A cleansing tip that totally works for me is to first cleanse your skin with an oil such as almond oil. May sound messy esp when taking off eye make up but cleansing with a oil will break down all the make up and dirt from the day, then go in with a cleansing gel or wash for a second proper cleanse so you double cleanse without the need for wipes etc. I have combination oily skin and I'm in my late thirties and it has done wonders for my skin.
Soni1 thank you so much for the tip!! I agree and for the most part do the same as you!! One of the cleansing oils I currently use is by simply and it contains natural ingredients and for sure helps break down the makeup so much better!! Xx
I used to just use oil, it works really well on waterproof makeup. You can't get the oil off without rubbing excessively or soap and water. It's good for your skin, just like conditioning before you wash your hair.
There is also the gel eye cream, it is fantastic. It has definitely hydrated the undereye area and my dark circles are less prominent. I love the cleansing gel especially for winter time!
I love the Hydro Boost hydrating cleanser! It definitely doesn't leave my skin dry or feeling as if it was sucked of life. It feels pretty soft and smooth afterwards! I recommend that product definitely.
I know this video is old but pay attention to the ingredients in these products. The water gel cream and the eye cream have the same EXACT ingredients !
Love the hydro boost gel cream! And yes, the skin around your eyes is delicate, but you can definitely pat that around your eyes. I do every morning and night. The idea that you need a separate eye cream is only to sell more product. Unless the moisturizer has something excessively strong like tretinoin.
Vilma Martins I bought the hada labo skin plumping gel cream, and love it even more than the hydro boost. And the hada labo “3d” masks in the pink packaging are awesome! But I do suggest the neutrogena hydro boost body lotion!
I have been using the facial cleanser for a month now and started using the exfoliating wash and moisturizer for a couple of weeks and everyone is telling me I look great. Asking what are you doing, you look younger!! I love this product line.
I just started using this line today and I really like the way it makes my skin feel! I have a couple more products in the line to buy but I will definitely continue to use it! Thank u!
The only thing that serum has going for it is the glycerin and the Hyaluronic acid, but it messes that up with the absorbent alluminium starch they added to it. So at most this "serum" could be a silicone primer for normal/combo/dry skin.
I have been a Clinique fan for years and pretty much still am, but Neutrogena is my ride or die stand by always, especially the Hydro-Boost products - great video, thanks for sharing!
Thank very much! I’ve been needing a better skincare line for my 40 something face. Your review was very informative and will be purchasing your favs from this line
Thank you so much for stopping by!! I love this line...but since this video I have tried several other brands and this is currently my New skincare routine ruclips.net/video/PZ-DoJY-QtE/видео.html
Vilma Martins Thank you very much. I checked your updated video out earlier. The Bobby Brown line is a pricey for me. I'll have to stick to drug store products
Yeah yours is the water gel and the other one is a gel cream it's still quite lite but more moisturising and also fragrance free xx love your hair btw x
I have a question! I'm a total noob when it comes to skin care routines. I'm 22 and I've *just* started moisturizing and using a sunscreen. I've a combination skin (dry cheeks and oily T-zone) and I wanted to know if I can use a sunscreen over the hydro boost moisturizer gel thing...?
Yes, of course you can😉. The sunscreen is the last step so you can use it over a moisturiser or serum or after both. And you are not a not at all. You are asking the right questions 😉❤
I’m loving the facial wash. It’s milky and none soapy. It’s working on my acne and dark spots. It also makes my skin really glow. I’m getting a lot of eyes on me now 😂
I’ve never seen some of those products in the US, the facial cleansing wipes recently arrived and I hate them. They are very rough and uncomfortable to use. The regular hydrating wipes were softer unless they changed the material on them. I have yet to see the micellar water and Gelee Milk here too, but I’m in interested in them. Maybe the milk can be used as the first in a double cleanse for removing makeup followed by another cleanser?
Hello Vilma! I liked your review a lot~ Can you tell me if this moisturizer is suitable for sensitive skin? My skin tends to turn red when I get my eyebrows and upperlip threading done. Can you suggest a nice moisurizer for oily acne prone sensitive skin?
OMG That hydroboost micellar water would make a beautiful toner or hydrating spray. Girl put it in a spray bottle! and try it like a toner or over makeup and let us know how it goes! Also, could you use the Hydro Boost Gelée Milk Cleanser as a toner?
The hydroboost micellar water ingredients are very similar to essences and also hydrating mists like MAc Prep Prime Fix plus. It might work :) Doesnt hurt to try.
Just bought hydro boost cleanser rather than my usual Neutrogena Pore Refining cleanser. Product is good but you get 38ml less for the same price. That's an ounce! Why?
Willi Romita It's because the hydro-boost cleanser contains hyaluronic acid, which is used to help hydrate (not moisturize, yes they are different things) dehydrated, thirsty, and dryness-prone skin. Helpful with rosacea too. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that our body actually produces itself, but not everyone produces the same amount. Our skin loves to soak it up. It's also used in lip filler and other cosmetic fillers. 100% natural and safe, and seriously so efficient, especially for older women, it prevents stretching and wrinkles. but it is also stupid expensive because it's costly for companies to obtain and in higher demand. The pore refining exfoliant doesn't contain hyaluronate at all, it overall contains cheaper less efficient chemicals.
I know that this is an old video but I think the Gillei milk is supposed to work like that, just loosening up the makeup so it'll wash off better. I use coconut oil instead and I get panda eyes lol
Hey...thanks so much for stopping by. I tried coconut oil I couldn't deal with it. I really didn't like the Gilley. The other products, I have repurchased😉
Hi Vilma, I live in Canada and there is an eye cream. I haven't tried it but I love the moisturizer. There is a gift pack with the moisturizer and eye cream for $20.00cdn. I'm going to try the face wash. Great review.
anearinginmy hi sweetie. they have an eye cream in this line?? OMG!! I hope I can get it because this line is totally awesome 😉. thanks for letting me know 😘😘😘
Ho Radhika - I would suggest you look into a line that is suitable for acne prone skin...this one although works for me, it could upset your skin as it's highly perfumed...try La Roche posay or Avène x
I just subscribed to your channel. Has seen couple of your videos on skin care, specially this one which I loved. Looking forward to more skincare videos.
Lina Saitama I bought the eye creme today. Also, I know that you said you aren't supposed to wash off the milk but I think Kitts just to break down the makeup as an oil would. Then use the gel cleanser. That's how I use it. I love this line.
Felicia Lott how do you feel about the eye cream? I find that drugstore eye creams aren't the best. One is used in the past from Sanctuary Spa was really nice but for a whopping £18!! This is quite expensive... Clinique sells a few for a few more £££! Thanks for the recommendation 😘
***** If you are searching for a good drugstore eye creams you should try ROC with retinol, healthy skin by neutrogena, intense hydration by burt's bees olay has also good eye creams or aveeno. They are recommended by dermatologist. I Hope this help you girl.😃
Erika Molano I would recommend the one by "simple" I've been using it for ages and it's great!! Garnier also has 3 different ones that you could check out. however, give this one a try because you may well like it...😉
i bought the gel , micellar and gelee but im not really aware how i should use the gelee in my daily skin routine. to be accurate, im confused about the order i should use them i hope u can help me out :)
I'm 13 should I use some of those products? I'm currently using a Reno and it's not working and my skin is always dehydrated. Should I switch to the hydroboost
Your body naturally produces hyaluronic acid which is what makes this skin care line so special. Your skin should not react badly at all, unless youre oddly allergic to something.
azril ariff not sure if this is the right line for acne prone skin. Some of the products are highly fragranced and could irritate your skin. However, all trial and error

