Tx Trey - I love the sound of a nice acoustic guitar with open chords. Something about the acoustic - it was made for open chords in my humble opinion. I think Trey is a classic example of not needing to "learn" music, learning scales, modes, time signatures, theory and harmony, sight reading are a bunch of rules that put a player into a box that quite often makes the music sound robotic, instead of listening to the sounds produced.
You have learned a lot about singing through singing along with great vocalists. Please, in all seriousness, do use warm ups and try some breathing exercises… whatever keeps you healthy and making music as long as you want to. God bless and keep you on the road. 🙏🏻💜
