Ive used the Map and I was left more confused than anything 😂. Guys, imagine the Map like a cosmology summary for Grant Morrison's stories. Not all of the realms are shown for his work (such as the 5th Dimension, which he used in several comics) YET ALONE every writer (primarily Scott, who has added canonical expansions to it)
It was more a map of the different vibrational planes made of different sources and how they work within different layers or the lack of them, is not even about hearchy until past The Source of Wall. It was not a map of all territories which is what so many DC downplayers not understood, there wasn't much of a need to add the Microverse or clarify there were higher spatial dimensions within The Orrery of Worlds, it was implicit, the summary of the map just differenciated that all physical existence (space and time dimensions) was different from the archetypal realms, and that that was different from Limbo that lack stories, and that was different from Nil that are thoughts of The Overvoid, and that is different from the Overvoid which is nothing without narrative. It could have done better, but for Grant it was surely more important making the map specific the different types of substances that made DC and their trascendences rather than mention all locations.

Limbo is basically just infinite nothingness, with all the forgotten characters, and the monitor sphere is where the monitors would watch every universe/multiverse, NiL originally existed in the overvoid(omniverse) before Superman’s wish with the miracle machine.

This is probably why Marvel hasn't bothered to make a dedicated map for it's Multiverse. Marvel has so many dimensions not tied to the 616 universe and countless universes.
