This topic isn’t discussed enough especially for the darker skinned. you explained so well & your make up is beautiful. Sometimes even in like a sephora I’ve never gotten it explained this way Ty for sharing
My veins are so green under my skin that people always notice it, which is warm, BUT neutral always look much better on me than the warm toned products.
Neutral probably fits best because your undertone is olive. So you probably have a even mix of the cool and warm that olive can be. I struggle with the same thing. My mua rest in heaven 🙏🏽 told me to stop getting so much warm makeup and go with the neutral cool in the winter and more neutral warm in the summer.
Love you sis😘 there are few sistas on youtube our complexion. The darker berries have unique issues thanks to our melanin. You address available options on your canvas and I LOV IT. All fads do not work on our canvas. Love ya, bless ya, and keep those vids coming. God bless and keep you🙏🏾👍🏾👩🏾🦳
I just went to Sephora just yesterday. The tool told the makeup artist I was a warm skin tone (I’m specifically a warm olive) and she took the “liberty” of telling me that I’m a cool and kept suggesting foundations that were super red on me just because the shade “matched.”
I liked this video I feel like I have normal skin but it’s difficult to find affordable luxury/high end skincare products for your specified skin type ❤ but I like how you explain everything so well in this, bravo 👏l
I Def can't see my veins and the sephora in my area knows nothing about my chocolate skin. Def can't see my veins, so imma go with neutral like you cause I'm dark like u maybe darker even. ❤
Great video sis! True. We all have our makeup journey. I find it difficult to purchase the right foundation. I found the right foundation and brand recently and.......girl it works period!!! I like the natural finish look. You're amazing! Keep up the amazing work!!!
Hi all! Just wondering do any of you dark skin ladies ever notice the lower part of ur face seems darker ? I feel like I may be neutral, my veins are green and I always noticed a red tone and I’m wondering if that would be considered pink .
I have no more money to waste so do you have recommendations on the cheapest products to achieve a full face and also the stores do not like people testing out products or returning after testing them so any advice and Sephora sold me products that where not my color.
These days. Everyone is wearing oily skin as trend . I don’t like it ! Talking about they glowing . My daughter is on that skin care tree d wearing skinny ass skin
I bought a sample from the lady Gaga collection and all tree shades are off . The lightest is orange . The dark looks like contour . I picked deep . Eveb after watching this I’m still confused . My daughter says I’m nuetral skin tone and that i ordered too dark of a color
Undertone: Golden orange AND green-gray... I don't even--someone please help me lol Combo to Oily skin but prone to dehydration and fine lines, don't really get acne unless pms hormones. Skin shade: i think medium-deep or just aka dark(?)
Sounds like you're a warm olive. I'm a cool olive. I recommend a neutral warm foundation. If it's just a smidge too yellow set it with a cool toned powder
I've been struggling with this a lot! I realized I honestly don't know what my skin tone looks like

I don't know if my skin is oily or oily and dry when I wake up my face is so oily and there's so much acne I am so lost lol
When you wake up, is your skin oily all over or just in certain spots?