The hyrdro boost gel is for non sensitive skin types while the gel-cream for extra dry skin is for sensitive skin type bc it’s fragrance free.
Aubrey yes you have to be very careful to make sure you get the extra dry one
There is also the gel eye cream, it is fantastic. It has definitely hydrated the undereye area and my dark circles are less prominent. I love the cleansing gel especially for winter time!
Thanks for watching 😘
your skin is glowing... it looks very hydrated refreshed and beautiful!
JA M thanks so much! I believe it's this line for sure!!
Baby Cakes you’re exactly right!
Probably the formulations are different because the eye cream is alot thicker
Is that a good think it bad thing
Yg Bodybuilder I think you could save money & only buy the gel cream instead of buying both; especially if they have the same ingredients.
Love the hydro boost gel cream! And yes, the skin around your eyes is delicate, but you can definitely pat that around your eyes. I do every morning and night. The idea that you need a separate eye cream is only to sell more product. Unless the moisturizer has something excessively strong like tretinoin.
Thanks for sharing your views on that. I find most facial moisturisers either to rich or they irritate the under eye area. But I do get what you mean😉
Vilma Martins I bought the hada labo skin plumping gel cream, and love it even more than the hydro boost. And the hada labo “3d” masks in the pink packaging are awesome! But I do suggest the neutrogena hydro boost body lotion!

Does it work for acne and darkspots?
There is also a Hydro Boost serum; it is also very good.
There is an eye cream too. I can buy in the States at Walmart. Maybe you could get it on Amazon?
Cheri Coffman I hope it comes out here at some point because I'm loving the facial cleanser and the water gel. they're amazing!!!
Cheri Coffman I love the serum!
Melinda Roth whoo hoo!! Awesome!!

I am going back today to get them. You convinced me.
Thanks so much for watching x
