Yes planting your flowers along the edge is a brilliant idea. Nasturtium(I had to Google the spelling). Everything looks beautiful in your garden. Thank you so much for this lovely video. Have a wonderful holiday.
YES, A Nasturtiums border is perfect plus by leaving the seed pods fall off on their own naturally those will reseed themselves next spring. Would look so beautiful. Thank You for Sharing.💕
Hi Sarah. You got a lot done ready in time for your holibobs. Great idea keeping nasturtium seeds and yes an edge of them along the grass wil look lovely. Look forward to next years display and the sunflowers and sweetpeas too. Thanks for sharing. Xxx
So glad the lid was on those seeds! Can you imagine, we would have lost you among a forest of poppies😄. Yes to nasturtium along the edge, they will tumble down and be great cover.
As always the allotment looks spectacular and what a great idea for the nasturtiums, think it will look great!….Planning on planting some myself next season!
Hi Sarah Yes i agree that the nasturtiums will look beautiful along the bank. And it will free up a raised bed. Your signs are beautiful. You are so artistic.👍💯🤩💞
Another amazing video Sarah, I really enjoy it. It’s so beautiful to see all of the plants and flowers growing so well. Your getting to be a pro missy! Have a wonderful few weeks I hope it’s vacation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Your allotment looks good. Nasturtiums will look lovely on the edge you pointed out. I love them and you can eat the flowers and the seeds. They are tasty in salads and peppery ❤
You can actually scatter your poppy seed now as they like a cold spell. Lovely update Sarah and the seed craft seeds look fun. Happy gardening, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
You sound like me when I am doing a job, etc. I talk to myself, laugh, gripe and yes, even cuss at myself at times!!! But I get the job done!! LOL It really does help me though. My family thinks I'm batty at times. Make it a great week all !
You sure work hard in your garden.. and y08're sure creative........I live in Oklahoma and it's too hot for me to even consider a garden of any size, shape or kind.
Another great video Sarah. Perhaps try and leave the Nasturtium pods on the plant as long as possible. Like the other plants you mentioned, they’ll turn brown and dry up and that’s the time to store them for next year. The mushroom spores were probably already in the compost mix you used. Probably edible but unless you’re sure not a good idea to eat. I bought bags of mushroom compost which local companies grow mushrooms in. They then sell the leftover soil for people to use in their gardens. It does wonders for growing veggies 🙂 I also got the added bonus of tons of mushrooms that came up. Ate them after cooking in butter. Yum!
Was thinking about that grassy knoll you have there. I saw the video where you planted some flowers in the grass. So the idea I had was 6 posts strong enough to hold a broken teapot 🫖. Having then hang side ways from hook and chain. They could have some teapot lids at the top of the posts to bring home that theam. Painted posts with your choosing. Could even staple chicken wire of sorts to the back of the posts to allow up flow of vining foliage or flowers. Be pretty to see them drapped up down next season with flowers.
Hey Sarah love the way you deal with stuff ❤ had a few losses this year but I had great success with my beetroot all pickled and yummy thankyou for being you so honest 😊 gardening can be brutal but we love it❤ xx
I would agree the nasturtium would look great along the edge. I have some flower seeds I'm probably gonna send you to try next year those teddy bear sunflower seeds I told ya about and I have some hollyhock as well. But it's looking great. Always look forward to see how everything is going
Sarah you need to save your seeds in paper bags or envelopes not plastic as they will go mouldy in plastic. Pumpkins are growing well and hanging on themselve now.
Im with you on the nasturtiums along the edge, they would look great as a cascading wall. Mine didn't do great this year. They were quite leggy, not full at all. The Allotment is looking good. Thanks for sharing.
That's a nifty strimmer you've got there. Mine is a nightmare, it's one that has a cable and i'm forever having to replace the strimming line ugh! A great idea to put nasturtiums along the edge, they'd look great. Yours did really well this year! Did you eat any? Used to love them in salad. xx
