loved how organized you were when swatching. like every blush was given its moment and attention. sometimes I don't like declutter videos because it looks like products are being thrown around and are being treated like trash even before they get decluttered. but this was so thoughtful and helpful!
I think a blind declutter would be good also. Where someone else swatches your hand and then without knowing the brand you choose what you keep or get rid of. That would be really interesting to see if you got rid of more of the high-priced brands. Just a thought, but loved the video💜
I love this idea! Especially since a lot of the keep blushes have similar color families. Having all the orangey blushes, the rose, the light pink, the bright pink, etc., swatched together without knowing which is which sounds like a great way to pick the best of the best.
The only challenge with this is that swatches don’t tell everything. 🤔
As someone who owns a grand total of 1 blush, I love these videos. Seeing the swatches of all these products so is incredibly satisfying ❤

I love love love the About Face blushes. They are gorgeous, affordable and I love that I can tell exactly the color when reaching for them. The formula is great for beginners and lasts well if set❤

Buxom Seychelles is one of my favorite blushes ever, top five. I'm on my second one. It looks so great on the cheeks, so smooth. Shiny without glitter, a beautiful shade that goes with almost anything.

Lauren, I love that you swatch them all, with reasons on why to keep or why to pass on or toss...I've watched a few declutters and not all do this important and useful step...and, question: are you good at getting stains in just the right place, I find I have to line my lips so theres no accidental wabbles outside where I want it to be....
Jen Phelps recently showed google searches showing makeup trends & blush is out of hand while eyeshadow palettes is super low! 😂
Next year it will be something else. Round and round we go.
@@TracyD2THIS! I read a comment somewhere that right now everyone is decluttering their palettes - and brands will rejoice when they’re back in trend as they can then easily sell a bunch to customers. I use this as a reminder to be “smart” about my declutters. It’s all just a phase…

Mac warm soul the OG version was so good I panned a whole one but the new version many people have said is different and that is so disappointing me as the original was stunning. What a comprehensive gift to us damn so thorough!
I wish Benefit would make Dallas again but the original formula. That color was my signature blush for nearly 10 years.
Gold rush is my go to. And I see pan now 😑 don’t know what I’m going to replace it with.
my obsession with evaporate by phytosurgence is so strong! every other blush ive tried looks so bright on me that it instantly becomes the focal point of my face. evaporate looks like it comes from my skin. I literally have gone through an entire pot.
100% on Rockateur, it's still my most used blush since it launched in 2013 and I have a lot of blush! I had to grab a new one the minute I heard it was gonna be discontinued. Best formula and shade!
Hell yeah, I have mine still it's one of the only boxed benefit blushes I ever bought. It came with a broken mirror and I never asked for a replacement so I just kept the seal over it.
I feel like I had another, hevana and I wasn't as much a fan.
I do say I always wanted sugarbomb and I still do.

@@TracyD2 My MAC Warm Soul swatches as a dupe on my arm but pulls flatter and more neutral-peach on my face than Rockateur which seems to have more mauvey-pink to it, Clinique Pink Honey Pop is close but a bit pinker and flatter
Yes I need a dupe too! Gold rush was my go to! But rockateur is what I’ve been using because it’s in the blush pallet. I’m almost out of that one now too tho. I need dupes!!!

I’m scraping the bottom of my benefit, blush palette in colours gold rush and rockateur and I’m so bummed that they don’t exist anymore. They are stunning colours and the formula is amazing and I bought the pallet in 2016 and it’s still serving. But I bet I have 10 more applications and then I don’t know what I’m going to buy. As it’s all I currently have in my collection. So this video came at the perfect timing! 💕 (the two remanding if Color’s dandelion and Californication I’m not sure if I will pan them as they don’t suit me like the other two do).

If you have an older friend or family member who you pass on items to, give them those ColourPop cream sticks. I gave only to a family member who is about 70 and the formula works really well on their older skin. It glides and blends nicely on the thinner skin some older people have.

benefit discontinued my favorite shade Dallas. i used it as a bronzer and it was just perfect. the NYX butter melt bronzer in all buttahd up is the closest thing i can find but nothing beats Dallas. i have tiny broken up pieces left that i save for special occasions only 😢
Hmmm. I just googled it to see if I can think of a dupe for you. The pictures online vary a lot. Have you looked into the Jones Road ‘bronzer’ called Dusty Rose? I have it. I do love it.
Yes! I just made a comment about it! NARS had a shade called Madly that was similar to the original Dallas before it turned more orange. They discontinued it naturally. The NYX shade you’re talking about is now my go to because of how close it is to Dallas.

@@LilySlade yes it is very close! i think Dallas has a slightly different undertone but overall i think it's one of the most similar things on the market right now. i also just read that NARS reformulated all their blushes and i've literally been using Orgasm since the beginning of time 😭i guess the makeup gods are telling me it's time for something new
I think Palm Beach by The Balm is supposed to be a dupe. I could be wrong and it may or may not be discontinued.
Omg blush is one of my favorite makeup items and I have over 15 blushes and I’ve been wanting to downsize as blush takes sooo long to go through and doesn’t last forever. Thank you for this video 😊

Love those elf bite sized blushes but they are being discontinued! 😭 they only have a couple of shades still on their website. They're my favorites!

How about changing your blush out every 2 weeks or so to get more use out of your collection? I change my makeup every season to use different colors. Blush, eyes, lips get changed around the solstices. Where I live has 4 distinct seasons so it’s fun to plan. I also use makeup completely. It lasts a long time sometimes.

If you mix bb powder pink and pale pink it makes the best muted pink color! Also fresh melon in the pot rouge is such a lovely shade

I’ve been having a rough couple of weeks. Finally started therapy. Long story short im exhausted. I saved this video on my weekend play list, now I’m going to go through my makeup and do inventory of what I have while I watch. It will be a good distraction and help me feel more organized.

Am I just old and overly concerned about the environment and over consumption? Maybe I am 😂 I’m so genuinely curious to know what others think. If it takes at least a year to pan a blush, then Lauren has over 300 years of blush 😳 To put that into perspective, the English first settled Australia 236 years ago.

I feel like it may be easier to get rid of blushes if you group them by colour instead so you can choose one or two in each specific shade AND so you know exactly how many you have of each colour
