The easiest Keto advice I've received came from my wife when she tried Keto with me. Rather than brushing her teeth as part of her bedtime routine, she started brushing her teeth immediately after eating dinner. I started doing the same thing and this tiny difference in my routine eliminated my urge to "graze." When I start thinking about grabbing the peanut butter after dinner, now I think, 'I just brushed my teeth,' and instead I grab a glass of water.

This is so true! One of my college roommates was a Dentist's Daughter. She brushed her teeth after EVERY MEAL and also after Snack times. We, of course, found that to be very odd and thought it was a "White Teeth" obsession BUT IT WASN'T. She said her Dentist FATHER had explained to her about brushing her teeth to help dramatically reduce food intake levels... also NOTING that drinking a full glass of fresh Water immediately afterwards was also a dramatic part of the needed equation! She even went so far with this that she NEVER used the same toothbrush twice... so she carried several NEW TOOTHBRUSHES with her in her purse EVERYDAY. She was a beautifully gorgeous girl with, yes, a radiant Smile. ✅.

This video was a game-changer for my keto journey! I started in mid-April 2022, and boy, it's been a learning curve. Fast forward to 2023, and I've witnessed remarkable results. From 285 lbs in March to 185 lbs, just by ditching sugar! I've been using a CGM to decode my food's glycemic impact. Type 2 D. diagnosis sparked this quest, and now I've got more metabolic flexibility and can even have some whole food carbs. My first post-diagnosis A1c was 5.2 mmol/l, higher HDL, lower triglycerides, and that pesky elevated LDL - ruclips.net/video/axVHp0_O8ek/видео.html

If u r missing cake, bread, crisps, biscuits you can make your own keto cake out of low carb vegan protein (two cups), olive oil, coconut oil, frozen berries, pumpkin seeds and water, microwave for six minutes (800W). Energy definitely down for first few weeks but got a boost from adding double cream to my coffee, not enough fat as like lean poultry cuts and fish. Amazing weight loss from stomach and backside in first month (BMI down to 19 but started only slight overweight (4-5kg), nearly 70 years old so it was stubborn fat). Within 24 hours of stopping grains I was completely gas free, really suffering in night and when I went to bed. I do eat a small green banana about midway between hard physical work or when on a long walk, naughty boy! Cramps in my left hand seem to have gone but fairing recent, stiff knees and need for reading glasses, both long term problems, still there but only the first month of keto. I think I overdid the protein with not enough fat as arm muscles were somewhat diminished and did not have excessive to start with but actual strength was unchanged, oddly. Great update on the state of keto and nice to see some open-mindedness rather that somewhat crazed thinking such as all meat is good.

so ive done keto successfully couple years ago and then lost my way. i tried again a month ago and lasted 3 weeks on the diet and everything and was expecting to transition to ketosis by max day 10, but by the end of week 3 i was so drained of energy, so constipated and clearly not transitioning to ketosis. Had to stop as my partner got covid and i had to have energy to work and look after this kids and all that. The gut health point and the moving my body more so that the glucose gets out of my bloodstream is what i believe, what i needed to get right to do it properly. I was having fiber capsules for the gut but wasnt having the probiotic. I will be trying this again after xmas as i have a lot of weight to lose. Appreciate the video thanks

I’m 79, down from 217 to 185 in ~4 months. I do the cooking now. Lots of omelets, use grass fed/ free range meat and eggs. Fasting comes easier for working people if you ditch breakfast, take a light, late lunch, then dinner. Try for a short eating window each day - 8 hours works, 6 is better, strive for 4 or 5 now and then.

I have been on keto since 2019 and I have lost over 120 lb. I'm in that group where I just could not lose any more weight. For weeks. I could not lose anything. This video really helps in that area. I am about to get a skin removal done because I have so much skin sagging. The surgeon thinks he's going to be able to take 20 lb off from me. Very excited. Never thought that I could ever lose weight. I went on weight watchers and gained weight. Keto is my lifesaver. It gave me my life back. It's a lifestyle. It's not a diet. If you go on keto just to lose weight when you get off of it you'll gain all your weight back. It has to be a life style change.

Started keto a week ago, and I’m truly shocked. I eat once a day, unintentionally!, I just can’t eat more than one meal a day. combination Meat or fish or chicken plus eggs, some cheese, bacon, and a lot of veggies with low carb, and I just can’t eat more than one meal around 1 pm. I force myself to eat some nuts, and small salad in the evening. I think my total calories is about 1500 for the day, but I just can eat more.
I used to eat cake and Ice cream till midnight, and in the last few days I don’t even remember or crave any of it.
    Crazy !!!!.

