I have this bag, and I agree with all points. It is a great bag for commuting but not a whole lot else. It will fit a 15'' Mac Book Pro no problem with shoes and a light jacket. I find getting into the bag a bit of an issue, but here is the upside to the pack opening on the backside - you can't put on the bag and have it open. That is, if it is on your back, it is essentially closed. No more leaving a zip open on accident. Also one thing to note is the elastic bands on the cinch straps for the shoulder, sternum and waist straps. They keep the extra webbing from flapping around in the wind. On my previous pack I would have to use electrical tape to keep them in place. And lastly...the way he put the bag on is the only way to put it on when using the waist strap.
Got my mach 5 at some random shop for 140$ with tax and all 3 years ago. Still have it, its still in good shape and it's still my favorite bag to ride with!
My trick to putting this bag on is to leave the LHS shoulder strap left undone. Insert right arm thru RHS strap then using right hand pull LHS upper strap over shoulder and clip into lower LHS strap
nice and simple. I personally am a bigger guy, 265, 6,1 and have no issues getting it off and on with a sport jacket. It migh help that I backpack and am used to that kind of stuff. great video and demo
I have this same pack. Tip! Unless you want it looking like a homeless persons pack very quickly? All you have to do is carry a soft medium size towel in it so you can put that down before you lay it down to retrieve the rest of the items inside.
As you've mentioned that the bag is water resistant and not water proof, have you tried using the rain cover that the bag comes with(this was mentioned in a revzilla video)? If yes, how good is it?
Torn between this and the Dakar 3 liter hydration pack. This one is hydration ready but probably too big for my requirement. Also I ride a Triumph Speed Twin and a Tiger 800. Suggestions?
Since you seem to be the only reviewer that mentions the small fanny pack how does your wallet and garage door opener fit? Is it just big enough or do you still have more room? How long is it?
Wallet and opener fills it up. A wallet/phone combo is tight, too. Overall, it's pretty small and doesn't fit much. Roughly 6"x4" and 1.5" wide. There is a little fabric divider sewn to one inner wall that makes a 5"x3".
The other thing I wish they company offered is different sizes. You touch on this subject little bit, but sometimes I only have few thing that I want to carry and find it to be too bulky. Otherwise its a good product
Good review! I can't comprehend someone thinking that NoDrag means back protector .... anywhoo .... I wanted to get a hard shell too but opted for a regular OGIO backpack just so I can use it when off the motorcycle. And it really surprised me how much aero-dynamic it is. vagina
Maybe if you were desperate, but it would be busting at the seams! It's pretty full with a laptop, shoes, extra face shield, and sweatshirt jammed in there.
Best Review I have seen on an item in a long time. Straight to the point and informative. Just what I was looking for. Thanks so much.
This guy needs more subs.

Best review of this backpack and I have watched them all.
Hi...
You can unclip one of the shoulder straps...
That makes it easier for you to put in or take it off..

Cool video. Would you still by this bag today or is there something else based on experience now that you would alternatively choose.

Nice Scorpion SGS gloves. Those were my first gloves, and my favorite gloves ever! I have the new Mark II's and they suck in comparison for my taste.

i got one this bag so awesome pairing on my triumph rs
I actually put the hip bag on the shoulder strap so it will never fall off. I do not use the waist strap. Do you think that can cause an issue?

@@Dutchman0 awesome! Thanks so much.
How critical is the waist strap? Is the pack unstable or blow around without using the waist strap?
No, it's not that big of a deal. Some people say they just cut it off.
Real late to the game, but is the extra Visor protector/pocket removable or is it sewn into the bag? Thanks, awesome Video btw.
Is the waist band fully removable? Is that Velcro that holds the straps?
This come with a rainproof cover?
Where can i buy the waist strap and pouch ? Lost on the highway

nice review. btw, is this bag can carry a full-faced helmet inside? I've heard there are expansion zippers, some say it can carry but some say can't.
Thank you for your reply!
Is this good for long rides..over 4-5 hours on a single run? Or do your shoulders give up under stress ...
the backpack looks badass however i do not own a bike so... everyday backpack??

Thanks! Not sure how that bag is possibly worth nearly $200.
Hi, would you recommend this bag for touring ?
What is the difference between mach 3 and mach 5?
Hey Moto Dutchman, what gloves are they?
I bought the Dainese version and the left shoulder strap ripped within a week 😐
Moto Dutchman the thing is it’s like a cheaper version of the same bag in the video only thing Dainese did was slap their logos all over it
What is the price?
Sir what is the price of bag in Indian currency
Great review mate. I also roll the Mach 5 and yes the waist bag is a bitch to put on at times :(. I will start to using your method now :D
I used it today to work, brilliant method mate :). Cheers for sharing
Excellent review!!!!!!!!
Can it fit a helmet inside?
