1st timer here Top Drop. Ben did a video on the Hangover and did state at slow speed the bait would not run well. There are 3 different sink rates for it as well, slow, medium, and fast. Depending on which one you were running will depend on the speed you need to fish it. Good to see someone on RUclips wanting to give honest opinions, we need more of that in the fishing industry! I would like to win one of those, I guess we will have to see if I do! Peace and tight lines!

I have to slow roll my swimbaits to keep them at the depth I want while using live scope, so it appears the 4 of these that I bought will not work for my needed presentation. I bought two of the slow and medium sinks, have yet to try either of them due to weather. Next time out I will test them out and if they don't perform as I need, may try the fast sink.
I bought the fast sink thinking I could slow roll it over the bottom. Boy was I wrong. Currently not a fan at all. I understand the sweet spot but it blows out so easily and does that potato roll.

Howdy Bud, I'm not speaking for him at all,(Ben Milliken). The lure tells me it is a fast retrieve style swimmer. The eye going into the back fin is to help it as much as possible to be weedless and come through cover. Hell we could even it start a new category for it's own retrieve.
Most definitely a fast retrieve lure I already caught a fish on it I like the lure when the fish are active just wish I could use it slow medium fast etc without issues. I expected more from Ben especially how he somewhat trashed the other plastic swimbaits

Good review. I placed a 2" Willow Blade at the bottom of my fast sink Hangover, I think it counters the weight distribution problem at slow retrievals. The blade almost acts as a prop to keep the bait upright 🤘
My rod had a different test line remember the underwater camera has 20lb floro. You telling me moving to 25lb will correct everything. Just asking. Please let me know

I'm suited and booted, with a few new swim baits my self, mainly fishing on bottom on Lake New Melones Berryessa, Comanche and so on.I think the hangover would definitely get some followers out here. I like the camera setup for real time evaluation footage. Keep the videos rolling!

Yea with all the bad reviews I plan on figuring it out in the pool first. May not work for everyone but I’ve seen it working for Ben. Love him or hate him he catches and does it well. Just seen mine are finally out for delivery.
Great footage. Wish I would have seen this before I purchased mine. My hangover does the exact same thing. You’re trying to be PC in the video, but the hangover is not usable. This will be the first time I try to return a swimbait.
I’m sure it’s a costly lure you might not wanna try this on- but on the yum money minnow I always use a lighter to soften the tail section right before the paddle if I’m slow rolling it.
That’s one complaint most people have with the magdraft. If you don’t have the right speed, the bait doesn’t swim right. The Hangover is the same in that aspect. The Dangerous is much more user friendly! Thanks for a chance to win one!
From what I’ve seen the slow sink is the worst on retrieval speed and buddies of mine added weight to it so that it straightens out but the speed is critical for it to run right
1st timer, I appreciate the honest opinion! I haven't been able to try the Hangover yet, but i am really digging the LINE-thru jig heads that 6th Sense makes.
Finally going to get out and try this bait this weekend. I am worried that it won't work correctly, not sure why they didn't test this bait more and make it swim right at any speed. I do know that the megabass swimbait will spin on you if you retrieve it to fast so curious to see how this bait swims in comparison to the megabass.
At the right speed it's great but there is only one right speed nothing faster nothing slower period. If they would of tested it properly to get it right at all speeds it would be king of line thru swimbaits we all expect great things from Ben that's the disappointment part
So, my research comes up with the same results. I just called them and asked to speak with someone. Hoping to have someone contact me next week, before I put my review out. I believe 6th Sense is a Top Quality company and thus my call into them. Great video!

I’m in northeast Tx, water temp today 49 so probably not good here till it warms up. It appears to not be good at a slow speed. I’m no expert at any means but I thought that is when you want to use. Thanks
Whattup top drop! The split ring was included for a bottom hook presentation, I took them off for top hook, sits more flush on the back. I intend on using these for scoping ledges in warmer water as they really only like one speed. I don't regret my purchase of 4, but I know a lot on SBU are super disappointed. Great video!
Damn, pretty much just junk! Unless you have an 8:1 reel and crank it all out the bait just flop’s from side to side! I’m not sure what it cost’s but for the $, nothing beats Savage Gear soft swimbaits! Or, just get a couple of MegaBass Mag Drafts!
New to channel. Great job. Bought a few of these when they came out. Haven’t thrown yet. Haven’t seen anyone who really likes the bait. But I feel like I made a mistake with this bait. Should have used better judgement and never trusted Milliken. He seems so money driven with no sincerity towards people who watch him. Never buy anymore 6th sense stuff. Bait also really stinks when I took one out of package.
I just didn't care for the way they went about it bashing all the other line thru and plastics. If you gonna do all that you better come correct when you drop your own product. They dropped the ball
So I have 3 slow sinks. And they roll side to side really bad when I tried to slow retrieve them. Anyone else have this issue? Do they need to be fast retrieved since they are slow sink?
Wonder if the nail weight would prevent it from spiraling. Also, on the slow retrieve, wonder if it was designed to roll like as the side to side movement was very consistent
He liked it but the public need to I mean we the ones buying the product. It will have its place but in the warmer months being you have to retrieve it faster
I had the same impressions overall. Aesthetics look great, packaging looks great. I did notice the massive split ring has to be in the right spot or else the hooks can sit a litrle funny. The retrieve speed has a very small window for the action to be just right. If you cast it and let it free fall it spirals and has a very weird 'action'. If you retrieve too slow it has this weird body roll. Great honest video keep it up Topdrop.

Damn haven’t seem much on these up here in the colder parts of the country where I fish here in Ohio would also be a late spring/summer bait. Looks damn good on the faster retrieve though.

You can drop the tail in boiling water on some baits. Start slow.

For 20 bucks for a bait I expected more. Looks like i will stick to throwing Bacca Burrito’s.

Damn haven’t seem much on these up here in the colder parts of the country where I fish here in Ohio would also be a late spring/summer bait. Looks damn good on the faster retrieve though.
You didn't say which model that was fast medium or slow sink?
Sorry bro it was the slow sink but it shouldn't make a difference with performance like the way it falls and swim at slow speeds
Thanks for the reply I got the fast model carried one to the pool after watching your video I could reel it pretty slow and it still had nice swimming action one of the eyeballs fell off on the second cast. @@BasslivesmatterLLC
have you tried chris zaldains bait yet? many say its knock off of the magdraft i wouldn't know i havent gotten into swim baits to be honest.
Haven't tried it but I heard the same I had magdrafts before no issues
