Yes, there is one. I use it myself and it's very moisturizing which I need to prevent dryness. Some say it's irritating but it works for me. I also follow Dr Dray.

Vicky Sadler try the Deciem website, I managed to get everything I needed from there very recently, and a couple of things from The Ordinary from Boots. I logged onto the Deciem website at midnight and the Niacinamide was suddenly back in stock. Could be a coincidence but maybe they refresh the website at midnight!

You do not have to take every single thing she is saying and do that for your skin care. She is speaking in general it’s not a prescription based video. So if fragrance works for you then use it. If you notice that fragrance doesn’t work for you then you can come to this channel and see why. I hope this helps

@@vanitarattan I've noticed that a lot of dermatologist recommended products, like Neutrogena, and Nivea...their lotions and body washes darken the skin of already dark skin tones...it can be great for lighter skin tones...because it makes those skin types look sun-kissed...the products almost mimic a suntan

Hey, I think you read the ingredients for the oil-free moisturizer (sensitive skin). Because I use the oil free moisturizer for combination and oily skin and they do not have those 2 products. Their oil free moisturizer has separate products for oily, combination, sensitive and dry skin.

What deodorant is good for skin of color? Would you have a dermatologist drain a cyst on an eyelid right above the eyelashes, while an ophthalmologist wasn’t above to drain it from the back of the lid to avoid any scaring from cutting from the surface of the eyelid?

Yes I have a jar that has fragrance too, so I was surprised to hear her say that her jar did not. But I am in the US so maybe it depends on region also? I noticed the jar in the picture said “extra dry” which mine does not.
Medhavi Sandhani They are mainly just overpriced moisturizers. A lot of them have good moisturizing ingredients however they're the same ingredients you could find in your face moisturizer. Usually they also come in a tiny size and are more expensive. However if you want an eye cream then go for it but it's probably not worth it to spend a lot of money on it.

Yaaaaay I've been using Hydroboost Gel Cream for about 4 months now :) I wish I found you sooner. I also recently started recently started using a physical sunscreen (CoTz Flawless complexion) as a black woman of Caribbean heritage. i didn't trust chemical sunscreens one bit so I avoided wearing anything but CoTz is fabulous for use brown girls. Honestly, I've also avoided it because my family looks fabulous. Not a wrinkle in sight on either side of the family.

Would love a review of Face Theory (they offer fragrance free versions of all their products!) as well as the new fragrance-free PIXI Clarity line (particularly the Clarity Tonic). Another set of videos that would be super useful would be on actives at different percentages (e.g. Niacinamide at 2%, 3%, 5%, 10% and over) and how they work on the skin at these different percentages, including whether some percentages might irritate skin of colour. anna Salazar I saw this, I wanted know about it, I was happy but what put me off is it has a lot of fruit acids in it, this can cause sensitive to the sun , I know you can use sunblock but really who is topping sunblock religiously every two hours everyday . I prefer my skin to be strong and if I go out without sunblock for 1 hour I don’t want to be sheilding away from the sun like a vampire. I’m focusing on products that don’t destroy the skin barrier like niacadamide and there is anouther natural vitamins a I forgot the name of it. It does not make skin sensitive

I think from her videos, Alpha Arbutin is a spot treatment it goes first and then Niacinamide, they are both water based so it doesn't really matter. Dr V please correct if I am wrong
I Soo appreciate the knowledge you give us. You have been going on about how we must avoid denatured alcohol. The other day I purchased micellar water from Sukin cz it had aloe vera but I found after three or four days it would start to cause burning sensation on my cheeks. So I read the ingredients list and it had "alcohol denat."... I stopped using it and instead purchased the Garnier one that you recommend. It has no denatured alcohol and my skin feels nothing! So so grateful. I am applying your knowledge to my skincare... I always read labels on my food packaging. So glad I can do the same now with my skincare . I now only only buy stuff that you recommend nothing else!

Hey, I think you read the ingredients for the oil-free moisturizer (sensitive skin). Because I use the oil free moisturizer for combination and oily skin and they do not have those 2 products. Their oil free moisturizer has separate products for oily, combination, sensitive and dry skin.

What deodorant is good for skin of color? Would you have a dermatologist drain a cyst on an eyelid right above the eyelashes, while an ophthalmologist wasn’t above to drain it from the back of the lid to avoid any scaring from cutting from the surface of the eyelid?

I think the ingredient list varies from country to country. Because here in India the hyrdro boost gel cream does have fragrance in it.
Yes I have a jar that has fragrance too, so I was surprised to hear her say that her jar did not. But I am in the US so maybe it depends on region also? I noticed the jar in the picture said “extra dry” which mine does not.

Medhavi Sandhani They are mainly just overpriced moisturizers. A lot of them have good moisturizing ingredients however they're the same ingredients you could find in your face moisturizer. Usually they also come in a tiny size and are more expensive. However if you want an eye cream then go for it but it's probably not worth it to spend a lot of money on it.
Please do a video on appropriate skin care for young children (under 10) experiencing acne.

Yaaaaay I've been using Hydroboost Gel Cream for about 4 months now :) I wish I found you sooner. I also recently started recently started using a physical sunscreen (CoTz Flawless complexion) as a black woman of Caribbean heritage. i didn't trust chemical sunscreens one bit so I avoided wearing anything but CoTz is fabulous for use brown girls. Honestly, I've also avoided it because my family looks fabulous. Not a wrinkle in sight on either side of the family.
Hi Dr. V, thanks for all these fantastic videos! Would love a review of Face Theory (they offer fragrance free versions of all their products!) as well as the new fragrance-free PIXI Clarity line (particularly the Clarity Tonic).
Another set of videos that would be super useful would be on actives at different percentages (e.g. Niacinamide at 2%, 3%, 5%, 10% and over) and how they work on the skin at these different percentages, including whether some percentages might irritate skin of colour.

anna Salazar I saw this, I wanted know about it, I was happy but what put me off is it has a lot of fruit acids in it, this can cause sensitive to the sun , I know you can use sunblock but really who is topping sunblock religiously every two hours everyday . I prefer my skin to be strong and if I go out without sunblock for 1 hour I don’t want to be sheilding away from the sun like a vampire. I’m focusing on products that don’t destroy the skin barrier like niacadamide and there is anouther natural vitamins a I forgot the name of it. It does not make skin sensitive

I do like a certain amount of fragrance. Mildly scented products are great for psyche. Essential oils can be used within safe dermal limits.

I think from her videos, Alpha Arbutin is a spot treatment it goes first and then Niacinamide, they are both water based so it doesn't really matter. Dr V please correct if I am wrong

I Soo appreciate the knowledge you give us. You have been going on about how we must avoid denatured alcohol. The other day I purchased micellar water from Sukin cz it had aloe vera but I found after three or four days it would start to cause burning sensation on my cheeks. So I read the ingredients list and it had "alcohol denat."... I stopped using it and instead purchased the Garnier one that you recommend. It has no denatured alcohol and my skin feels nothing! So so grateful. I am applying your knowledge to my skincare... I always read labels on my food packaging. So glad I can do the same now with my skincare . I now only only buy stuff that you recommend nothing else!
