    Somehow I have the feeling your channel will become huge soon enough. I want to keep this post for posterity! Keep up the good work! :)

    Hi do you offer one on one tutoring, maybe via a zoom phone call or something ?

      I do not strictly speaking what would you be looking for?

    All great but what if I want to add a waypoint in the approach after I have keyed in the dep and arr? I type in the waypoint I want then click the waypoint I want it in front of but it says not found or deletes the wp.

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  Год назад

      Fairly rare that that needs to be done but it should allow you to enter extra WP's. If it says not found it might be worth checking your navdata is up to date (CRJ navdata has to be updated separate to the base sim). I haven't used the CRJ in months though so I will double check when I can as it should let you insert waypoints wherever you want and not delete others!

      Jeremy, I just gave this a quick try - all working fine on my end adding fixes in an approach. Recommend you check your navdata!

    Can you explain how to enter a squawk code to interact with ATC? I also for some reason can’t here ATC communicate with my aircraft?

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  3 года назад

      Hey Brian, sure! Either use the 'Radio' page in the FMS and enter underneath 'ATC1' or alternatively use ATC field on the radio tuning unit further down on the centre console. I rarely use the in-game ATC at all so can't really comment but what I will say is there's no way to properly 'file' your flight plan with the in-game ATC with the CRJ due to the fact it is using custom code for it's flight plan manager within the FMS meaning the sim cannot actually see what route you want to fly. That may be a contributing factor, though you might also just need to play with the VHF1/2 knobs below the RTU.

    Quick question, inputting KDFW I make a mistake and put in KDFE. How do I erase the E and correct it. I thought hitting clear would do this but I can't get it to work.

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  3 года назад

      Just enter it again, you should be able to paste it over what's already there.

    If you maintain that level of quality in your videos and instructions, I promise you, this channel will be one of the top in the Flight Sim community.
    Thanks for the efforts man :)

    Excellent tutorial of the CRJ700 FMC! A classic FMC layout is always the best - I am never getting used to the Airbus FMC which has no EXEC button for enter/saving/finishing the input :D

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  2 года назад

      Thank you Julia! I hope it helped. Yeah I do like the FMC in the CRJ it feels quite intuitive!

      @@BobbyFuzzy Oh yes, but it took me two full days of studying videos and writing down the system layout of the FMC - now I can finally fly and navigate an airliner! Which means not only the CRJ 700 but also the FlyByWire Airbus (and the oncoming PMDG Boeing 737) will need a lot of attention and training videos now ;)

    For some reason when inputting FP waypoints I am getting “not in database” error. I am using SimBrief

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  3 года назад

      Strange - not had this issue myself. Is your SimBrief AIRAC cycle up to date?

    • @biketimist6943
      @biketimist6943 3 года назад +1

      Thats due to the AIRAC cycle being out of date. Solve it by making a DCT route to the next waypoint

    My interg lights won’t work for some reason any suggestion?

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  3 года назад

      The overhead integral lights are a bit dim so they might not show up unless it’s totally dark. Other ones I’ve not had any issues with. Also I think the knob is not really a brightness knob it’s more of an on/off knob so make sure you’ve got the knob turned all the way up!

      @@BobbyFuzzy it’s the identical instructions. Route and all

    • @BobbyFuzzy
      @BobbyFuzzy  7 месяцев назад

      I did use his videos as a reference (be stupid not to - he flies the aircraft, I don't) but the main source was the manual that comes with the addon, hence the references to page numbers in the corner of the video. The manual is also the source of the route.
      My channel was a launch partner for this aircraft and I created these videos on request by Aerosoft, before the aircraft was released to the public (much like The Dude did) so I used the best sources available at the time as I wanted to make the most true to life instructions as I could.
      That being said when it comes to realistic operation of an airliner in a sim, I'd probably be a bit more concerned if my instructions weren't identical to the real CRJ pilot, no?
