Now Crimson Rocks had to grow on me as i didn't get and left it for like 6 months and came back too it, the first spray i was like OMG this perfume was spray in the wrong season when i got it this time i sprayed in towards then end of Fall and that's when i fell in love with this mystical dark perfume, Amouage is a fragrance house that isn't for the faint of heart but i'm exploring it slowly.
Same! That first spray of Crimson Rocks I was taken aback, but it quickly became a love, especially on the dry down. Magnificent! 💖🥰
I really want to try the Guidance flanker, but that price is straight up disrespectful😂 I’ll have to wait for it to hit the discount sites

It might be a while.. Guidance has been out for a whole year and has only appeared on [One] site.
The DUA dupe is quite nice! give it 30 days and for the price the OG Guidance is divine.
The versions of the fragrances that have the numbers on them (Honour 43, Guidance 46, Dia 40, etc) are in the Exceptional Extraits collection. The number represents the percent of perfume oil in the formula. The ones without the numbers are EDPs, which classically means there's between 15-20% oil concentration. However Amouage main collection and Secret Garden collection EDPs generally have 20% oil concentration, and the Odyssey and Library collections are EDPs between 25%-35% oil concentration. Then they have attars which are 100% perfume oil.

Hello Veronica, I have a lot of respect for this house, for its uniqueness and art, for its amazing performance but 80% I find challenging, 10% I can wear, and 10% I just can’t. I have and love Guidance, Honor, Lilac Love, Material, and Overture. Speaking of bizarre weirdness, I find Interlude and Myths most disliked by me.
I’m really curious about Guidance 46 but maybe next year (at Jomashop hopefully 😄)

So happy you did this! I started trying Amouage perfumes and sometimes regret that....they are so pricy! But after trying some decants from scentsplit, Im so happy I did. I respect this house for being so different and unique. They are so brave for trying something different. Sometimes their notes sound so off, and you can't imagine they mix well, and then magic starts. I couldn't get used to Material, Blossom love, or Guidence, although I really tried. My absolute favorite is Honour woman and Love tuberose. Absolutely stunning. Also Potrayil is gorgeous but for me, its a heavy jasmine with tobacco and a bit more mature but so beautiful and long lasting. On my wanting list is Ashore. So beautifully blended. Jasmine and salty beach smell. I want to try the Lilac one. Honour 43 is a stronger and longer lasting flanker of the original, but for me, it is not worth the extra price tag for what it is. You're good with the original. Thanks again for a super great video!

@@YonathanLinder-yd7sz totally agree with your take on Honour 43. You don’t need both. H43 is more rounded and smooth. Perhaps a little deeper, but quieter. Standard Honour projects better and is still very long lasting. ❤️

Honor Woman reminds me of Jador, very similar smell. Have you tried Epic Woman in the dark green, emerald colored bottle. That one is very nice, nuclear like most Amouage(s)!😊

I’m wearing Sunshine Woman today and it’s a gorgeous perfume - sunny and warm. Bracken Woman is another favorite - it’s very green on me, so I layer it with berry-fruity perfumes like Khair Fusion. My other favorites are Love Tuberose, Honour Woman, and Love Delight. Reflection Man is absolutely wonderful on my husband. ❤❤❤

I’m a longtime Amouage Stan. It’s my house. I have 29 full bottles and a good dozen decants of those I don’t have.
I mainly wear the woman’s line but also have some favourites in the Library Collection (old shape bottles).
I giggled over our two “no” fragrances. For me it’s Bracken that (while I love green) gives me an almost nose watering green cleaning product scent nearly identical to a spray n wipe I used during Covid days. The berries just don’t get a look in. While Myths is in my top 10 of forestry, sunshine, dappled sunlight beauties is I wear a lot early spring through to fall.
My favs are Opus XII Incense rose (spicy Smokey incense that sits over a sweet but always present rosewater), Epic, Guidance, Portrayal, Love Mimosa, Sunshine, Beach Hut, Opus III (beautiful floral mimosa heaven), Opus VI (Amber that rivals Le Lion) Myths. I have so many including Memoir, Fate, Overture etc that can move around depending on the time of year.
I adore Love Delight - thick, lightly sweet, fruity and has gorgeous green edges that keep it interesting. It’s not easy to get here and stupidly priced that I’m going to enjoy my decant and wait.
I have a good 10 or so others from this house I’d love to own. By far my most loved house. ❤️
PS two that have changed a lot that if you can you should seek older formulations of (due to the IFRA changes I believe) are Dia (you want the older bottle with the gorgeous frosted plastic fretted cap - click not not magnetic) and Gold - older non magnetic caps. Much better wearing experience.

