  • This is how I made a Finnish puukko knife. The handle is made of mahogny and the blade is made of high carbon steel.

    What what do you use for the handle

    Why heat treat ? Bevels are ground in a piece of steel already treated .

      I annealed the saw blade before working with it to make it softer. Thats why I heat treated it to make it hard again. Good point though!
