- When this woman spotted a stray pit bull in the middle of a garbage dump, she pulled over and tried to get her into her car but the dog was too scared and ran away. Every single day after that for three weeks, this woman went to the same spot trying to rescue this dog using every method she could think of - and it was so worth it!

Im surprised The dog was so gentle. Even when she was trapped, she didnt show any aggression.

I thought she worked at the vet where she was keeping her so maybe she rescues and homes stray dogs regularly? I could be wrong.
I think she works with Hope for Paws. They're based out of L.A. The vet she brought the dog to, looked just like the place in the hope for Paws videos. If you have never seen any of their videos on YT, you should, they are a fantastic organization that helps so many animals.

To be honest it always kinda ruins these stories for me. These dogs that have been abandoned have had their trust broken before, so you spend weeks regaining it only to give them up, how does that not break their trust again?
I’m not even a fan of pit bulls but this was a beautiful story. Kudos to everyone involved in saving that beautiful dog.

At the end when she realizes this is her forever home she's a completely different dog. She went from living on the streets with her tail tucked in all the time to being able to let go of that fear of humans and loving on them and tail up and waging all the time❤

That woman was amazing going there everyday to get that dog I did that with a cat once and I finally got him after 12 days and he’s at home with me to this day he’s an amazing cat as well. This dog sure got a great family

Xena was the name of my childhood pittie, she was the best dog. She was an aggressive cuddler, wasn't happy unless she was pressed to your side with her face mashed against yours. Still miss that girl.

Once again I have to say how very sad I am for the hundreds of people who have clicked dislike on this video. I'm sorry you're like this.... But my golden retriever lived to be 17. And my pit who we got 11 years ago is still running next to my bike everyday 3 miles...And yes you can give a dog hamburger meat and a bun every week or so, The change in diet is better for them than feeding them the same thing every day for years on end. That can cause allergies and gastrointestinal problems later in life.
PEOPLE CHANGE YOUR DOGS MEAT NOT BRAND EVERY BAG OR 2, Dog will thank you and will live longer. Also RUN THEM!!!
Don't go for a walk.. Either run Or bike with them, They will live longer, And so will you!