Hello Veronica, while i agree with you for most it's an inexpensive way to get the dupe instead of kicking out money for the OG, I have some of said dupes but i also have the OG's some are spot on like 98% some like 75% for me it was fun to try them out, ok back to the video let's see what your showing us today.
Me too, I buy some dupes and some OG! I don’t want to pay $$$$ for something I may not like! Yes, dupes are not quite the same but some are amazing!

I only have one Amouage fragrance, and that is Honor 43! Love ❤️. I don't know what the original smells like, but the flanker is straight from the pearly gates.

I have a decant of Lilac Love on the way, Love Tuberose is nice but it made me sneeze everything time i wore it and i don't know why, The OG Guidance is truly beastly i don't think we needed a flanker this soon nor at the price tag of $500 plus, I gotten to the point in my perfume journey i don't feel the need to have every flanker or every new fragrance that comes out.

Bianco latte makes me sneeze every time I spray it unless I hold my breath and walk away before breathing😅 love delight will be my first from the house and love tuberous to sample. I got to choose with it and can’t wait.🧡😁

Oh you have to love old school chypres in order to like Myths. Old gals like me who love Aromatics Elixir will adore Myths, otherwise... that fragrance will be a tough pill to swallow.
And the color of Crimson Rocks is reminiscent of the old Revlon color Cherries in the Snow!

I also love Myths Woman. I'm sure it's because I love chypres, but even more because I love all scents green and earthy. Sadly though, because I know how poorly many people take it, I consider it a "Personal" scent, to be worn on days I am not out in the public.
I've been playing around with some of my samples as you're talking.. sprayed Blossom Love as you described it and wow I think I need to be further into my perfume journey to appreciate this one! I'm just a wittle baby 🥹😇😆 All I'm getting is indolic florals.. 😅 I also found a sample of Epic woman and sprayed it on the other hand ..it is interesting.. has the blue tansy minty greenness with rose. I liked Material.. I remember the opening was giving me chocolate devil's food cake with cherry filling. ❤ but then it did get a little resin-y for me. A very interesting brand! Both were blind buys and loves at first sniff (Material and Overture). I like amber, leather, incense and spice! A co-worker wears Crimson Rocks and I like it. That may be my next Amouage purchase or Honour. I have the dupe (Bayn Al Asrar) for Guidance and love it, but kinda scurrred to purchase the original.😀 - Ms. Charlette

When I saw your beautiful nails, I remembered that I had a manicure appointment so I had to stop the video😂😂. I love this house and I have Blossom Love, Guidance and Love Delight😍😍. Hi, Veronica. Thanks, again for your video. I once got a sample of an Amouage sample, one of the library ones. I wish I knew which, but I had such a strong negative reaction that I almost instantly threw it out. I couldn’t imagine any of my friends liking it! I have tried Amouage Sunshine and can see it growing on me. I am wearing Material right now. I can see liking it on a man, but not for me. The spiciness is strong for me. I am wearing it now for about 10 minutes. All the best to you!

I bought 5 mens Amouage fragrances and 4 womens and have come to the conclision that many of the women's just aren't "pretty" or "feminine" enough so I am going to sell most of them. I'm sure Guidance 46 will be a big hit just like the OG. If L'Oreal buys Amouage then it'll just be another brand that "bites the dust". Good Video ❤❤
20% of my collection is "women's" fragrances.. I don't wear them but if I like how they smell I buy them and keep them in my collection. I eventually gift some of them to female friends, too. I just don't know that any of my female friends will like the Amouage fragrances becuase they're not "feminine" enough.. so I am going to sell most of them.. but I will keep Overture and Lineage 😊

The numbers in from of the name of the fragrance indicates the level of perfume oil concentration for that formulation.
My favorite Amouage are Purpose and Guidance. Purpose was a love at first sniff and it is still my favorite unique and mysterious fragrance.

