Thats a lawyers job though, no matter what the feel about it they are required by law to represent them to the best of their abilities or have their licensed revoked.
@@halflife103 I was about to say that is a good lawyer because he could have got life in prison.
Right
If he was smiling cause he was scared, how come he quit smiling real fast when the judge threatened to throw out the plea deal? Wasnt he scared then?
Because it's a different kind of scared. It's scared, mixed in with nervousness and shame. I deal with traumatized people, so I have to read subtle clues. Look at his hands. You have to look past his bravado act, to see that he is trying to suppress his feelings. You will see it a lot with ptsd sufferers who can't handle what happened to them and are trying to control their emotions and memories...give them a tissue to hold onto and it will slowly be shredded into pieces as you talk to them about what happened. It's tragic all-around. He's a young man who most likely grew up from a baby being brutalized and believed that life was cheap. He lives in a society where money, greed, violence, guns, individualism are paramount and human life is cheap. I feel sorry for him, I feel sorry for the person whose life he took. It was a just result however, he should pay for what he did. I just wish someone with a good heart got to him when he was a child to help him heal so he didn't destroy someone else...several lives if you take into account the poor family of his poor victim.
@biggreenmachine2007 i bet he suffered a great deal of trauma coming up causing his brain to not fully develop. An underdeveloped brain is the cause for some of these animals we see in society. If he has no regard for human life, he needs to be locked up for good still.
Total Control I definitely agree that his smiling in that case (paired with squirming in his seat) was a reflection of both anxiety and the defense mechanisms he has developed over time. My first thought when seeing it was that he is smiling and trying to laugh it off in an attempt to fighting off feelings of shame
