Hey guys this is Austin. And today we're gonna be looking at the will to live. My will to live is slowly dying out so I'm inclined to ask, is it worth it?
Desmond Miles i wasnt saying it justifies it but honestly a lot of people build pc's more expensive then this in the 4-6k range. plus at least in a few years you could sell it for some of your money back, its not like you would keep it for two decades anyways
this is actually amazing. sure you can build a pc that is cheaper with similar specs but the form factor and the fact that both the cpu and gpu are watercooled makes this really appealing
Mark O. E. Not really, you can build an air cooled machine with the same specs for around £2000-£2200. Pretty much, you’re paying for the design and the water cooling.
So you are saying that this water cooled pc isn't worth it, because you can build an air cooled one yourself for pretty much the same price? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
TheBluePepsGaming it probably did 😂. I deleted my other comment because initially I thought it was a random hate comment, but now I understand it. Thanks for clearing that up. Here's a cookie 🍪.
I’ve actually seen it, and gotten to use it. I did some work with a sales rep here in Australia and he was showcasing the one. Literally the best pc I’ve ever used. So fast and so quiet. Sure benchmark programs and games are great to test the specs but I have a unique way of doing it. I have four games running simultaneously in each corner of the screen. I was surprised to see that the Corsair one is completely capable of that. Maybe even more games at once. It’s definitely worth the money if you’re up for it.
got one in this config. First one had a few issues, but as Corsair has great customer service, had a replacement in no time without much hastle. Once warentee is up, I plan on popping out and deliding the 7700K. Already running sight OC's using afterburner. Using a custom fan profile, it's still not noticable. I also got a good backpack, and can be taken as carry on for flights. I like it, and feel it was worth the 600 over making my own. Now hearing all the issued with RTX and new cards, I'm very happy with this setup.
To be honest I think it’s not worth it for that price tag I honestly feel that a good gaming experience is 1080p at 60 FPS that’s it it’s just overkill u only need that much power and u can build one that can handle Gta at 1080p at 60 FPS for half the price
its defenitly over priced but in general getting more then 60fps is really usefull, especially if you are a youtuber try recording a game with 60fps then compare that to 120 then to 240 etc, its a big difference and looks so much more smooth
That title change though, from "The $3000 ultimate gaming PC: is it worth it?" to "The Best Prebuilt Gaming PC?". I just like to know personally what encouraged this title change, since the two titles are drastically different. Just an observation and a question to go with a it, nothing more. Keep up the great content.
yea get a job.. do you know that in my country avarage pay is 300 euro per month 9 hours work? if you are lucky and dont have any credits you can save up to 75 euro.
Thanks for another five minute infomercial Austin! Especially liked the part where you did not talk about about the noise the thing makes, who needs that kind of in-depth nonsense anyway! At least we were able to hear that beautiful high pitched wind tunnel sound during the Deus Ex benchmark, stunning work. Maybe next time add the voice-over in post so you don't accidentally give away any of the drawbacks a certain product might have. Great work, keep it up. Really.
The biggest reason people prefer building a pc than buying a prebuilt one is because it's much cheaper and do not look at anything else. These companies need to drop the prices because I'm pretty sure I can make the same pc and save a lot of money with the same specs.
With buying parts online and building one yourself you have warranties on EVERY part of the build INDIVIDUALLY. Meaning that if ur graphics card stops working you can still use your computer and just send in the card instead of the entire computer. (also there are websites dedicated to troubleshooting pc problems and that help with incompatibility in the process of picking parts. IE: pcpartpicker and tomshardware) I don't have anything against prebuilds they are awesome sometimes like this one, but i just wanted to give some incite into just building a computer on its own.
I remember someone comment in last video about austin that says "You don't have to wear super tight t-shirt austin, we know you work out!" or something similar. and i think he actually read that comment and dont wear the super tight t-shirt anymore.
Bought a 600$ cyberpower , and fx 4300 , 8gb of ram , upgraded to Kingston 16gb , originally came with a crap graphics card so I got a 1050ti , it came with a decent power supply , and a wd blue 1tb ... Really nice PC , can play all call of dutys at high to ultra depending which one , plays killing floor 2 amazingly , and plays triple a tittles at a solid high and some textures adjusted
Let me help answer it for you: It's not. If you want small, the One is nowhere near as small as other pre-builts. If you want cheap, you could save much more than $600 if you built it yourself.
I really like that form factor a lot, but I will say, the port selection is pretty sub-par. If I were building a system in that range I'd probably be using a top end mobo with a lot more I/O options. This is less important for gaming, but for creation it makes it's a bit tight.
I love the looks and performance of this little gaming rig but if I were to spend $3000 on a sff setup I'd wanna do custom water myself. I still really love the Bitfenix Prodigy...
Oh for heaven's sake. These comments. Seeing a pre-built and automatically pissing on it. Yes, a custom built will always be the way to go for most of us who prioritize value, customizability, and want to get the most out of our cash but as far as pre-builts go, this is far from "bad"...it's actually great which is something I didn't think I would ever say for a pre-built once upon a time. Even I can admit that I'm impressed (and jealous) of how much power they crammed in this 12-liter case and yet still allow people to swap things out or add things in. The engineering involved into making this small system perform the way it does obviously warrants a price premium plus the extensive testing needed to ensure that the entire system works as intended, the design conceptualizing, the support provided for all parts within the system (as opposed to separate support for each piece when building your own), the assembly, the revenue, etc. I once worked at a computer shop and if there's anything I learned during that time is that people need as much options as they can get and this is exactly why products like this are necessary. We sometimes forget how there are way too many types of people than we realize. For example, there are people who know all about how to choose parts but don't want to get their hands dirty by building it themselves and run the risk of breaking or getting things wrong and setting it up (so they let us in the shop build it for them), there are also those who want something with all the high-end parts that just works, and there are also those who have too much money and little time to spare and just want luxury items to buy. Regardless of the reason, products like this are necessary so long as they are built well and this in particular, is. If people can buy expensive phones and laptops with little to no value in them well then there is absolutely a market out there for this one. It just so happens that it's not most of us.
I sold my alienware 17 R4 for this PC, so impressed for anyone who wants a Desktop that will last you years after years of gaming ! :D just can't afford the 4k :(
Hey Duncan33303. What's up? How is team Crispy Bacon members doing? By the way.... HEY AUSTIN THIS IS GUYS!!!!!!! You are the best youtuber ever, Duncan33303!
Guys. Just go to originpc. They will make your custom pc for you with whatever specs you like, and offer a build with 1080ti and 17 8700k for a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the corsair one pro. They also offer a payment plan with allows you to pay over the course of months with a 3000 dollar pc costing you roughly 100 dollars monthly, which is the best part.
Hey guys this is Austin. And today we're gonna be looking at the will to live. My will to live is slowly dying out so I'm inclined to ask, is it worth it?
LMAO
No. It is very painful and very slow to operate. Upgrade it and it will be better.
The worst part is that I read it in his voice
SShimon no
Now this,this is entertainment
20 years later we'll be laughing at this PC!!!
Desmond Miles you say that as if it doesnt also apply to all the other prebuilt and custom pc's on the market today
everything is going to be obsolete in future, but spending 3000 on pc today is not justifiable...20 years later, maybe we can get this for 300$
Desmond Miles i wasnt saying it justifies it but honestly a lot of people build pc's more expensive then this in the 4-6k range. plus at least in a few years you could sell it for some of your money back, its not like you would keep it for two decades anyways
Desmond ?? i thought you died.....
In 20 years will there be a corsair *TWO*

