Haru (bass) does the growls. I listened to this as soon as they dropped it and for some reason, it reminded me of something else--can't place it though, but it made me a bit nostalgic. I think these ladies are in their sweet spot when they do the harder/heavier stuff, but I'll listen either way. I love Kimi's voice.
It was a conscious choice to go back to their core hard-and-heavy style. They know people still love the stuff from the original lineup, but they gave it their own fresh take.
