I have been going through my Pokemon that I have saved checking IVs… I have over 7500 Pokemon in my storage because I like to hoard and it is paying off because I have some really great IV ones that I didn’t realize I had!

Lots of helpful info. I'm wondering if there are any nerfed Pokémon that you think could still be viable an open or limited meta with an alternate move set. Like bubble on Mantine or Poliwrath or fury cutter and night slash on gligar for example.
Mudboys specifically quagsire are still super viable. The mud shot nerf doesmt kill them at all. Just makes for quag for example you need 5 mud shots instead of 4. Mudboys still wreck. Also with the lack of viable grass types their worst weaknesses got nerfed along with them
how do you guys decide if you want to level up a mon for PvP?! do you level a pokémon if it’s between rank 1 and 50 iVs?! or what do you do?! i’m quite new to PvP and don’t want to waste stardust, because i like raiding too
I feel like I am the only person with this take: I am skeptical of the buff to Astonish. With another damage buff, it now does twice the damage that Hex does. But Hex still has higher energy gains, and I feel especially with the new mechanics, energy is more important than ever before. I feel Astonish having twice the damage output of Hex is less appealing than Hex reaching Shadow Balls one move faster, especially with both Astonish and Hex being as slow as they are. (My math could be off and perhaps the extra Fast Attack damage is indeed worth the Shadow Ball coming 3 turns slower. PvPoke does indeed show greater winrates for Astonish.) Hex and Shadow Claw are tied for energy gains, slightly more than Astonish. Hex's damage remains middling, while Astonish now eclipses Shadow Claw. Yet, Shadow Claw is still considered arguably superior than Astonish (even though Astonish does way more damage for slightly less energy).
I mean... Dusknoir is better with hex I think because he's suppose to be a "bulky" pokemon with his high stats, and he won't do that much damage even with astonish. And also, him being shadow looses his little bulk ... Rather go normal dusknoir with hex, shadow punch and a coverage move
Bc pvpoke rankings assume that the opponent shields the bait and then doesnt shield the nuke, thats why aurorus ranks high on pvpoke a good amount of times
What’s crazy is that I was just checking this on pvpoke lol. With aerial ace baits, the wigglytuff matchup is much safer compared to having to use energy ball to bait and then try to land an acrobatics. Personally I’m keeping acrobatics on my jumpluff but I understand why serial ace would be preferred.
I can’t believe niantic nerfed counter, but not shadow claw!? Its not like shadow claw has been tied with counter for the best fast move for like 10 seasons straight lol

@@Denizozzzy003 The IVs are already low enough that whoever I trade it to wouldn't get it below 2500, the only thing this bird's good for is to lucky trade so that someone can potentially get a hundo for master league But hey thanks for taking the time to tell me stuff that I already know

You can mirror trade with low friendship lv to get it under UL or lucky trade it to use in ML
