Is the appolonia similar to Juliette Not a perfume?? Yeah I would LOVE a video on your favorite musk scent ....if u will try to explain what a musk is...musk is a soft gentle almost powdery scent ..(think of the White Musk from back in the day that everyone wore) I have actually learned (after watching alot of different fragrance channels) that some people think musk is that strong strong masculine scent that's in A LOT OF MENS colognes ..but yes I'm definitely awaiting your musk video ❤
So I got Iris Malikhan after you recommended it quite awhile back, and I absolutely love it. It really is so unique! I had originallly ordered some samples from Twisted Lily, and when I opened the package I immediately smelled something strong (and something that smelled amazing!) and realized that the Iris Malikhan sample had broken open! I was devastated of course because it smelled so freaking good!!! The dry down was just emanating from the packaging. Lol. I did contact Twisted Lily and they sent me a replacement, which I really appreciated. Anyway, I think if anyone likes powdery, creamy, slightly sweet scents (and doesn't mind a hint of aromatic notes) they'd really like it. What continues to draw me to it is not only the uniqueness, but the complexity of it. When I initially spray it on I think, maybe I don't like this as much as I remember, it's just ok. But after 15 or 20 minutes I remember why I love it so much. So good!!! 😍
Is it powdery/iris/orris like in a good way? I adore athalia and BDK vanille leather, so you get what kinda powdery I like but I can’t stand lipstick rose lol

Nothing like Guerlain French Kiss which has orris and violet and I wasn't a fan of that powdery type of scent. I do like Lipstick On by Maison Margiela if you've tried that. I might compare it slightly to Prada D'iris, but it's not as harsh. If you go to Twisted Lily you can get a sample for $5. I highly recommend it if you like orris/iris. When i first spray it, I'm like ok, it's fine, but once the top notes fade it's amazing. It has mastitque which adds a creaminess. I highly recommend this perfume. So well blended. I think there's a very good chance you'd like it if you like orris.
Am not sure if someone else has mentioned this. But that Prada is not a private collection. Infusion d'Amande is part of their main line and a flanker of infusion d'iris. Their private line is called Prada Olfactories. Great video Karina you are doing a great job.
I would like to see a video of how you layer your frangrances with your body oils and creams and lotions because again nothing and i mean nothing works on me, and i too have a collection.
Do you mean the perfumes don't smell good? Or that you cant smell them on yourself? If you mean the latter, Ive had this problem as well, and started spraying perfume directly on the front section of my hair (at about my nose to chin level) and it's made such a huge difference! (of course you have to at least chin length hair, and be wearing it down and not tucked behind your ear.) I can enjoy my perfume so much better that way. The other thing that's helped is spraying on my shirt. (Perfume just doesn't last at all on my skin) Anyway if that's not what you meant then ignore my recommendation. Lol. 😊
I think Figment from Amouage is the most unique scent I’ve ever smelled. You will love it or hate it! The opening smells like mint and licorice to me but the dry down is amazing and addictive! I can’t get enough of it!
I agree, the four that I have are complex and niche, and some do develop! Thank you for introducing me to some scents I'd never heard anyone review/mention!!
Yes to a video on layering please. I have so many perfumes but I’m always afraid of layering worried that they won’t go good together and I will ruined my day or night since perfume is the last step before walking out the door.

Love guidance die hard but Iris malikhan is something I can’t stop using atm, I find it so cozy and vanillic in the dry down 😊I layer bianco latte with it too.

Love this video so much! I own 2-3 on this list and completely agree with your comments. Very intrigued by the Prada! I would only disagree on oud satin mood because rose and oud is a very classic and well done combo. I’ve tried 2 dupes of it by Oakcha and Julianna’s Perfumes and both are identical to the og to my nose as well as have incredible longevity (12+ hours on skin and will last on clothes until you launder) Good to know the fenty perfume is not replicable… because I don’t have to be afraid of running into that scent 🤣 jk just not the scent for me.

I bought Delina as a blind buy. I loved it but not on me,plus it gave me a headache. I gave it to my 13yo daughter and she mixed it with a bath and body scent and I was in love with it. I’m going to get it for her again.

I am obsessed with Diptyque Eau Duelle EDP, but the sample only lasted 15 mins on my skin, so I won't purchase the bottle. However, I do need to satisfy my obsession with that unsweetened vanilla. People are saying that Luen Feline is a great replacement for it and has good longevity; what are your thoughts on this? PS: I didn't like Delina at all am I weird :)
Diptyque Eau Duelle edp is indeed a beautiful scent, i have it and i dont mind respraying. 😉Lune Feline is more greener, has a strong balsam note! The ambergris & benzoin are also very strong. I should sample first because its not a safe blind buy.

Has anyone here tried Frederick Malle’e Iris Poudre and how it compares to either of the iris fragrances mentioned here (Apollonia and Malikhan)? The notes and overall descriptions all share similarities. I have iris poudre so trying to see if these would be much different from the others as iris is quite a distinguishable note.
I have only a decant of Iris Poudre and it's so different from Iris Malhikan. Iris Poudre is softer and sweeter and more delicat than iris Malhikan .But i love them both
Bought a decant of Amouage Guidance and im disappointed. It smells good but not unique. Mayb i expect too much of this fragrance as most of youtubers/tiktokers raved it too much.People can smell you but i do believe its not a full bottle worthy

When I first tried Oud satin mood, i fell in love with the scent. But quickly realized that it made me super nauseous after and hour or so😢
