I picked up 4 Native American made sterling silver rings from my local thrift store with beautiful turquoise stones that are badly tarnished for a mere $10.00. I was looking for the best way to clean the rings, and I knew I could count of Antiques Arena to school me on how to do it. So easy. Ordered a bottle of Goddard's just now on Ebay, and can't wait to shine them up. Antiques Arena is like therapy. :) Always enjoy the vids.

Acid test/strong magnet test/identify stamps, re-round bands on smooth ring mandrel with nylon hammer, dremel radial brush x3 disc stack resurfacing from 220 grit to 400,1000, then 2000 then blitz silver polish under warm water with electric toothbrush rinse also clean stone backs, air dry, record; stamp, weight, ring size, band width & thickness, stone dimensions... ready to picture and list as fully restored professionally resurfaced.
i started with just tooth paste and added these steps over years to maximize profit.

For the all-silver rings/bracelets, have you ever tried the aluminum foil method/baking soda/hot water method? Definitely wouldn't work on anything with stones, but on all silver, it's great, and you're technically not removing a layer of actual silver.
@@sapphirelewis1389 i used toothpaste for a long time but the $5 bottle of blitz doesn't take reflective smooth surfaces away

Hi Mar, Thank you for your kind comment, since i have had the shop i find i get ticket price 8 out of 10 times , customers dont even ask only trade ask for discount, sometimes i offer it if i feel the sale is in the balance.

I’m planning to sell some Jewellery some of them are stamp 925 which indicates it’s silver but since it’s not tested I’m not sure if I can say it’s silver? Do you guys test your jewellery if yes where do you take them in the UK?
Also I’ve a few gorgeous earrings but they’re second hand, is there any health and safety related to selling second hand earrings that I need to be aware of, obviously I’ve them all cleaned but nothing extravagant.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you put the ring tray on say a plate stand, you'd be able to put more small things in the front.

Hi thank you for your email. I am not a gemologist so not sure what stones are more fragile than others. What I will say is I have used this product on amber and hundreds of different colour stones and never had a problem so I will leave it to you but I think you would be ok.
