This 2-1 series was very high-level. Throughout the series and the whole tournament neither of these guys made mistakes. Marstellar was simply the better man that day. Both guys looked really really good throughout the tournament
Chance: one of the greatest high school wrestlers to ever do it. Didn’t break into the Oklahoma State lineup and then became an all American and almost a contender back in PA at Lock Haven. I’m happy to see him succeed. He’s an awesome wrestler and a great story about how unpredictable the sport can be
@@willflum2847 He was my coach in middle school. I went to the same school he did. His practices were brutal but it was definitely a good experience. I was 210 pounder in middle school and competed in 220 and heavyweight in highschool and was a regional qualifier. Sadly I tore both of my ACLS in junior college football and will most likely not be able to compete in wreastling ever again it sucks. His teammates in highschool were beasts as well multiple of his teammates placed in states.
Went to school and graduated from KD with Marestellar, he's insanely talented. It's been a long road for him, but I'm glad to see he's working his way back to the top. Keep it up Chance, the class of 2013 is still rootin for ya.
People talk about how Wrestling prepares you for life, and I'd wholeheartedly agree. But, and now I'm just speculating, but when you are as historically great as Chance, you go to College and you're humbled. Not because you're not good enough, but because you abuse issues...and then you make it almost all the way BACK and beat one of the best College Wrestlers we've seen, I think that teaches you even MORE than if you were just to go from HS, be great, then continue on and be great like a DT or ya know, a kid from lets say a kid from Maryland(just hypothetically😉)...I think that has to teach you just that much more. It's one thing to put in that work to become successful and constantly push yourself. And coming back from big losses and working harder, that in and of itself is more than enough. But when you come back from the edge like Chance did and you get your life back on track as he has....I just have the ultimate respect. You get past the what it's, the regrets and you get back to the top of the sport...and you look like one of the best in the world and it's just remarkable. It's awe-inspiring.
that last throw was clean

Wouldn’t say he couldn’t break in the lineup he did wrestle for them just wasn’t in the right state as he is now
@@ogot344 I don’t think 157 was right for him either. I looked it up and he was. 6-5 as a redshirt freshman

Both of these guys are superb wrestlers, after all he's been through so glad Marsteller is getting his shot at FinalX.
Both of them had impressive throws

Did chance have issues in high school or did he just run into problems in college (like a lot of other kids do?)
That dude is strong AF!
Awesome awesome series. Great to see these two guys , both with lots of heart, go to battle.
I had such high hopes for marstellar while he was in highschiol
Great to see him living up to his potential. Hope he beats JB
Marstellar has had quite the wrestling journey

Chance low single leg was a thing of beauty. Wow. The best I’ve seen. That’s beyond textbook.
Lat drops and hip tosses fuck yeah
Muy buen encuentro , me gusto la lucha , ambos son muy buenos.
Vincenzo doesn't wrestle a lot of freestyle give him a year
Quit crying
Wild
I'm still bummed that John Smith nearly ruined Marstellar. The kid should've been a 4 time All American.
@ 2:39 did Vincenzo slip and is that why they didn't give a takedown?
yes
It didn't look like a slip to me. I think the ref messed up.
‘Bag of potatoes’ throw is worth 4 points.
