I feel like Norman could have gotten another chaotic evil point for preventing Peter 1 for reaching MJ. She would have died if it weren't for the extra Peters.
Agreed! The call to Action moments are always fun, I can tell Stewart has fun with them. And it's a VERY unique spin on it that I haven't really seen anywhere else!
15:41 I like to think that little goop is another child of Venom, and didn’t go back with them because technically they were born in the MCU universe and not Sony’s Venomvers. But imagine the confusion of that little guy when their parent just disappears in front of them being left to fend for themselves
I would love to see you take a look into some characters from the 2018 She-Ra show! Specifically Catra, Glimmer, Shadow Weaver and Hordak have arcs that would make for interesting alignment journeys!
Not sure when exactly this film is supposed to be set, but 5e came out in 2014, and this film came out 2021, so they should be fully aware of 5e by this point.
Oh, god, the Insomnia Spider-Man games are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Great portrayal so Spidey, great portrayal of Miles, great portrayal of MJ, great stories, great gameplay, etc. I could gush about it for hours. COVER THOSE GAMES, THEY WOULD MAKE GREAT VIDEOS!
I gotta correct one thing, I’m pretty sure the villains (Barring Sandman) all came from the moment they LEARNED Peter is Spidey, not their death. Goblin has his armor and glider intact, so before the final battle. Otto is easy to understand. Sandman asks Peter if he remembers him, so probably the same time as Tobey. Lizard is probably from when he got Peter’s camera. Electro is moments before he dies. Venom was when he was given Symbiote knowledge from the multiverse. Also remember that they all seem to appear in a place relative to where they were. Goblin is in his armor flying around, Otto was probably near the docks, Sandman was outta NYC because he’s on the run, Lizard sewers, Electro power lines because of how he was dying, Venom in Mexico.
If your Peter tingles, you should talk to your Doctor about Abinatrax. You should not take Abinatrax if you're nursing or pregnant. If you're experiencing visions of future events, you should stop taking Abinatrax. Talk to your Doctor today!
I think a good video to do would be the villains especially Doc Oct in Spiderman PS4. That game flirts with him being a good guy and when he flips you as the player and Peter Parkers see it as your fault. Its heartbreaking and that end scene with him is just so powerful.
Well, his first natural instinct is to rob people I understand he had a sick daughter a lot of people do however most don’t think rob an elderly and then run after you gun him down “on accident “ even though his fingers on the trigger and pointing the gun at him lol
Everything he did was because he was desperate. He wasn’t evil, he just lacked the resources and abilities he needed to do things the right way. Honestly, I think that makes him more compelling as an antagonist than, say, Eddie Brock from the same movie, who was just a jerk.
@@Xenobears I disagree. He looks like he can work by supposed be too hard hell even when he had his powers, he could’ve probably done something different in order to make money but instead he immediately goes back to robbing people.
@@Xenobears it’s like wow I have these amazing powers. I could be like a superhero or I could put on shows . There’s a lot of things I could do now gotta go rob people, rob banks put peoples lives in danger you know that kind of thing, but it’s OK because I have a daughter that’s in danger. Never mind daughter that I’ve orphaned. listen dad musi plays when I talk lol
@@nickanderson55 ah, but he was a wanted criminal BEFORE he got powers and wasn’t thinking clearly afterwards. He does eventually get it right, though. He could have totally turned himself in and applied for work after getting out of prison the honest way, but he was stuck in the mindset that he didn’t have legitimate avenues to make money and support his family. Even though his newfound powers should have made that easy.
Great video but I do have to disagree with one thing. Green Goblin and Norman Osborn are CANNONICALLY two separate characters. Yes, they share a body and yes Goblin was created artificially through an experiment but non the less they ARE two separate people. They have their own separate goals, personalities, motivations, body language, memories, and even voices. This is a VERY important distinction to make in an alignment video because, while Green Goblin is able to observe the world through Norman's eye's and take over at will, the reverse isn't true. Norman and the Goblin can, and often DO, disagree and the correct course of action to take and do not agree with the other's actions. In fact, despite the fact that the two are often seen conversing with each other they only agree with each other twice. The first time, when Norman agree's to stay silent on the Goblin's actions when the Goblin points out that if he doesn't he will be punished for the Goblin's crimes and if he DOES the Goblins crimes will only benefit him, and the second time after he realizes Spider's identity and feels betrayed because it is Peter. It is also important to realize that the Goblin and Norman are separate people for an alignment video because, while the Goblin's character is as constant as the north star, the Goblin is able to greatly influence Norman's behavior and thoughts. In fact, I think the two are worthy of their own video so you can see just how great this change is.
I feel like Naofumi from The Rising of the Shield Hero could make for a fairly interesting video! Yeah, you can kind of guess where he would end up, but I would still love to see it!
Ya know. Now that it's officially over, with this movie, wakanda forever, shang chi, black widow, and all the shows it had, I think I really like phase 4. Sure Eternals sucked and the other two movies were good but not great, but I think I like phase 4 about as much as I like phase 1.
I personally disdain Phase 4. The only things that i considered good enough to watch were No Way Home and What If(or at least from episode 3). Outside of that no show or movie even briefly got close to "good". The only stuff i watched besides the already mentioned was Multiverse of Madness(due to the Quentin Tarantino Presents Effect) and my god, does it not just suck but also stablishes so many Multiverse related rules that already break the MCU(seriously, the sole presence of Argentina Chavez is a huge danger already).
