I just love the A340-600. It's just the most beautiful plane combined with the most beautiful cockpit. I am glad I got a couple hours behind the stick in that thing (LH Level D Sim).
My wife and I took this Iberia flight ( not the same as the video )from Mexico City to Madrid and back this past October. It was absolutely one of the best flight we've ever had. The 340-600 is a dream to fly on. Too bad they're being slowly being phased out.
She is still Airbus' most beautiful/handsome model. I can't understand why this beauty was removed from production. Could continue with NEO engines. It was such a shame.😔
JP.....Good Evening! Beautiful to see this crew and the views! Captain with charisma....respect! Many thanks again and have a nice "weekend" Greetings Betsy.
It's an amazing process to witness. Also, it's unreal how far the Pilot must pass his intended turning point to get the nose wheel lined up correctly. I remember flying out of Mexico City and the rate of climb and left banking was actually a little scary...
I thank you very much for this video!!!! The 340-600 is one of my favorite airplanes to see above Mexico City, my hometown ^^ . Now Looking everything from the flight deck is much appreciated.
Very interesting indeed! Thus I just have a little of understanding of what you're showing. But I really feel like I'm behind your seat for the whole flight. Love it very much! Thanks so much, Captain. Blessed and lovely flight to you, your crews and all pax. Loves from Cambodia.
This is a great full-length video. Great walkaround, cockpit presentation and many other things. I have it on DVD and would like to get it again on HD download.
its the aural alert for a mode reversion. Its an airbus feature informing you that you have gone a step below in your automation/landing capability. In this case it was because CAT III A switching to CAT I .
@@jlpl_HL That is not true ... if an airline like Iberia is Spanish and enters a territory where it also speaks Spanish like MEXICO, they can speak Spanish without problems .. they always have! and they continue to do so ... simply here in this video the safest thing is that they warned you that they would ask for the instructions in English, so that you would understand them. clever.
Here in Mexico ALWAYS an IBERIA arrives, they are given instructions in Spanish. and that's how it has always been .. that's why it seems strange to me that this video isn't like that.
This weekend only SAVE 50% on all IBERIA Cockpit Films (5 programs!)

The A340 is such a beautiful aircraft. It's a real shame so much airlines are getting rid of them...
They shall renew the plane.

Excelente. Muy buena la toma del min 08:15. Saludos desde Argentina.
These videos never get old. And aboard my favourite aircraft on top of this. It's great. Thanks.
This is the guy I want in the cockpit when I am flying!
170Kts GS upon touchdown that’s crazy! High density altitude really hit’s differently
I never knew the A340 had these cameras too. I always thought they started using them on the A380
moinmoin most planes have that now, if they didn’t they added them as regulations form the AFA
Nice! Love de A340
Loving ❤A340-600❤

@@Kunald1405 Thank you! I always ask but everyone says autopilot turn off. Which is the wrong clicks... Thank you so much!
I love A340-600
I liked this video so much because the angle of video recording behind captain's seat was awesome... Nice view thanks
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
you need calibrating that TAWS and barometre system, sound like it not calibrating when you landing
Good to see this A340-600, one of the lengthiest of all the other airbus.
Soumyadeep Bhattacharya it is the lengthiest Airbus
👍🏻
Seems water on the sides of the runway. Am I right??
no
Iberia😍
This was taken on 12 Jul 12
It seems they were about to pull into the gate and they still had not retracted the slats. LOL.

That's a confusing mixture of Spanish and English by the ATC for a Spanish airline.
For ATC with spanish language, they have obligation to speak in english with internacional flights only, by domestic flights can use spanish, usually!
@@jlpl_HL Yeah, it's the same here in Spain. It's just strange to listen to even though I can understand both languages.

Jaja me da risa ese piloto, se cree gringo jajsjaja y es más hispano que nada. Que onda?
