That's a nice ring. A player can comfortably wear that ring and people would know that's a significant championship ring. The rings from the past 15 years are gigantic. There more works of art than a traditional championship ring.

@Rob The Closer If the guy knew it wasn't real, he would have gladly taken the $4000.00 offer Corey gave him as an option to buy it right then without an expert coming. The guy decided to wait on the expert to get a higher estimate on the ring. If he actually knew that the ring wasn't real, he would have immediately accepted the up front offer of 4 grand. It would make no sense to wait on an appraiser if you know that it is not an actual staff ring.

Demo or not, I'd still keep it. Braves are my team! I was lucky enough to go to a game a couple years ago where they honored the '95 WS team (which all players were in attendance) and the giveaway at the gate was a replica of the WS ring. And it wasn't some cheap plastic thing either, but a real wearable metal ring

I knew it was a salesman sample as soon as I saw it. I have seen hundreds of various salesman samples. They usually have the best player on the teams name or the owner of the teams name on them.
I won’t buy them because they just don’t have the same collectibility as the actual rings. Though that ring is worth more than $2,000.00 it is almost half that in just the gold content. If the stones have any value then there is that aspect too.
