    Every time I watch this video I am awed by the skills of Safa when either descending or just cutting through traffic. And the fact that you are able to follow him and film at the same time is just incredible. Pinches, blocked paths, high speed and swerving, all the ingredients are there and make this hotline one of the most tantalizing and scary at the same time. Temerity and skill were at that rendez-vous.

      @@CVZ_ Kinda weird saying that, the one thing that really separates competing athletes from incredibly athletic individuals comes down to the quality of training they get to receive and an entire team that helps them prepare for events. Guarantee that if this guy had to mind to compete in something like pro biking he'd be comfortably competitive. People that professionally compete in sports aren't just baseline better than everyone that doesn't. It's almost all due to the training that they had to fortune to find or became available to them.

This neighborhood is right next to the major business district of the city (w/the highest monthly rent of the city for A+ buildings and an oversupply of commercial real estate). Highrise buildings everywhere, a huge financial/business district and the biggest shopping mall in Latin America. But of course, let's not forget this 'amazing' part of the city also has BIG mobility and development issues, yet it still is the most expensive and 'exclusive' one (social exclusion indeed). ¡Viva México!     For anyone commenting about how this style of riding will give either you or pedestrians an early death, hear this;
    Those who ride like maniacs, are maniacs. And they're maniacs because they've accepted the risks of riding like this. They know they're fucked if they ride into a random kid who's crossing the street, they know they're fucked if they slam into a random opening car door and they *know* what that means if they *do* fuck up. Possible vegetation, death and possibly jail time depending on what happens. And *you* commenting about how it's irresponsible, dangerous and that they need to grow up, is just gonna make them either just give you a big, giant 'fuck you' up to your face or will go out riding in this exact style to calm down.

    I feel like the disconnect in the video with a lot of cyclists is 1. Most cycling in the states we actually have bike lanes and some form of uniformity with pedestrian crossings. This would be more common place in areas where cycling is seen as a means of transportation outside of leisure, so I'm sure a lot of these cyclists ride with the flow of traffic a lot more aggressively being that the streets aren't as smooth and paved as some cities in the states like Chicago (though we got hella potholes). On the other hand, I can see the point of being safe on the roads, but I like a little danger within reason from time to time, as long as you got the skills to pay the bills....

    • @MR-pw6xi