No way home is by far my favorite MCU movie, and is actually a contender with Spiderverse for being my absolute favorite, and it's largely the acting, The three Peters, Ock, Electro, MJ, Ned, May, all fantastic, but this film made me LOVE Willem Dafoe. He brought one of the best performances I've seen in years in anything to his role, and I still get chills from the "That's some tingle you have." The shift from Norman to Green Goblin!
Love this video, but I'm not sure if having the Goblin and Norman being the same is fair to the character. The serum gave Norman an alternate personality (Alter) which acts freely of Norman's virtues and beliefs. In Spiderman 1 it's focused on more, but Norman isn't even aware the Goblin exists until Goblin presents himself to reveal he killed the board. Both Norman and the Goblin refer to themselves as a group or whenever be specific about which one it's in the 3rd person (Normans on sabbatical honey). As a character, Norman is a puppet to the Goblin and when Norman breaks the mask in the alley way up to the Octavius mentions "no more darker half" is Norman. The reason I'm fine with Octavius be combined with the AI of the arms is because Octavius doesn't black out when he's using the arms. Otto is aware of what he's doing, he's being manipulated and also puppeted by the arms, but he's still aware of what's happening. Whenever the Goblin is around Norman blacks out completely. When Norman is explaining his confusion at the homeless shelter he says "sometimes I'm not myself. I'm someone else and everytime he's in control I can't remember" which would go with the "What have I done?" line after being cured at the end of NWH. Dafoe is amazing as the Goblin and he always gave the Goblin a crazy face and a confident voice, but Norman is more human and worried. A little detail that Defoe added to Norman's cure scene is as the laughter and smile of the Goblin fades a slow look of confusion pops up on his face before he asking "Peter?" before looking around to see the statue of liberty and his Peter.
I’m curious on how you would rank Dante from Dante’s inferno (the game) as he does terrible things in his past and good things while going through the stages of hell
Neither Sandman nor Lizard died in their movies. Sandman just floated off somewhere and Lizard was cured and sent to prison. Electro however did die before the events of NWH retconned(?) the villains deaths. In Amazing SpiderMan 2 it was explain by Gwen that Electro has a limit to how much energy he could handle. He died when Spider-Man used upgraded webbing to tie him to the grid and pump all of said grids energy through Electro until he overloaded.
I always wish comics were less a pain in the ass to keep track of cause I would love a video on Flash Thompson, Peter's bully/spider Man fan boy turned war veteran turned Agent venom Or superior Spiderman aka, doc oc in Peter's body, who seems to be going to make a appearance in the new spiderverse movie
I feel like it could be fun to see you do a D&D alignment dive into Fran and Teacher/Master from "reincarnated as a sword", no, I'm not just shilling an anime I like based on a manga I love, ok, maybe I am, but shhh
I think this is honestly my favorite mcu movie to date, even if I never watched amazing. Thanks for another fun video guys. Could you guys do Moon Knight instead of She-Hulk? Could be fun dissecting each personality and Khonshu. 😁
I find odd how Heath Ledger's Joker got to be Lawful Evil via staying true to anarchy (of all things) and being an agent of chaos (..of all things), yet there is no a mention of the evil ideals GG follows. *He finds morality to be a sickness. *He wanted his Peter to join him. Out of convenience because he could stop him, yes, but the reasoning and claims used to motivate him were true to his beliefs. *He wanted the S-M villains to stay true/stick to their evil and recognized them as fellow gods that should act as he believes a god should act. *He criticized MCU Spidy for his morality-based choices as a limit he should overcome. *When the latter said he wanted to kill him in a non-righteous way, GG was proud. Not that I think he's LE or anything, I just disagree heavily on that Joker being LE and kindly wonder if there were no double standards. Or what even are the standards, as in what evil ideals are too much evil to not be lawful when followed consistently.
I still don't see why they needed to cure Sandman. He did nothing but help or not get involved with the fighting. He wasn't about to die, he had no mental health issues that would make him a danger to others. All he wanted to do was see his kid. Sandman powers only make that easier, and loosing them makes it significantly harders since he could be arrested since he is an escaped con. Even at the end of Spiderman 3 he didn't die, he just left because he had no real motivation to fight Spiderman to begin with.
"Trying to decide where it goes between actual art and just peak MCU" I absolutely hate this kind of take, personally. As a movie, it is art by definition. It implies there's no such thing as bad art because it can't be art if it's not good in the first place.

The only thing I’m nervous about No Way Home and what it did. It effectively got rid of Ned and MJ from the main stories and such if they keep it permanently no one remembering Peter, which really sucks because no one bounces off eachother quite like Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon. I don’t think they’ll keep the mind wipe permanent though, because it would be, in my opinion, a very bad idea to do so.

I think he meant Amazing Spiderman 2.
May I suggest MCU Loki

I would like to see you do characters from yugioh (the Japanese anime and the manga not the heavily sensor 4KIDS English anime) like Marik Ishtar and Yugi Mutou
Dude sorry for earlier I learned my mistake and I shouldn't judge people for what they watch
Mysterio was probably the worst spider man villain, his motivation was petty, his plan was stupid & the only reason he won was because he died.
Wow I've never been this early
This came out before 5e?...
Time has lost all meaning to me
Personally I'd have rather seen Doc Oc work through the voices at some point in the film.
SPOILER for Spider-Man 2
It was the literal emotional climax (for me) of the 2nd Remi film.
YA GOT YOUR DATES WRONG