Amouage is a bit challenging for me . I liked interlude woman and lilac love , but not enough to get a bottle. I Looooove Sunshine Woman, which I have a bottle of. Blossom love was too sweet. Epic woman smelled like a dogs butt to me 😅 literally every time I spray my sample on my hand to give it a chance, I forget about it and then ask my dogs why their ass stinks! Only to remember I sprayed Epic Woman 😂

Amouage is out of my price range. And, by that I mean I can afford a bottle or 7. I just can not bring myself spending over $100 on a bottle of perfume. I wish I could because there are a few from many different houses that I love and have bought decants of. When it comes to biting the bullet and buying the full bottle I just can’t!
I love handbags and don’t have a problem biting the bullet when I find one I love. I love makeup and clothes, too! I adore fragrances I just can’t spend a lot on them. Idk why!
It’s just not your priority-where you like spending your money! It wasn’t mine either & now I’m an addict & my entire budget goes to fragrances😂
Hey Jacki! 💖🥰 I understand! We all have a tolerance level for pricing on certain products and there's nothing wrong with that. Thankfully, there are numerous gorgeous fragrances at $100 or lower. I'm that way with certain things.

Ma’am Portrayal is not gummy, you must be smelling tuberose that has a slight bubblegum smell, but truly it’s all JASMINE. With a hint of tobacco and resins. It’s beautiful! DIA is absolutely beautiful and elegant, fresh and full of aldehydes. Love Tuberose is absolutely stunning! Thanks for the review of the house.

I love Amouage, the quality is real I love Honor 43, Overture and Lyric. Journey is a journey for my I don't understand if I like it but I am addicted to Journey and in this hit is like refresh me and from all my perfums my daughter love Jorney and Sunshine in my skin she always said smell s like a vacation in a luxurious resort 😊 I have others that I like a lot but My holiday one is Honor 43 and I just can not understand the hipe of Guidence for some reason remains my a lot of Posibilitis from the bottle bout smell like sisters I live posibilities in my skin but not Guidence. Omg I loved this! I have been focusing on getting to know Amouage over the past few weeks so most of these are fresh on my mind, was fun trying to guess your top 10.Very surprised by your number 1. Although I love it too, didn't expect it to be very popular. I am obsessed with all 4 of the Odyssey collection, they stir so much memory and nostalgia for me.
The magic of Overture is in the dry down for me. I am falling more and more in love with Love Delight...just hesitating to pay the AUD $600, longevity and sillage could be a lot better.... The one time our opinions diverge is on Blossom Love...for whatever reason I HATE it. The amaretto cherry blossom combo is just not for me. Need to get my nose on to Beach Hut, sounds amazing.

I have 9 Amouage fragrances and Sunshine was my first purchase. At first I thought “what the heck is this?” I put it to the side for months then came back to it and it’s now a Love. It’s an interesting take on Vanilla with almond and Spicy nuances

Bracken was interesting but not full bottle. For me, it was fruits sitting in a fragrant woody forest. I have Blossom Love and love it. I want Lilac Love and a few more.

Hey Veronica I have huge respect 🙏 for this house and their artistic perfumery. Guidance (OG) and Sunshine are my loves/favorites. I have probably 10 large decants and have tested probably another 10. I still struggle with Lineage!! 😩 And I typically like the unusual stuff. I dunno, will keep trying b/c yep my nose/wearing experience changes. I just received large 10ml decants of Opus XII Rose Incense and Overture; look forward to wearing them when the heat breaks a bit (I guess Nov? 🤣) Sunshine Man is discontinued I believe…but damn is that one an absolutely gorgeous wearable aromatic vanilla! I have tried Lineage soooo many times at the perfume shop and I still haven't fallen for it. I think it's just the aquatic nature of it...I generally hate aquatics. My faves are Guidance, Lilac Love, and Epic. (I also wasn't the biggest fan of Dia although I totally see why people love it). Really enjoyed the video and there are a few you talked about I look forward to trying! Also look forward to trying the Guidance flanker so hope to see your review on that one day. 😁

