Solid plan, sounds well thought out. Only thing I would add is having the switch lead at the yard attach to the outer main at the right end to allow for a run around for the Loco. Basically clockwise running trains will go into the yard head first with no way to get the Loco back out. However thanks for sharing your thought process and this cool plan.

Hi Tory, thanks for the ideas. You can certainly do that. Now it is intended to use the outer ML siding as A/D track.

Hi David, yes I wouldn't make this table top in O scale! However if you have 16x the space of this table top, I can design a great O scale layout.

Yeah, but 2-Rail O is so sexy. I love the idea of running a 2-Rail O scale track lowered and around an HO Train Layout I build one day.

@@ThePTBRULES yeah i know. I think I would go to On3 / On30 sooner. I like narrow guage and it requires less space yet having O scale size of detail.
