I wore my Jordan 2s Cement gray for 3 weeks in Japan this summer.
I walked an average of 20000 steps everyday in those things. They truly held up and held my ankle and feet intact before I hiked Mt. Fuji.
That being said, I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THESE SHOES! This colorway is amazing for Jordan 2! I agree, probably best ever!
Also Comfort in Jordan 2's have been amazing. LOL. I LOVE how everyone sleeps on 2s. THANK YOU Chris for always doing great reviews on the Jordan 2s!!
Especially as of late, the Jordan 2 retros have been coming with higher quality comfort and material. Please let the world keep sleeping on them. LOL

Not just colorway but the most comfortable 2’s ever. I finally wore them yesterday and I had them on all day long and my toes didn’t hurt at all. Not even pain by the big bone around the big toe and no feeling of my pinky toe about to break off. It felt awesome! And it did not crease at all! And I am a wide footer!
I actually love the comfort of the 2s. Used to never, ever think they were worth it until I tried them in 2016. Maaaan, as a lifestyle shoe, great.

Not a fan of 2s at all, but I agree with you. This is the BEST colorway of this and a perfect transition between the 1 and the 3.
I kept thinking that since I first saw this color way. This color way definitely looks like something that should’ve came out along side the original color. The materials look nice too. These are clean.
Yup. A must cop for me. Been checking for these since I found out it was coming out. I hope this isn’t the one time all the resellers and their moms will go for these because I’m banking on an easy cop (maybe even a double-up) as all my AJ2 acquisitions have been. The AJ2 is worthy of a black cement treatment and these do not disappoint from what I’ve seen so far☝🏾

These Fugazi material's are keep me from wanting it, and I'm sure there are alot of people that are over Jordan's/Nike BS in terms of their Price:Quality ratio. I'm gonna assume if you like em and want them that Resellers won't touch a 2 at this point... but if this was more of a premium build and the buyers wanted it, Reseller's would also be all over it, because that how things work, resellers want what the masses want.

I'm still glad that JB came up with these now in 2023 as this colorway truly deserves the revamped more accurate OG AJ 2 shape. Imagine it would've been horrendous had it been the 2014 release, would've been a waste.

I'm so excited for these, I'm watching this video again as these got delivered today and currently on feet. Man, I'm so in love with these. Hands down the best colorway of the 2, no questions asked. I'm bummed out that they didn't come with red laces. But my shoe of the year.

One of my favorite silhouettes in the Jordan series and I know this is far from popular opinion, but it is mine. I'm glad to see these done with the bred treatment and it's definitely a must cop for me.
Can’t believe these were just sitting in Nike app. I was scrolling and saw them. Didn’t even know about these. I got em for 157$ plus tax. Definitely a sleeper sneaker. And will be sought after later.

I think these are the second best colorway I've seen for the 2's. I still love the 87 Alternates, and I am really surprised that, after all these 2 retros and new colorways, they chose not to re-release the 87 Alternates! I rarely like white midsoles, so that's the only complaint I have about these Cement's. The heel design of the Jordan 2 is still my favorite thing on any shoe I've seen, and they look good on these Cement's. Glad Chris likes these though. 2s are too under-appreciated, as well as the 32s!

I have never liked 2s but these have changed my mind ,I walked into my local snipe's and they had my size when I tried them on I was sold I love how they fit and I love how they look very underrated pair of shoes.

Personally I never liked the 2s until I bought my first pair the white/cement grays. they definitely have grown on me, and love this color way for sure.

I LOVE these, and I fully agree on it being the best colorway for 2s ever. They look like they could've dropped in 1986 as an OG, and they should've tbh. One of my favorite sleeper pairs and I wear the hell out of em.

Once again, another great overall video review of this new colorway of the Air Jordan 2. I actually saw this on the official Nike website if I recall correctly. I WAS going to pass but, after seeing this video review, very, very tempted. May pick up this colorway later down the line. With it releasing in September, just trying to stay on target with the Air Jordan 8 "Playoffs". Still deciding if I prefer this colorway of the Air Jordan 2 or the Air Jordan 2 87 Alternate that released in 2016.
Not huge fan of the 2, but when I saw the thumbnail had to pause for a bit. Like you said, almost looks like it should have been an original colorway 🙌 On top of that the materials plus that toe 👌 a beauty, love the review as always!

Got them in the mail a few days ago. Used a coupon. BEST jordan I own. And I have alot. Quality is there. Colorway is awesome and goes with anything. Definitely getting a second pair. Love these. Glad people hate 2s.

They definitely hit the mark. And extra glad no elephant print. Jordan stay producing colorways noboday wants or needs unless its for your team i e maimi heat 5s and ish. Or them raging bull 6s that didnt have a clear tongue or 3m. Dropped the ball on those. 85% complete frfr. But these here. Chefs kiss
I wish they would make those laker 6s with the yellow stitches from mid 2000s with bulls colors black and grey with white red stitches. Or jordan 1 nu with regular mid soles. Shoes like Oregon duck whatevers are alllll hype. Make jordan 12s Cleveland browns limited and load us up on OG stuff. If they sit 4 months we gone circle back. Nobody outside of Alabama wants roll tide 7s lol. Make em yes 100k will do. Jordan 3s black cements 3 million. B grades welcome

These and the infrared cement 2's are my favorite colorways of this model, and the most comfortable pair of his entire line in my opinion
The OG white and fire red 2 is my favorite, was hoping for a retro this year, but they made it Christmas/ Italy themed lol

I’ve been back and forth on these since release.L and I have to agree they are better than any other recent release of the 2s . Just snagged for a discount on Nike this morning and can definitely see myself wearing these much more than the Chicagos I have .
These are a must cop. 2's wear better than most retros. These are gonna still look good over time. Crazy they just thought of this. Nike may have kept Mike sooner with this one.

It’s like the Bred 1s and Black Cement 3s and Bred AJ4s reimagined but they got a makeover with all over black leather instead of suede or nubuck. I prefer matte black leather but this shiny leather on the AJ2 I’m not a total fan. On the fence with these bc the original mock-up of these had black matte leather instead of this shiny glossy leather finish. But I like the fact that you said that Chicago AJ2s are like the Home and these are the Away colorway. Still a solid shoe!

I think it might have been Molly Ringwald (Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles) but it may have been Jennifer Connelly. If I find out I'll let you guys know!
Those black midsole Chicago AJ2's always were one of my all-time grail sneakers, missed them back in '84 but finally picked up the 2022 release! Love this new Black Cement AJ2 colorway too, as you said Chris it could have easily been an OG release. So good! 🙂
