Your XFR looks banging! I absolutely love those XF wheels, i dont think that you could pick a better set of wheels for the XFR then them original ones.
This is so useful! Fitting the same towbar to my XF in the next couple of weeks - Dont suppose you've got a video of the electrics for the tow bar have you? Well done - very useful!
You’ll be very impressed with it that’s for sure. The electrics wasn’t videoed unfortunately as it was so easy to do with the dedicated electrics. Apart from 1 wire that needed joining in for the fog lights, that was a bit of a pain and I got it the wrong side of the connector the first time.
@@evans21 I can’t remember to be honest, but it’s for the fog lights, I got it the wrong way around the 1st time and the fog lights flashed for a couple of seconds and stopped, once i put the wires the other way around it worked fine.
What a great addition to your XFR. Well done on the installation and the steps you showed us in the video. How did it drive down the road? Did everything feel solid and track straight while driving?
Have a looksy at the XF boot liner on Adamesh, I just bought one for £150 and it looks proper, way better than the tatty cloth that was in there. Proper leaping cat embossed into it too 😃
Great video. Do you know what the part number is of the towbar? I have bought one, looks the same as yours, from the same company. Mine is for a 2.2 though.
@@richardwebber3523 get the dedicated electrics. It’s just all plugs in apart from 2 wires. So much easier and cleaner than a universal loom that will take you hours and hours to fit. Worth spending the extra money.
Depends what intake it is, how the filters are shielded off from the engine bay, Are you talking about a cold air intake to the filter or a new pipe work from the filter to the supercharger?
@@MarcoTopG I haven’t seen the Mina Gallery cold air intake. I’ve only tested their replacement intake that I did a video for. I’ll have to check out their cold air intake online. However, I’m soon to have a new cold air intake mod through Viezu in the next couple of months.

@@69racer69 do it. I always enjoy watching your vids. Been getting my lad into karting. I have a work event at Ellough Park in July, and we’ve been going there doing a lot of pre season testing to get the jump on all my work mates. But they don’t know that 😁😁
Nice vid I have been watching your others But this is the first one that flagged up in ages I did this on mine last year it being the mk2 I had to take the car to my local tow bar specialist so he could program the electrics including the reversing sensors and rear view camera
Just fitting one to my 5.0 portfolio, very handy video!
@@lewl1483 glad it helped buddy
My XFR is identical to yours brother 💪🏽
Nice one dude, you have a black R100 too?

Well all fitted and all working just a question when you did your electrics did you have to cut the blue / white wire
@@evans21 i think it was the blue and white wire yes, up in the top of the boot on the right side. That’s for the fog lights.

Felt fine driving, the XF is a big car and toes really well, the XFR has so much torque it pulls it almost effortlessly.

what about the electrics?
It was so easy, I had fitted it before Helen had a chance to film sorry. Used a dedicated electrics kit, not a universal.

What with number plate
What do you mean? It’s a private plate
It's fun blitzing a 320d off the lights whilst towing a caravan.
