Trey, thanks for taking the time to pass along your craft to the younger generation. That's almost as important as bluegrass music itself. The BG communities here in Michigan aren't what they were 20 years ago. Bill Monroe is smiling. 🤠
Did you steal Keith’s ring? I remember when Guitars and Cadillacs came out and Pete Anderson saying he was getting all these calls about what effects he used to get that sound; just a 50s tele in a 50s Fender twin. Ya gotta luv that!
They are amazing! I played both models last year (the rosewood and koa ones) and both of them were just amazing instruments. I don’t normally like koa that much, but I was blown away by them.
If I could just slow down your speed so I could see what you are doing. I'm 65 and have arthritis in several joints, have never been able to play fast anyway but I love to keep trying. I'm an old dog still trying to learn. Thanks for your insights.

Fantastic. Great job. Hey from East Tennessee
Thanks that was awesome especially the hybrid picking.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Trey! Thanks for your generosity in sharing 💜🙏🏼
Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to do this. I always learn a lot from these videos. 🎶 😊
You're amazing.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Great video once again. Playin it forward. Good on you my brother. Give my regards to Rob.
This is a fun video. I’m in Nashville, but if I was in East Tennessee, I would definitely sign up for that class.
I'm an acoustic fan, but the electric still roasts my turkey (even with that frontman amp).
I had a good time in the early 90s with Jack Tottle in the ETSU music program. I should come check you out sometime!
Thanks so much for this, it is so helpful.
THANK U BROTHER

The only pick I have ever used is the gray Dunlop nylon picks best on the market.
Do you use your finger nail when you use them with your pic?

You can slow videos down on RUclips. Hit settings (gear wheel) and you’ll see playback speed
@@Dlee966 thanks
curious what your students are into as I am sure they read music?
They might, but they don’t read any in my classes. I teach solely by ear.
boss
Do you teach on here also?
No, but I do occasionally offer private zoom lessons and I have an instructional course over at bigmusictent.com