Dinner Time was as close to immediately after work as possible. Breakfast Time was always directly before going to Work. I guess I found it easier because FEWER PEOPLE were around eating 24/7. I was ALWAYS mindful TO GET PLENTY OF SLEEP 💤 during each day, everyday... that, too, is key 🔑. 5'2", 103 to 105 Lbs the whole time-frame I worked Nights 🌙. • @paigemccormick6519
      @paigemccormick6519 Год назад +2

Like many successful humans, you are challenging the natural day/night rhythm, including hormones. You know better than most how this affects you. To start imitating a natural rhythm, I would pick up a natural timeline and stick it onto your night-shift timeline. As such, you want to prolong your sleep-fast as much as possible, by a) not eating close to bedtime, b) delaying your first wakening meal. Then, lots to adjust as you adapt and learn.
Still, yes, it's about hormones, both up- and down-stream of nutrition input.
You keep the world running at night!

I lost 40 lbs on (mostly) clean Keto, got back to my ideal weight after several pregnancies and felt absolutely great. This was nearly four years ago until spring 2022. Since then, I've had another baby, was craving carbs loke nothing else and couldn't stick to Keto. I used to be a runner but had to stop during pregnancy. Add that to my lifelong sugar addiction and having a family of 6 to cook for, well, here I am after having gained 60 lbs in one year, at my heaviest ever. I started Keto a week ago again, took plenty of electrolytes, soldiered through the awful sweats and sugar withdrawal and I'm already feeling a lot better. It is great to feel significantly more energetic again. The key for me is to plan my meals ahead. I'm walking a lot at the moment and can't wait to go back to running once I've shifted a bit of weight so I don't wreck my knees. Good luck to anyone starting or restarting this way of eating. Keep calm and Keto on 😊

I work night shift.. I try to fast until l can’t stand it anymore. Depends on the night but it’s usually between 8pm-10pm (I work 7pm-7am) I have my first meal then and my 2nd meal between midnight-2am again depending on how long I can make it. I do bring a few healthy snacks with me.. nuts, berries, seaweed, cheese then I stop eating at 4am. I drink a gallon of water a day. I’m not sure if that is correct but that’s what I’ve been doing. It’s hard with working night shift and trying to get on a program.. Can someone let me know if this is right/ok? I appreciate it. Also I sleep from 7:30am-3:30-4pm. I’m a really good sleeper. I use electrolytes in my water.

I've been keto for 22 years. Initially lost and kept off about 60 pounds. Type 2 diabetes always under control.
AT 58 years old, about 5'6" I can do a session of 2 sets of 15 reps for these: dumbell curl 70 lbs, 50 pushups, 50 crunches, 15 of 300 lb dead lifts, 5 of 150 lb cleans, 15 of 175 lb, presses. I go easy on jogging speed due to age, but I can easily do 15 miles with zero aftereffects. I haven't needed a doctor in so long I can't think when I last went. The only times I was out sick was after the 2nd and 3rd covid shot, just sayin'.
Yeh, I' ve been lucky about health but compare this to my 5'3" 200 pound wife who has had gastric bypass, eats mostly carb garbage, always feels lousy, takes half a dozen pills daily, sleeps badly, gets out of breath after a few hundred yards of walking, and gets every medical business scam "diagnostics" offered. Yet, those lab numbers are always great!!!

This has been an inspiration and a lifestyle change for me. Meditation and a holistic approach to life has also been beneficial to me.

@@deepakpanditji6842 please make sure you focus on protein. 3 eggs is only about 20g of protein and fat and not nearly enough protein for anyone, not even a child. Thomas stated 30-40% calories from protein to aim for. So if you ate 1200 calories a day, a min of 360 calories from eggs is needed but preferably 480. One egg is approximately 75 calories is 5 to 7 eggs..if you need more calories due to your size, you need more eggs! Thanks for the update on veggies. I found Keto difficult because of counting carbs with veggies. Yeah, I’m going crazy with my salads and cruciferous vegetables and I’m not kicked out of Keto. Thing is I REALLY love my veggies and a half cup is minuscule. My old eating habits were pretty Keto to begin with but the only thing I had to give up are potatoes, my favourite and things like Melba toast. Luckily there are some low carb choices for some wraps and crackers. Never had a real sweet tooth or bread person, easy to give up. Genetically I’m predisposed to diabetes but my life choices has the doctors saying I am not showing any signs actually far from it. I want about 20 pounds off but don’t care how long it takes. I love that I Don’t feel ravenous ever! The hunger is less pressing and I enjoy my meals . Bit difficult being invited for dinner though. Most people don’t offer salads and vegetables like I do however I have brought my own keto buns to a bbq and when I bring a dish it is something I can fill up on. So, long story short, thanks for the go ahead with the veggies!!!!
