Mike you said that you was listening to Christmas music while splitting the fire wood got you into the Christmas spirit. It reminded me of walking Guard Duty while listening to Christmas music being played on the loud speakers around the Military Compound in Korea back in 1966. With the temperature being around around -20° to -25° below zero and walking with a rifle, several layers of clothing, wearing Mickey Mouse Boots (Army cold weather rubber boots that resemble Mickey Mouse shoes) 2 hours on and 4 hours off all night long. Talk about making you homesick 6,000 miles away from home and family at Christmas time in a foreign county. I wonder now how I ever did it.
I just love the way you're developing your property and paving the way for next generations!!. ''renewable energy'' gets a whole different meaning with new trees growing
You should make another concrete corral with the barriers stacked up and just get like a couple hundred tons of stone to keep on hand for projects or repairs.
Weather - we're getting a week of wet. On/off fog, damp, wet, mud, puddles, dank n dark, today out w Gkids, at 4:15, headlights required, here in Hickory NC. Like you, I don't like the mud. Yep, ya getting behind on your firewood! Did ya ever think back when you were driving to another meeting that if ya retired and just stayed home you'd have more work than ya could keep up with? I'm loving it! The more you got going on, the more we get to enjoy! Great stuff - keep the cameras on for us please and we all have a very Merry Christmas! Now get Eva's boyfriend over and train him up on splitting firewood! Big pavilion and big building, splitting in the dry. Get power and lights on the pavilion and split till 9pm! Put camera mounts on the uprights and joists too, plus your others, that way we don't miss anything! Now for the next Christmas present......Love you guys, have a day and I'll pray its blessed!👍🚜❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
I initially didn’t see value in the split force vs your setup, but after your explanation I can see how it’ll be a great tool for the bundled firewood.
Mike I watched almost all of your videos almost since you started. I'm so impressed that I and my grandsons at going to start a firewood business. Im63 and the boys are 15, 10 and 8. I am watching your video on firewood with the new blue splitter but I feel I would like the other one better. Merry Christnas to all of the Morgans.
Been playing catch up on your videos for about a week now . Lost ability to broadcast to TV from phone about 4 months ago .( Not the same watching on phone vs TV with surround sound ) I was getting rather depressed not getting my OWTM fix , but doing better now that I'm bringing past episodes , ❤️ Love your channel , keep the videos coming ! Grateful for more like minded people to collect thoughts & energy from .
Thank you for giving me a reason to relax with a late day cup of coffee while watching your video's. your prospective and insight is refreshing. It's amazing how people who we may never have met or meet can share so many qualities and like's. Mike - keep on being you, again thank you!
Like Mr Blue splitter as it is at a pace you want to set for yourself and like you said at sizes to what you want. That time of the year to get busy and prep for next year as I love burning wood in our stove. Have a Lopi stove insert heating 1500 sq ft close to 20 years old and still doing well burning 24/7. Always enjoy the videos and all the family working together. Thanks for sharing and all that you do. Dennis Mishawaka,Indiana
Hey Steve try a wet rag or paper towel and dip it in your ash and wipe the glass. Go over it with a clean wet towel or paper towel and it works slick. No cleaner needed ! Have a day !
Greetings to all from a wet gray dreary NCNC! 47F/8C and supposed to start raining again here in a bit. Howdy to Hunter and all the others in Clan Morgan. Including the mouse In Melissa’s pocket! 😝
Thanks Mike and Melissa for sharing with us today and to your sponsors too. Looks really good around there Mike, you all are ready for Christmas, hopefully a White Christmas for you all. Stay safe and keep up the fun around there, and hello to the rest of the crews too. Fred.
The Split Force is a really nice machine but I think your other processor is faster. I think you have a pretty good method for the bundles. Both are great.
Thank You for the videos Mike and Melissa!! I really enjoy them and find them very motivating to get me out cleaning up my woods and property!! Beautiful setup you have there and hope you all have a blessed day!!
Really great fire starter ,and thanks for getting it to me ASAP. How is Hunter doing ? How is Eva after awhile it’s been since the Surgery? I see Melissa’s keeping busy!
Hi Mike and Melissa, another great video. Melissa said yunz have a lot of irons in the fire, well, yeah that is a pretty accurate statement. I used to think I had a lot of irons in the fire, I have no where near the irons you have. But hey, I'm retired and don't let much stack on me. Something needs done I just tackle it. Oh and by the way Mike, I still need some 4/4 cherry boards if you ever get to selling any. Yunz have a day!! Hehe, Jay from Pa.
you do want a 4 way, it will speed up production. If you do 1/4 strokes of the ram, just enough to "pop it" open, its easier to rotate the round, keeping all the pieces together, then split the other way, then knock the whole round into the conveyor, it will all break apart in the conveyor. You can also load 3 rounds on deck at that size, that log lifter will handle it
