Originating surprisingly from Russia, TSS has transcended borders, captivating audiences with performances across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and their homeland.
Their musical journey took an intriguing turn when their tracks featured in the 20th Century Fox series "Glee," and a captivating documentary titled "Let It Soul" captured the legendary UK funk/library musician, Shawn Lee, recording a new album with TSS in Moscow. The sounds crafted by The Soul Surfers form a rich tapestry that seamlessly weaves through deep funk, lowrider soul, psychedelic rock, and exotic music, leaving an indelible mark on the global music scene.
The Soul Surfers' influence extends beyond the stage, as their music finds a home in various mediums, from TV shows to movies and radio broadcasts across the Earth. Currently, TSS is embarking on new musical ventures, including recording for renowned singers, engaging in ghost productions, and collaborating on an LP with the French library music maestro, Janko Nilovic.
Known as the Funk Wunderkinds of The North, The Soul Surfers are Russia's answer to J.B's, infusing their sound with elements reminiscent of krautrock legends like Can and a myriad of other flavors. Their inaugural release in Detroit at Funk Night Detroit sold out within two days, setting the stage for a prolific discography that includes over 20 45s under different names.

Для разнообразия великолепное буги. В этом смысле ранее уже порадовал Summer Jam (флип). Да и на лонгплее с Янко была замечательная прямая вещь. Но, смотрю, полированное "библиотечное" мещанство надолго поглотило сёрферов 😂 сёдня soul power / we can do some переслушивал - другие люди играли.
Послушай The Para-Lytics - Ghetto Funk. Это от Серферов, в стиле жесткого фанка, как ранние релизы. Вышло недавно.

@@RinatLagavulin-bm4hf это отлично. Как по мне, сила Соул Серферс именно в разносторонности - они могут и дип фанк выдать, и буги, и психоделик рок, много разного. И все круто и самобытно звучит.
