Had my Mach 3 for 4 years now. Commute every day, still like new. Bought the waterproof cover for it but never use it, have never had water inside the bag without it. Waterproof cover is hi-viz and reflective.
4:30 the off-set buckle. Yes, however, that side of the buckle is so far to the left side that it makes it very difficult to reach it with the other buckle in your right hand. I own a Mach 5, and while it is comfortable on the bike, it is not a very practical every-day backpack. Pretty much the only times I use it is when I go for an overnight and want to take my naked bike rather than my touring bike.
sure looks cool and the quality is great because it is ogio. HOWEVER i am daily driving an ogio 27 liter backpack for 4 years and i have no issues at all. plus its more practical than this.
ОGIO backpacks r awesome! I got one from Husqvarna when I bought a Vitpilen 401 and now 2 bikes later it is still amazing. Back protector integrated and all.
I've owned three mach 5s, each one hoping they improved the "cf" material or whatever it is, because it flakes. All three right at the bottom where the crease all join, the cf pattern/material flakes off. Looking into the alpinestars Charger pro next.
Can some one confirm, what this guy said about Mach 1 being 22L capacity? I thought Mach 1 and Mach 3 were 18.4L capacity? I still think Mach 1 is the best deal for the price, maybe Mach 3 is some reseller has a deal on it, Mach 5 does not provide much for that price point when in comparison with other 1 and 3 models.
I'm on the fence as well, I just want to carry a few things when I go out, plus the Mach 1 is only a pound and is compact. If I was going to travel I'd get the expandable Mach 5...
Out of curiosity how do you prevent snagging and scratches to the plastic wrap on the outside of the backpack. I just got one and it has a small scratch that I’d like to prevent from getting any bigger.
@@yfz450lrd Better to keep one of the guns in a holster though, it's not very fast to access them from the backpack. Then use the extra space in the backpack for a heroin brick instead, takes up about the same space as a G19.
Overpriced for what it does. A quality standard backpack works much better, more convenient, holds more and wo t break the bank. If you're dead set on this design, find a knockoff on any major website and get one for a fraction of the cost.
I’m sorry. How much drag is a regular backpack causing while commuting? You’re not riding a bicycle. The engine is doing all the work. I’m all for a “cool” backpack, but marketing their aerodynamic shape as anything less than a gimmick is pretty dumb.
It’s not about the drag on the motor, it’s the drag on YOU, the rider. I used to ride with a regular backpack and I could feel the wind tugging at the backpack. I got the Mach 5 and can’t even tell I have a backpack on when riding, barely even notice it when I’ve got it loaded down.
My god, the bitterness you must feel on a daily basis has to be overwhelming. Sorry your life sucks so bad. I feel bad for everyone in your life that has to interact with you on a regular basis. It must be so pleasant to be in your presence.
Does anyone know of a backpack large enough to hold the helmet on the inside and not on the outside? I'm trying to keep my helmet away from plating dust thats flying around at the factory I work at.
folk will spend their money on any old shit these days. a bags just a bag man. youd be better off just getting a normal rucksack and spending the rest of the money of something useful like a weekend away.

can it hold a laptop?
@@MohammadHamza yes, it can hold a laptop and an ipad at the same time.

peak design everyday (zip) backpacks are also really nice since they also have a bit of a hard-ish shell. They also look much better
many thanks for your comment
Wow reflective material on the piping. Good to see they are taking their customers safety so seriously.
i carry a laptop (large laptop), brake disc lock, laptop charger, sweater, textbook and there is still space for some more (Ogio mach 3)
can you put a 17" laptop in the dedicated pocket?

can it hold a laptop
@@MohammadHamza yes it does. It has a pocket for up to 17 inch laptop. And another pocket for up to 11 inch device like a tablet

does your helmet fit in these bags?
@@masum.rumi7 ... yeah, but it presses against your back(bell race star).

Does the Mach 5 also have a strap to carry helmet? Saw it in product description.
Mach 1 is 22 or 45 litres ? Coz the website says it’s 45
I wonder the safety in case of falling from the bike with that on? What will happen to my spine v no backpack? (I do wear a spine protector btw)
Great video Joe 👍🏼

I need to know how much cocaine and guns this holds ASAP.
4 kilos and 2 Glock 19's ask me how I know

I will do just that. Thanks!
Hey.. fits a Helmet inside of Mach 5?
I'm pretty sure he said helmet visor not helmet, so you can bring a clear one with you and keep a tinted one on your helmet

Is the Dainese version better or worse than the Mach5
Where do I find the hydration pack for my backpack on your website
What about the Mach S?
Yes exactly

7 years of riding with a regular backpack, never had an issue. I don’t understand the need for a $100+ “motorcycle” backpack
Very similar to Speed-walkers needing aerodynamic helmets..hehe

Anyone knows if it is choc resistant? Just wondering if it's safe to put a laptop in it.
Yes
A pair of shoes fills up most of the interior of that bag.
There is just no way I will wear a back pack riding a motorcycle. Why, I like my spine the way it is, not twisted should I go down.
Best alternative..? Go

Like all motorcycle gear, overpriced.
Way overpriced. Same or better backpacks on Amazon for less than $100. Most around $50.
Ogio sucks. Don't buy. They are put together with glue and the glue is so bad...the just fall apart. Not good for travel or commute. 👎👎👎