Good morning, Veronica! Well, it took two samples to realize that I do l love Guidance, but the price of the Amouage house stops me in my tracks. But I do watch for used bottles, just in case! After your review, I want to try Lineage, Beach Hut (I love woody/unique fragrances) and Crimson Rocks (Is it just because I love the bottle?😄). You had me at “Christmas”. The color reminds me of watermelon. I always seem to be drawn to the scents that are not mass appealing , which can be a plus, because sometimes people are trying to get rid of blind buys. I wear fragrances for my own experience, so I don’t care that much if they are “popular”. The bottles are gorgeous!
Crimson Rocks is color Crimson or maybe a Carmìn in Spanish :)

Hi Veronica! My favorites, hands down, are Memoir and Lyric Woman. Although I also have and love Ashore, Interlude, and Guidance. I've tried Bracken - unfortunately it smells awful on me. Intriguing on paper, not on my skin. I'm eying Overture and Epic, as well as Crimson Rocks and Sunshine. I've fallen hard for Amouage.

Nice review, Veronica. I own 3 Amouage Fragrances (Sunshine, Love Tuberose, and Material) I love them. I sampled Lilac Love, Love delight and Guidance- I have to say that I have the first 2 in my wishlist, but Guidance I passed. I can understand the love for it, but there is something in it that gives me nausea.

I’m always so surprised that no one ever mentions Beloved Woman. It’s incredible and I will never be without it in my collection. I get so many compliments when I wear it - especially when layered with Molecule 01. I think I’ve only ever seen one RUclipsr mention it!! You should definitely get a sample to try!!

Amouage is one of my favorite houses and Bracken Portrayal Figment Interlude Jubilation Ubar Overture Epic and Crimson Rocks and Fate woman are a love. I have tried the men’s and they are nice I think the women’s lean more unisex almost masculine.

I began accumulating these early on. I have a few attars but most of them were purchased more than a decade ago. I do love a few of the men’s versions. Gold man is a long time love. I prefer Bracken Man to Bracken Woman. I love Dia Man and Woman but my versions are very old. I will probably pick up a few of the newer fragrances on the grey market. I am interested in Love Tuberose, Interlude 40 for Man, Lineage and Guidance.

Ooh-this was a perfect mid week house review of my favorite. The strange thing about this house is I mostly don’t like them when I try them. I let the samples sit for a while, revisit and then I love them. Día was one. I was underwhelmed and confused. But after the 3rd sampling my nose perceived a gorgeous balance of aldehyde top notes with a mouth watering oris, creamy sandalwood and incense. Is it weird that some notes like oris make my mouth water? It’s in my top 10 and one I look forward to wearing. Amouage does incense so well! I want to add love delight and lineage to my collection. I can appreciate Guidance but it’s too overwhelming. I wonder if the new one would be more tolerable. Imitation was a straight no for me. So many to try, so little time!

Crimson Rocks bottle is magenta colored. Portrayal is fantastic beast mode for JASMINE lovers! I was very surprised I didn’t care for Blossom Love (wish I did because I love the pink bottle!) Didn’t care for Honour Woman, Mimosa nor Lineage (but I don’t care for aquatics.)

Great video! I really 🩷 Amouage fragrances. My favorites are: Material, Memoir Woman & Overture Woman. I really like Love Delight too but it reminds me of Memo Paris Marfa. Sunshine Woman is OK but it’s not full bottle worthy for me. I’m curious about Crimson Rocks I need to buy a decant.

I love Amouage and most of the fragrances I have from them are part of the Garden Collection. I own Love Tuberose, Lilac Love, Love Delight, Sunshine Woman and Guidance. The more beast mode fragrances are not for me with the exception of Guidance. Love this one and I’m waiting for my decant of Guidance 46. I was also able to grab Love Delight for a steal on Jomashop (it was only $228).