Mike....not sure if you still have your old wolf Ridge; if you do, can set up both splitters on each side of conveyor where two people can spilt sawed rounds.
Too Funny, we're way behind on cutting wood. But, you only cut one log at a time. You used to cut 3-5 logs at a time. You expanded and slowed your self down. Hope You Have a Better Day, Boscawen NH
Hi Mike good video. Came back from hunting Friday. didn`t get anything, 4 guys in camp. We are in Elk Co. Deer are scarce in the area. Didn`t see any Elk
Has Melissa told you she wants a matching skid steer or mini exc for Christmas? Go ahead and surprise her. Nice looking Red Oak. I always found Red Oak was some of the easiest wood to split, really pretty. Those saw logs will put out some pretty lumber also.
Great video Mike!, I herd this morning we could get up to an inch of snow Christmas morning here in southeastern ,ohio. You might just have a white Christmas!. Morgans good day!.
Hi guys how are you all doing me and my wife have been watching you for a long time we just love your videos me and my wife are both disabled we don’t get out much we stay home a lot are ssi is all ready gone leaving us broke for the rest of the month we wanted to know if there was anyway you could send us two shirts both xtra large if so please let me know ok I will always keep you in our prayers may god always smile down on you Jim And Sherry Ricker
Funny that people don't see what you are trying to do with your small splits for bundle wood. I do the same thing and it seems so obvious to me. Oh well. That oak is nice to split for bundles. It pops in half as soon as the splitter hits it. Cheers and God bless. PS as the father of four daughters I can say Melissa your hair looks great.
HELLOOOO from a gorgeous 66 degree December day here in Virginia Beach…& it was a fishing day this morning too…Glad to see you making “MAN GLITTER” & doing the “FINER THINGS IN LIFE” Have a Day Hello Hunter 😁😁😁😁
Mike, On one of your future videos, could you show us again how you mark off the length of the logs you cut? I'd sure like to see how you do that. Thanks!
I could watch hours of this. Heck, I do watch hours of it. Thanks. And I think you live in a freaking rainforest, so my bet is you get a white Christmas!
Are you planning to keep the Split Force? Would be perfect for the bundled wood as you said. I like it and looks like it would be fun to operate. Thanks for your video’s Mike.
When you first make your cut, You could split from the right & let it fall to the right, instead of splitting that first cut on the left then moving it to the right while you score the block & let those pieces fall to the left. It would save time from transferring that first cut over to the right.
I wonder if it would not be a good idea to paint an orange or yellow band around the verticals on your new Pavilion, maybe prevent an accident running into them in the fog.
Mike nice little splitter you got there. Mobility makes it nice. Where did you get that from? You will get caught up in no time especially with all the equipment you have, you will be really efficient.
Hello from Chicago! I wonder what the moisture measure would be on that red oak just split is and what it would be after a year of seasoning. Ready to burn you think?
HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY MIKE ,MELISSA, AND ALL OF THE GANG....I JUST LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDS.....AND LOVE YOURS TO MELISSA....I BUMPED INTO YOUR SITE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, AND I'M WATCHING ABOUT 4HRS. A DAY JUST TRYING TO GET THROUGH ALL OF THE VIDS....WATCHING THE LAST FIVE YEARS OF YOUR LIFE MAKES MY DAY.....I'M A PREPPER IN WISCONSIN...HAD BEEN BURNING WOOD FOR HEAT FOR 40 YEARS....I'M IN AN APT. NOW BUT I HAVE A FIRE PIT CAUSE I JUST LOVE WATCHING A FIRE....IT MUST BE THE PIRO I'M ME....'MIKE'S 4TH OF JULY... I THINK HE HAS ALOT OF PIROMEANIAC IN HIMSELF TOO....KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK...STAY SAFE AND ENJOY LIFE...OH AND TELL HUNTER HELLO TOO
I live in Florida so don’t know much about firewood: if it gets rained and snowed on does that make it smoke a lot when it burns? Or is the smoke not bad if the wood gets wet after it is properly dried?
Just a thought, but with the excavator you're going to keep cutting much longer as you age. I'm 68 and bending over is hard on your back, bringing the wood to waist height makes cutting easier. Also I've gone from a 38cc 16" saw to a 50cc 20" saw and it's a whole different experience for me. Great video.
Mike you got sun there,,haa like that portable rig,,,for splitting...i dont want no part of ice,,its hills where i live,,and you slid down them,,haa many times...snow is better,,with no rain...is it spring yet...im counting the days....getter done my boy..
Mike I your setup!!! I'm drinking coffee and watching your videos. I love it!!! One day, I will be doing the same !! What size is your pavilion? Just a quick question: Wouldn't people prefer firewood the size you're making for bundle wood? Seems to me a lot easier to handle all the way around.... Thanks for your videos!!
We'll trade you weather. You have green grass, we have snow that isn't going away for this winter here in western Wisconsin. Temperature right now is 31 degrees.

