Many foundations only use a combination of white, black, yellow and red pigment. This means that if you have olive or blue undertones, foundations probably won’t match perfectly because you need some blue pigment in your foundation mix. Make Up Forever sells Aqua XL Color Paint in green and blue to add to your foundation to mix for a perfect match. I bought it in blue and it worked.
I'm Brazilian and this channel was the only one that really helped me to figured out this topic haha. Your videos are just perfect, I love the way you explain things. Oh, and my favorite flower is Cherry Blossom 🌸. :p Thank you!!
I often sit and listen to your content as I work. It’s very good and I’m so happy I found your channel!! I love yellow flowers so I’ll leave a large Allamanda for you to put on your window sill.☺️
Gosssh I'd kill for a Soft Autumn video for dark/brown skinned women since all get examples I find online aren't really helpful! Thank you for working on this series!
Flower 🌹 Pink roses and lilac Definitely love the breakdown of the video. 💕 I truly believe I’m a warm tone. But we’ll see. Do you do a virtual or in person consultation?
@@cocoastyling Remember to do a video for black women on their weight loss journey, how they can look good and find the right fit for their body types 💚
I just got this foundation from The Body Shop it's Tan 2W, my concealer is Tan 3W. I was trying to find what tone range they are but it's not showing on their website. Both are very light tone so I think they are a warm tone but I'm not 100% sure. It matches my face exactly. When I put it on I can't tell I'm wearing it. Tho I don't know if that will change when summer comes back around. I'm new to this whole makeup thing. I've just recently started learning so I'm not used to the terms yet.
It could be, however their palette probably wouldn’t have the warmer colors from the dark autumn palette and have a few more from the dark winter palette
What the calculus is going on? You lost me at Warm + Neutral= Neutral Warm. Tee Hee Yellow tea rose is my favorite flower. I wonder can a dermatologist just tell you. sigh! My vein on the underside of my wrist look blue but sometime it looks green depending where I looking at it. Jeez Does this change with the season since we tan during the summer? Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Don't worry haha That's a formula to find your undertone when you mix foundations! The undertone doesn't change with the season, but they darker you are the more colors you can handle.
I know that you've been watching your analytics and are becoming more aware of who your audience consists of but I'm deeply concerned about how these observations may be leading you (consciously or subsoncsciously) to change the original direction of this channel. I've been watching you from the beginning and one of the BEST things about your channel is how you've dedicated your talent to content that pertains to beige, brown and black women. What I tell anyone who will listen is that unlike other channels you seemingly know the difference between what is considered dark in OUR community vs. what white people mistakenly consider to be dark. Yet, I'm looking at this thumbnail and notice for at least the 2nd time that you've labeled a less than dark skinned woman as being dark when she CLEARLY is not. I also know that you want to make everyone feel welcomed but the reality is that many of the people that you may be trying to welcome already have more than their share of places to go where they are welcomed, celebrated and have had their colors analyzed through the centuries. We women come to you because you have been doing for us what NO OTHER channel saw fit to do. That is what makes your channel unique and ultimately shared. Again, I'm not saying that women don't come in all shades but it feels like erasure when we're referring to light-skinned women as brown or dark-skinned women so I'm hoping that you're not letting the analytics cast a white haze over the direction of your content because you think that's what will drive in more views. The reality is that even though some of your viewers aren't black women, it was content about actual black women that attracted them to your channel in the first place. Just something to think about. As always - be well and be safe.
Cast your vote for my Q&A / Style reveal! (🍭/🌴)
- At15k - 20k subs (🌴)
- Wait until the end of the color series and have a longer Q&A session (🍭)
🍭 makes more sense chronologically, but either would be lovely. 💖
🍭 glad to have you back! ❤️❤️❤️
I would like some soon but I think we should wait til the end. 😁💕

Bubblegum pink is a warm pink, not a cool pink because bubblegum pink has an orange base, not a blue base.
This is the only channel that made it possible for me to understand the vein test for black women :)
I've been using your guides to revamp and rebrand my style and wardrobe!
This is so under rated-

Classic Gothic can you do a styling video for that? Something simple not over-the-top and that can go great with like business attire
That's a great idea! It might take me a longer time because I might have to take my own pictures

I have a warm undertone in the center of my face but a cool tone on the outside. My chest is also warm. Which one should I go by? Helpppp 😭
Lol same for me, im confused, or I'm either a neutral skin tone. But theres like no way to see what season you are if you're neutral which sucks

Is it possible for a person who has cool hair(jet black), warm brown skin and cool eyes(dark blue), to be a dark autumn?
