Hopefully this summer, we’re still looking for a 2.3 Master or equivalent but not found the right one yet 😢
I’m doing a Caddy Maxi micro camper and funnily enough put the sliding door window in yesterday. I used an air nibbler to cut it out which worked really well.

Sliding door window is worth it in some vans to help with the dreaded blind spot.
Yesss, always comes in handy unless you forget to open the curtain 😂
Nice work although I'd have gone for one of those Cassette Camper Windows with flyscreen and blinds integrated. My Movano/Master came with the same windows you're installing but it's a bit of a faff installing curtains/flyscreen later on
That would have been awesome! We have always loved the idea of having them but unfortunately they’re just a little over our budget and as this is going to be a rental van it just made sense to stick to the affordable option 🤗.

I so wanna do something similar but afraid of costs and not getting the quality to where I want it, still awesome to see you two getting it done :)
It’s a big project to take on so it can be very daunting to commit to. One thing we have found is by taking the build slow, you have time to source second hand things/ free wood. Also as each month goes by, you’ll get another pay check to help fund 😂. As for the skills, we had none or had done anything like this before. It’s definitely something you can learn on the job, especially as there are so many helpful RUclipss out there that you can use for reference 🤗
I'd love to live in a van, but I have a job as a bartender at a big city so, having a van and always sleeping in the same city would be dumb...
I've dreamed of bartending out of my van, going around to different beaches everyday, selling cocktails out of the sliding door (I once rented a van that had the kitchen counter covering half the door opening, facing outside, that's what gave me the idea) but the laws of my country make it impossible... 😭
I think that sounds like an incredible plan, also going to all the festivals. I love ideas like this, I suggest a twin sliding door so one can be used as a proper bar 🙌🏼
