Kept putting the volume down and felt like it wasn’t lowering hahahah
Get the transmission pan dropped and filter changed, almost every used car never gets this service done.
Take it to a mechanic to get the vehicle fully checked out (this should be done before buying it) and I’d recommend getting all the fluids changed which is easier said than done if you’re paying labor. When I got my first car I was stubborn and didn’t wanna pay for labor so I ended up learning about cars and now wrenching is one of my biggest life passions. Brake clean gets water in it over time and it’s an important thing to change for safety reasons - if water worked for brakes we wouldn’t be using brake fluid. Coolant and transmission fluid are next because we tend to not get our trannies flushed like we should.
I just bought another used car and i am never too knowledgeable about what to do after buying a used car. This video really helps!
Most important, check that the cambelt (unless it has a chain) has been done, if there is no service history, get it done and get the water pump done at the same time as it is all located in the same place. If the cambelt fails, you will prob need a new engine!
Y'all really sat n watch the entire video then criticised his voice smh y'all sad yes.
I'm surprised you didn't say anything about the tires, in my opinion the tires are the most important part of a vehicle because that is the connection with you and the road.
Additionally, check the date code on the tires. It will be four digits (0314) for example. This tells you it was manufactured March of 2014. Regardless of how good the tires look, they have a safe shelf life of 5 years. Should have a pre-purchase inspection within the 3-day lemon. If codes have been erased, return the vehicle. If codes have not been erased, it will show date codes. Check against CarFax or Edmunds and your mechanic to see what was addressed. If everything checks out, have the dealer clear the codes. Drive the vehicle for 50-100 miles and recheck codes. If anything pops up, have these addressed ASAP. And finally, don’t buy a used car if the dealer won’t provide their own 90 day warranty. Do your research on the vehicle. Some manufacturers, like Honda, continue to support and honor vehicle safety recalls if a part on your vehicle wasn’t changed out by the previous owner(s).
I went from watching your road test videos to passing my test back to your videos after buying a car. Thank you.
"Better call Saul!" 😂😂😂
All jokes aside, this video was still very informative. Thanks! :)

Get a block test done. I purchased a used car and after only a few months it started to overheat all the time. After getting block test done I was told that gas was leaking into the cooling system. And that it had a blown head gasket.
I needed this advice. Great job!
Ok definitely that intro is pretty crazy “hellllloooo every boddyyyy”
Solid tips. I especially liked #3. Thanks man.
Just bought my first car and its a used car this are some really awesome tips
I just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv. ive been obsessed with watching these kinds of videos. I originally wanted a toyota but this is what i just ended up leaving with, i dropped the gun too fast and jumped on it without seeing what else cars i had to choose from, lol so debating if i should just pay it off or trade it in a few months for a toyota. i'm grateful though, god is good!
Helped me pass my G2 test last month. Now watching cause I'm getting a used Toyota Echo by Tuesday InShaAllah
stop shouting lol
Logician's Surmise agree with you

Bro I really wanted to watch this video, but 5 seconds in I just can’t do it anymore
This is an awesome checklist, I'll be sure to keep all of these points in mind. Thanks 😊
You missed out a very most important and crucial thing to do when buying a used car and am surprised you missed it out. After buying a used car, the first and foremost thing to do is to change the timing belt. There is nothing as bad as buying a beautiful lovely used car, only for the timing belt to snap!!!!!! Once the belt snaps, that's the end of the whole engine!!!!!!. Trying to fix bent valves on the damaged engine is just as expensive as buying another engine. In addition to all 7 checks outlined, this is the most important and less obvious problem that could be encountered after buying a used car. Even if the seller tells you that the timing has been changed, change it again for peace of mind.
Great advice. I like this channel.
Don’t yell at me , I’m a nice guy trust me
Thank you I'm getting my first car from my sister so I think along with this she will help me ty
This dude sounds like Charlie Day
That's what I said! 😂😂😂

Quick checkup of your tires often!!
I realize this video is from six years ago and presumably refers to used cars purchased from an individual owner. How about if you bought your car from a reputable dealership or online via Carvana? Do you still need to do these SEVEN steps are they done at the dealership before you leave the lot?
My headphones volume was on high when it started. Felt like I went deaf.😵
First thing you should do is have a mechanical inspection by a mechanic or a family member who is mechanically inclined before the Money exchanges hands. If it’s anything over $3000 and you’re willing to roll the dice otherwise get a mechanical inspection
Pretty good video I must admit. Was a little distracted initially by his voice tho
Do more things about used cars I need help

Comments section roasting the absolute shit out of this guy
How serious is everyone with that coolant flush?
I just passed my road test and got the paper temporary license (waiting for the real ID to come in the mail). Am I able to buy a car with the interim license ?
Yup! I did
The problem you’re going to have is getting insurance on your own. Liberty Mutual told me I couldn’t even get a quote because I only had my license for 3 days. Geico quoted me 450. I had to pay 500 for the first installment then I went down to liability cus I bought the car cash. No finance no lease.
If my voice was like I'd gargle acid or magma
Change the air filters
Thanks. General question. If the seller takes the license plate off when I buy it what plate do I put on it between there and the DMV?
Great tips!
Great advice.
thank you
You should go into voice acting haha
What about suspension and Aircon should we wait for occurrence of problem in it or get it serviced right after the purchase...??
Ok Curly,Mo will thank you.
Didn't you steal the talking chipmunks?
I think his trying to say do the oil for personal satisfaction
Change all 10 fluids
I bet you will never try mixing lsd and mdma again
I work at a fucking school and his voice just fuckin killed me
And timing belts... water pump
Useful indeed
I know that bald head cold as hell out there 😂
How do I check if a used car has tickets before I buy?
Idk
He sounds like the guy off of fist fight at the beginning
He scared me with so much energy he had😂😂
I feel bad for him honestly. All of these mean comments
Love you on MSNBC Ali Velshi!
