While watching tutorials from others I must say I massively appreciate how you take the time to explain how something works instead of just saying the step-by-step instructions. I usually look at a few designs and then learn enough to make a hybrid of my own (best of all worlds, or for more particular functions or spacing conditions). It's people bothering to explain the mechanics like yourself that really help with that :)
I have played Minecraft for 12 years and you are the only person who has ever explained redstone ( when you explain it ) that makes me understand it. I'm new yet I'm looking forward to what's to come. I enjoy the content as well, I've even watched the 4hr 1000 day hardcore survival movie. Keep it up man it's hard to find genuine content like this.
Best explained farm tutorial ever fr! Explained what red stone does and how it works explained why things mess up instead of just saying don’t do that. Like fr great vid thx!
perfect timing on this vid, especially the hopper cart emptier. It helped much. I found that orientation of the hoppers in the emptier is critical for the comparator to have a constant signal. You stated a valid recommendation in the vid but at first I tried some different ones. Mine didn't work, until I did it more like what you had. Thanks again!
I'd recommend reducing the farm area to 16x16 to avoid the minecart disappearing (as commented earlier) and use flowering Azalea leaves inside a wall instead of flowers in the ground to free up space
You need to chunk align your farm and the minecart won't disappear lol if it's on the border of 2 chunks and one gets uploaded poof minecart.. also Allays are way more efficient just a fyi
@@Seanosborn861 yes it will well within a 4 chunk area . Basically don't leave the area or you chance unloading them 4 chunks and ya minecraft would disappear.

Thanks for another amazing farm Prowl, great tut as well. I play mcpe and finally got allay to use for collection system... Built this farm today in my survival world and it works great! Fast too! Should pair nicely with the cow farm 😉 Keep up the awesome work
I would recommend building the rail system inside the same chunk, as bedrock has that annoying bug that deletes minecarts entering an unloaded chunk. So, maybe restraining the area to a 16x16 blocks, all in the same chunk?
You can chunk align it and it won't have the issue . Also if you play On pc you can get foxynotails addon called markers it shows you spawn areas chunks and more. Using just a simple armored stand and banner . Different poses display Different things but it's so nice and easy to use .

Wondering if allays could simplify and increase the efficiency of a stonegenerator based moss farm. I'd be very interested in seeing you do that in the future.
One thing I would change is that instead of giving the villager 8 stacks of seeds I would only give him 1 stack of seeds and 7 stacks of beet root, since beet root cannot be planted in their crop form he will only convert a few seeds into bone meal while still picking up more seeds. The other bonus is beet root does not get composted by the villagers since it is not in its seed form. The other thing that someone might want to do is trade with the villager until his first level up as this will ensure his profession is locked nd will stay a farmer for life. Of course having it out of the way will mean no bone meal but the idea still stands. I learned this back when the villagers got their update and noticed beet root now has an actual purpose to improve farmers to do their job, also the bed thing I have experienced the farmer deciding to not work if a bed isn't close by for some reason so I just add them to the farm just to make sure.
I Am liking this build. just need to build away from both my villager breeder and my 1st working iron farm. I think 200 blocks away from both should be safe
I appreciate how informative your commentary is. Might be a crazy question, but could this be built in the nether? I know you can't use water in the nether, but you can actually get some farmland if you place seeds fast enough. So, I'm wondering, if you had maybe 4 villagers in here to stay on top of planting if that might be possible...
I am incredibly paranoid about entities despawning as they cross chunk borders, having had so many problems with that on my realm, so this farm as designed is a no-go for me. However, most of the mechanics involved are solid and the farm is pretty efficient, plus I like that you provided two different collection systems! Not perfect, but a great tutorial nonetheless!
Hey man great video, one question could this farm become stackable in anyway or will it not work because of the allays mechanics? Not tested it out yet myself just curious?
Is there any reason why you don't give the villagers a bed that they can reach and sleep in? I know they don't work during the night so I'm just trying to work out what the problem is? Thanks
You can most definitely use villagers that’s been breed with bread as long as the babies were separated after birth, just need to be smarter than the villager
I made this farm in survival (with mine cart collection), but my bees aren't interested in the flowers. They are all clustered near the roof on the north side above the 4 hives. I don't understand why. I can't even get their attention while holding flowers. The farm is exactly as shown in the video, but I got fancy and added a roof made of copper slabs. Any ideas?
There is currently a bug where slabs break their path finding. It is fixed in the current preview that will eventually go live... for now you need to replace those slabs with full blocks
I tried building my own version of this a couple days ago, infernal villager kept composting things. I didn't know you couldn't just stick a block on top of the composter to block it anymore.
So frustrated! I brought a villager from my breeder farm. It would link to the composter but it wouldn't pick up the seeds. I did this twice (different villager each time) and still no luck. Please, please - any idea where I'm going wrong. I love this farm and I really want to make it work. Any help will be much appreciated! BTW, Love, love, love your tutorials. DO NOT COVER VILLAGER MACHINES WITH GLASS! Reason: If you accidentally trigger a raid on the village inside the machine and complete the raid the villagers will shoot fireworks.
