- This is the story of The Warrior's greatest comeback.
After tearing his tricep at World's Strongest Man, Laurence Shahlaei announced his retirement from international strongman competition. 1 year later, he performed the unthinkable in front of 10,000 strongman fans at Europe's Strongest Man.

I never knew his story, I just thought he once had the deadlift record (I didn't get into strongman until 2017). This mini doc was very inspirational and made me respect the man more than I did before. Great job!
Great moment. Big Loz is counted out by many but on his day, no injuries which is rare with Loz. He can give anybody a run for their money, especially if there's a yoke and a frame carry in the mix!!!

@@quelandil5738 He was trying to put a show for the crowd, he said it himself. But yes quite silly but Loz likes to entertain. He's a fantastic squatter but suppose he just lost his mind that day.

Great athlete, great sport, commentator, Dad...seems like an all round great guy who deserved to win! Used to scare the hell out of me as a kid when I watched him at World's on tv though xD

Loz îs one of my all time favorites. He is a great ambassador to the sport and just one hell of a lovely human being.
Big loz was always my personal favourite strongman, shame he never had more luck injury wise as he could of possibly made it as worlds strongest man 💪 👍

Absolutely fantastic recap of Europes Strongest Man 2013. Watching Big Loz again was amazing. A fantastic strongman and a fantastic human being. And now a fantastic supporter/promoter of strongman through his own RUclips channels with Auntie Liz. Legend ! It’s so unfortunate he had some serious injuries during his careers. But his strength of mind and determination saw him through. This Europe’s recap shows Big Loz at his best, the embodiment of all that is good in strongman.

Fucking amazing. Few people actually understand the mental fortitude that has to be maintained in a competition, if you survive the training.

Because he just assumes he will win so he'll say whatever he wants to make himself look good. Then he loses and refuses to walk the walk. Thor does it all the time and those who notice have lost all respect for him. Words are empty when you don't back them up.

What an excellent video. The editing was absolutely top notch and Loz's story is exceptionally inspiring. What a true underdog tale. Big Loz for sure deserves a documentary. He's like the Michael Bisping of strongman (a normal dude that was written off countless times but was able to succeed by his character and strength of will). Incredible. God bless.
Despite the injuries, he bounced back and defeated hafthor and won the competition. So in a way that's as epic as winning WSM.
I have so much respect for laurence...he has suffered various injuries over the time of his strongman carrier and yet he is still going strong...huge respect brother

Win or lose,nobody can ever say that loz didn't always give it 100% .hes walking proof that if you keep pushing and believing in yourself then you can make your dreams come true,imagine how many times hes dreamt of that moment and then to actually do it,mad respect to a fellow Wiltshire man
This was a great contest as it showed one event slip up is all it takes! Thor looked OFF on that car carry and Loz was there to capitalize having one hell of a comp.
