I just use my vitamix for everything but I know an immersion blender is definitely more handy in certain situations

I have tried making a shower gel by using 3 oils. I feel a little oil in my hand when trying it. Is it too oily or does it not matter? How to omit the oily as in the result of the shower gel? What ingredient should i add?

@Laura, Hello there! If you don't have an immersion blender or can't afford one, can you just use a whisk or a spoon to blend/mix all of those ingredients together?
Hey! It's funny this is exactly what I use in my body wash, I got the main recipe from Aromahead Institute but added the Glycerin and Vit. E to make it better-is that where you got yours from? Just a few tips for you that I learned from making it. Put everything except aloe vera in, instead of a big bowl, it's best to use container that comes with most emersion blenders, it just wide enough to put blender in but it's really deep... That way you don't get any air bubbles in it at all, and add the aloe vera in very*** slowly! The aloe vera is what makes it clumpy, once it clumps together it's almost impossible to get it smoothed out. I could see where the aloe vera was already clumped in your bowl. Hope that helps!

I tried so many recipes with Castile soap, none of them is actually nice. This is because it's highly abrasive and skin PH is 5.5
I was very inspired to experiment with Castile soap after all the fantastic reviews but nope, skin feel dry and itchy...
I noticed you didn't add distilled water. I didn't like the idea of diluting and then adding thickness. Is it necessary to dilute then?

I usually do glass or metal, but some thicker plastics are safe for essential oils. :)

@@beautybycarlamaria5892 vitamin e is not an actual preservative. It’s an antioxidant. Therefore an actual preservative is needed if you plan on selling this or using it for more than a few days, or else it will grow bacteria inside.

The Shower gel I made was awesome thanks
Tried this recipe..unfortunately, it did not work. The aloe vera makes it white and the immersion blender along with the aloe simply turns it into a frothy foam that is unusable. Even after sitting 24 hours the foam never settles back into a liquid body wash form. Had to dump it down the sink and start over with a new recipe. Notes to DIYers: Aloe vera is best for making foam hand soap. Also, do not use an immersion blender in body wash. Gently stir (but mix well) with a glass rod or something similar to avoid too many foamy bubbles.
It also helps to add it slowly.
Is it safe for external vagina area?
Aloevera is man made tho.. Unnatural...