you cant even buy a fraction of a car with that money in my country
Mark O. E. Are memes worth it?
So you are saying that this water cooled pc isn't worth it, because you can build an air cooled one yourself for pretty much the same price? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
That's entirely up to you, for me, it is.
Hey Austin, this is guys.

But many people don't want to build a PC. Its easier to buy one than build even if it does cost more money.
Yeah i hear plugging in some basic shit and googling what works with what is too much for some people.
Random Dud3 spending hundreds more to buy instead of build so you save 2-3 hours of your time?
dog the unliving it all goes to waste if you fuck it up :/

Austin, Guys, This is Hey
You could build that for a little more than 2000 dollars and also get a better case
Arya Patel but the size and how quiet it is. Yeah I might just buy one for that alone
AZglitch and an I7
Austin's laugh always make me smile😀
Austin Evans in his every video:
"I actually like the look of this"
Can you do this with cheaper prebuilt pcs like around 800-700-600??
Arash Behforooz no lol
Hey Austin! This is guys
"Hey Guys I'ts Exhausting"
Man, this guy is on fire
Austin Evans is no joke.
It's worth it if you have $3,000 to throw away...
Im spending my life savings for a cable box?
RandomShits josh I feel for you.
He Just changed his title name from "is a 3000 PC worth it" to this
I’d totally get this because it’s a really nice computer for gaming and its prebuilt.
I remember someone comment in last video about austin that says "You don't have to wear super tight t-shirt austin, we know you work out!" or something similar.
and i think he actually read that comment and dont wear the super tight t-shirt anymore.
Austin, when you test PCs please use PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds as part of the test
It's kind of useless since the game is bad optimized because it's in Alpha
Eduardo Narciso its early access but still we would see if the system can survive the bugs etc
Muizz Khalid Bugs, to my knowledge, have to do with the game's programming and not the system
Test big games like witcher 3, skyrim, or even fallout, all those games can really show how strong a pc is.
lol it sounded like you were saying mudaboard
Is this channel worth it?
Other youtubers : lets make a great intro video so our viewers can enjoy it.

no . hello darkness my old friend
Basically it's not worth it
Let me help answer it for you: It's not. If you want small, the One is nowhere near as small as other pre-builts. If you want cheap, you could save much more than $600 if you built it yourself.
Huge power
Good form factor
Fair price for custom water cooling job in a small form factor
Good stuff

I really like that form factor a lot, but I will say, the port selection is pretty sub-par. If I were building a system in that range I'd probably be using a top end mobo with a lot more I/O options. This is less important for gaming, but for creation it makes it's a bit tight.

I once worked at a computer shop and if there's anything I learned during that time is that people need as much options as they can get and this is exactly why products like this are necessary. RandomShits josh fuckin waste of money. Austin is really a fuckin sellout
Thanks for the review keep up the good job
If you wanna pay huge premiums for aesthetics and smaller size, then yes, it's worth it. Barely. Tbf it's a better value than other prebuilt PCs.
Just buy a car
I sold my alienware 17 R4 for this PC, so impressed for anyone who wants a Desktop that will last you years after years of gaming ! :D just can't afford the 4k :(
How about a video about upgrading one of your old builds?
Hey Duncan33303. What's up? How is team Crispy Bacon members doing?
By the way.... HEY AUSTIN THIS IS GUYS!!!!!!! You are the best youtuber ever, Duncan33303!
You should test with Forza Horizon 3 in your computer gaming tests, because its a pretty heavy game...
You think?
Of course! It looks like the xbox series x.
Austin lookin T H I C C as always
