Imagine being in the Olympic village. Literally surrounded by the select best athletes the world has to offer. Every person you walk by is the the epitome of athleticism.
I actually met Mr. Burroughs at an all American tournament in 2013 - the summer before my senior year in Vegas. I can completely 100% certify the humility, charm and grace of this gentleman. He not only allowed my teammates and I to interrupt his day with questions, he also took the time to take pictures with us (I still have one with him that is my favorite to this day). I can’t stress enough the positive impression he left on all of us, being as humble and kind as he was while being an Olympic gold medalist wrestler.
I never heard of this guy before, such a pity sports media doesn't promote Olympians more and give them the respect he deserves, just checked his record on Wikipedia and it's seriously impressive he should be a much more known and renowned than he is.
This guy is right about people knowing they're gonna lose. Look up the Australian who won the speed skating gold just because in the semis, and the final, all other better contestants fell over on the last turn. His coach said that was his only way of winning and was his game plan. It actually worked. Crazy! What a legend.
YES!!! As a wrestler I couldn’t believe that this was actually happening EVERYONE should go watch the whole podcast Jordan is one of the best people and is such an amazing representative for the sport of wrestling
Hey Jordan just want to say thank you, you're really a great inspiration to me in life. And seeing your wrestling and your interviews gives me a lot of hope that as long as we work hard on what we believe is right, we build a great life. really appreciate your work Jordan, thanks for being you

This guy has a smooth voice. He should do a podcast
