We still need to sort a fridge for the kitchen, we have only ever gone for the Webasto Cruise Isotherm but interested to know if you have other recommendations?

In regard to the door at the end of the kitchen unit, that you want to add shoe storage to, just a suggestion, if you hinge the door on the right, it would then open up away from the wall and mean you could keep anything attached to it on it when it's opened up. Just a suggestion 🙂
Good suggestion, you have to open the van door to get to anything either way
That’s a good shout! I know I’m 2 months to late to the comment but I did read it. I haven’t changed the hinges yet as I haven’t popped anything on the doors as we’ve ended up with so much storage 😂. However, if I do and it gets in the way, I will probably do exactly as you’ve suggested, thank you 🙏🏼

It might have been nice to have the gas hob diagonal - across the corner?
Initially that was the plan 😂. But you know what happens with plans… they never go to plan. We couldn’t do it diagonal due to the framework underneath ☺️
Not sure about your hob if its the right way round for safety reasons easy for kids to turn gas on love your design looks great
The hobs can’t come on without a match or lighter so it’s unlikely it will be accidentally turned on. Plus it’s good to have the jobs at the front so when it’s ignited your arm isn’t stretched over the flame 🤗

Hey, it’s called proplex and you can get it from any DIY store like Wickes and B&Q 😊
That hob is defo a gas hob. It just has the plug for the electric ignitor so you got the correct one. You can choose not to use the electric ignitor and just use a lighter to light it
Thank you for confirming 🙌🏼 when I last bought it, there was no plug so it threw me off 😂. Too much thinking is required for a van build, turns my brain to mush 🫠

Did you attach your unit frames to the walls?
Yess 😊 all units are screwed in to the walls, floor and the next unit 😊
Do you guys prefer to use vinyl flooring over real wood?
We’ve used laminate, stick on laminate and lino. We prefer lino as it’s lightweight but laminate for its durability 🤗
Don’t refund the hob! I have exactly the same one, the plug is literally so you can have it plugged in and it’ll do the electronic ignition and also shut off if the flame blows out but you can just use it as is, you could even cut the plug off, I’ve used it unplugged for years 😊 it works without being plugged in just as any normal gas hob would

I nearly did! This hob never use to come with the lead so I was totally thrown off 😂