With your logs being 95 percent strait a wood processor would be the ticket. You ain't getting any younger. You still can use the wolfridge for wonky logs. I seen some processors move some logs and firewood ain't gotta look good. It's all in the stacking.
I'd like to see you do a test with your wood stove: you split wood quite small to your customers' preference, I get that. I like the overhead view of the logs being split, very satisfying.
I initially didn’t see value in the split force vs your setup, but after your explanation I can see how it’ll be a great tool for the bundled firewood.
that was my thoughts also, but glad he explained it to us.. Make sense now..
Always staying busy. Always plenty to do. I know the neighbors are loving being your neighbor.

Nice Kubota's! Also like the firewood operation, especially the reusable pallets.
It is -35 below 0 hear in Manitoba today and about a foot of snow on the ground. It really looks nice their.
I like the way you make peices of firewood that easy to handle
Mike you are adding value to your bundles of fire wood by showing your future customers how to make the bundles
Mike it’s always good to see you and Melissa. One of these days we hope to get to meet you guys. Love your videos. 👍❤️
Hey Mike when you clean glass on your wood stove use glass cleaner and 4 000 steel wool works great 👍
Hey Steve try a wet rag or paper towel and dip it in your ash and wipe the glass. Go over it with a clean wet towel or paper towel and it works slick. No cleaner needed ! Have a day !
Beautiful Firewood you are splitting up!! Someone is going to get some awesome Firewood!!
Thank You for sharing!!
Keep Smiling On!!

Coming up on the shortest day of the year. I noticed the lack of sunlight just today. Great episode Mike.
Thanks for sharing, Mike and Melissa !! Say "Hi" to Hunter and grandson, Ty !! Don't forget to include pretty daughter, Eva !!
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love you guys.
New mobile splitter is neat, the Wolf Ridge is 4x the machine though!
Hey Mike,
Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you guys. All the best, and God bless.

Hi Mike good video. Came back from hunting Friday. didn`t get anything, 4 guys in camp. We are in Elk Co. Deer are scarce in the area. Didn`t see any Elk
Pavillion looks good . Time for that Christmas music! Looking forward to more videos. Hugs from N.C..❤️
Here in north Idaho we had a white Thanksgiving and it hasn’t quit. Our highs are in the 20’s.
Family first work will be there tomorrow morning, afternoon,or evening 😊❤👍
Has Melissa told you she wants a matching skid steer or mini exc for Christmas? Go ahead and surprise her. Nice looking Red Oak. I always found Red Oak was some of the easiest wood to split, really pretty. Those saw logs will put out some pretty lumber also.
I like the littl splitter, it makes you pay attention to your hands
Hello Morgan family!
I like that little splitter that looks like it's quick not a comical splitter but nice little splitter.
Great video Mike!, I herd this morning we could get up to an inch of snow Christmas morning here in southeastern ,ohio. You might just have a white Christmas!. Morgans good day!.

Hello Hunter 😁😁😁😁
I wasn't sure about that Split Force deal when you first got it but looks like it turned out to be a useful addition. good vid.
Great job Mike! You have a nice plan. The Huntman is the best
I love how you think work smarter not harder
Mike, On one of your future videos, could you show us again how you mark off the length of the logs you cut? I'd sure like to see how you do that. Thanks!
simple he use's a tape measure and marks off every 16" you can see the chalk marks on the logs if you look.
I could watch hours of this. Heck, I do watch hours of it. Thanks. And I think you live in a freaking rainforest, so my bet is you get a white Christmas!
hi there i also don't always care for a 4 was wedge . i also think the way you are doing it there is less wood waist , happy stacking john
people in our area in ohio always sell bundle wood with bark. I never saw a problem with it.
I was going to say the same thing.....what's wrong with bark on campfire wood?
Are you planning to keep the Split Force? Would be perfect for the bundled wood as you said. I like it and looks like it would be fun to operate. Thanks for your video’s Mike.

