I had the pleasure of interviewing OZZY and LITA FORD when they came out with the single "Close My Eyes Forever." OZZY couldnt have been a nicer person. He knew I was nervous and new and walked me through the interview. I will never forget his kindness

I just looked back at Eddie Van Halens social media and it's heartbreaking to think all these legends are getting old. I grew up after these guys were popular but it's still terribly sad to have listened to their music and hear what they've said and see them go. I hope the afterlife has a stage for these guys to rock out on.

I was just about the say the same thing only not as well put. You nailed it. Sure he may have been drunk, jet-lagged, and on quaaludes (i'm assuming) but he was right about everything he said.
Bruncle Ben I see he never bothered to respond. Meaning, he’s either ignorant enough he won’t research to find out, or he did, and realized he sounded dumb af. Lol
A1 ASMR you’re very uneducated if you actually believe that. Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. All those dumb videos where they talk about the ties between Satan and 9/11 where eventually they repeat one phrase, out of context nonetheless, while flashing between images of politicians, pentagrams and all seeing eyes, then the ongoing explanation behind Lady Gaga and Kurt Cobain being pawns. I love Ozzy. He isn’t stupid like some people think. He’s totally buzzed in this video but he’s creative and very much his own person. I admire that so much! He wouldn’t have lasted this long without being inventive, creative, and rebellious. I know he did a lot of drugs and alcohol when he was younger, (so did I) but he came from nothing and has an inferiority complex. He’s really has a good soul. If not for Sharon, maybe things would have been different but thank his lucky stars he came through it all. He’s the best thing that ever happened to music and I love him for it. I hope he lives on a long time. ❤️

Everybody here is focusing on how incredibly smeared off his face Ozzy is but what he said about MTV was really deep. I always make a point to listen to really stoned people because they bring something true & phophetic back from that void.... Respect your Elders, Kids.
I'm guessing- Ozzy does not have time to do as many drugs as some profess. I know he openly admits to having a good time here and there off the stage, but he still has to keep his mind sharp and focused on the lyrics for the live shows. Sure, he's probably indulged a little here and there; but If you look back through his immense body of sonic works and comprehensive live concerts you will notice a consistency of impeccable professionalism. He's successful for many reasons; like his passionate and well rounded voice that cuts through a mix but still commands a balanced spectrum and his creative showmanship/ audience connection.- He writes timeless classic songs that actually rival many of the Beatles top songs in my opinion. i mean, sure- some performances and songs are better than others- but overall he has given this world a LOT of stellar concerts and classic songs that make this World a better place- let's face it.
Hes a great entertainer. He did more than dabble here and there with drugs. He consumed them in mass quantities. He didnt really write anything. Bob Daisley wrote the bulk of Ozzy's stuff up to this point.
I look like Ozzy every time I go out to get drunk with my friends and it's around 4:00 am and you are there in the corner of a bar/club/pub and you are thinking about life, religion, science, laws and serious stuff
