- From Sara Renzulli, the inventor of the ZulliTool: "One of the things that I love about needle felting is the endless possibilities, not just in what you can make, but in what wool is capable of and innovating techniques and methods. The ZulliTool came to be while I was wrapping a skewer and thought "If there were a wooden tool of a different size, I could make different useful shapes easily." From there, I developed a size and shape that gave me the most possibilities for my work and I am still finding more ways to use it."
The tool is hand crafted by one woodworker whom I met in the Adirondacks in New York. He is carving Cherry wood and finishing with several coats of boiled linseed oil for a smooth finish so it is a joy to handle and wool slides off easily. Each one is unique.

I just got my clover pen, starter kit, and zulli tool!!! Actually just received the tool today and can't wait to start using it! I made my first felted creation last night with cheap wool and polyfil for my core (next pay check is going towards the wool you provide on your site!!) I can't wait to start working with a better quality fiber and your videos are amazing and have helped me go in the right direction to ultimately utilizing wet felting for mourning hair art I want to start creating. I can't thank you enough for uploading these videos and giving me a stepping stone into my first real hobby! They are super peaceful and calming and thorough. :)

I was wondering what your felting surface is made of. Well I mean could you tell me what's inside that burlap? Or is that a Felting secret? Haha. I'm new to felting and finding it to be fun as heck. I've just been using like foam pieces I find laying around from stuff in boxes. Like the big white pc styrofoam from our new tv. But it wears out way to quick. Definitely subscribed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

Hi Sara. Just wondering. Did you take any sculpting classes to learn how to make faces, or was it all just thru practice? :)
I just realized I can't buy this because it's made of wood, wood can't be imported into Australia, how disappointing. It's a really neat tool though.