Love your videos From Tennessee 👍
see them old rawhide gloves thawed out lol have a day !!!
I wonder if it would not be a good idea to paint an orange or yellow band around the verticals on your new Pavilion, maybe prevent an accident running into them in the fog.
❤️🐻💯 happy holidays Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the Morgan family from Spirit Bear Ranch St Johns Arizona
What do you do with all the plastic tanks from the firewood totes?
Mike nice little splitter you got there. Mobility makes it nice. Where did you get that from? You will get caught up in no time especially with all the equipment you have, you will be really efficient.
That Ram dually is beautiful 😍
And then Melissa shows up....this is too much sensory overload in one video 🤣🥰

5:14 pm. Nice stove! You should have a poker!
Good Morning Mike from a cool foggy Gulf Shores ! Have you ever thought about a free standing Tank to hold your Diesel ? Maybe an electric pump ?
I live in Florida so don’t know much about firewood: if it gets rained and snowed on does that make it smoke a lot when it burns? Or is the smoke not bad if the wood gets wet after it is properly dried?
That’s a nice splitter for the right application. Are you planning on putting any kind of sides on the new bldg?
On that 11/16t wood splitter, how many tons ram on it .
Nice!!
Just a thought, but with the excavator you're going to keep cutting much longer as you age. I'm 68 and bending over is hard on your back, bringing the wood to waist height makes cutting easier. Lay an old beat up piece of plywood in deck of your trailer to stop dings in the floor of trailer from dropping wood on bare metal
Thats Merican Steel Right there, No dings allowed lol
Is it harder to use forks on the tractor vs the skid steer? I cant see my forks (when low) on my tractor. Any tips/secret sauce?
Are you ever planning on putting a wood stove in the house?
Mike I your setup!!! I'm drinking coffee and watching your videos. I love it!!! One day, I will be doing the same !! What size is your pavilion? Good evening everyone ☺ 😊 👍👍🎅😊🎅
Mike….do you still mark your logs with chalk 16” lengths?
Hi I’ve bean watching for a long time I see your yousing the blue splitter but I think your own one with ther multi head on is Forster
We'll trade you weather. You have green grass, we have snow that isn't going away for this winter here in western Wisconsin. Temperature right now is 31 degrees.
Hey Mike Love the channel. ,
🍩🍩🍩
Good evening
Mike, when you mentioned the term ‘off-road’ diesel when filling your transporter tank: would I be correct in believing that you have two prices for diesel fuel in the ‘States? One for normal transport, and one for farming, agriculture and land business?
Here in England, we operate on ‘Red Diesel’ for farms, agriculture, etc.’ but there are significant penalties if the Regulator catches someone using it for ordinary transport.
I visit your site regularly, enjoy the patterns of your life.
You are correct!
Hi Mike, Mellissa, and Morgan family. Your videos never disappoint. I enjoy watching machinery of various kinds, in operation. I might be among the few, but I find it very satisfying. You do very nice work there, Mike! Blessings from Rick in N.H.
In my stove bark burns and so do limbs.
Hi Mike thanks for entertaining me is that a catalytic stove
Hello! 🙂
Any plans to buy a wood processor cuts and splits logs etc
it’s all about the right tools, don’t you agree Mike?
The splitter looks like a copycat of the eastonmade axis. Although the conveyor is longer. And it gets the job done. Until next time have a great day. Give Hunter a big Hello & dogs a pat on the head
With your logs being 95 percent strait a wood processor would be the ticket. You ain't getting any younger. You still can use the wolfridge for wonky logs. I seen some processors move some logs and firewood ain't gotta look good. It's all in the stacking.
I never seen that brand or the Easton made axis with anything but a single wedge...
I would imagine that anyone that thinks that machine should have a 4 way on it has never used a log splitter.
@@BKD70 obviously they have just not that type of vertical splitter. What experience they have is with horizontal splitters.
I'd like to see you do a test with your wood stove: you split wood quite small to your customers' preference, I get that. My experience is that half splits or even full logs will burn longer & still generate enough heat, without having to reload the stove as often. More efficient use? Not a pro by any stretch...
Can you go for solar in your area?
Small splits are worth big $$$. I make smoking bundles and pizza oven bundles at 1 cu ft. for $15, so 128 bundles = $1,920 per cord….!! YES SIR….!!! I’ll keep doing what I do…!!
