I am a male with literally NO hair at the moment who NEVER uses any type of hair products but I really like watching your videos, they’re very fun to watch
For anyone with kinky/coily hair type 4 hair, you have to do a lot of prep work before using. The dudes hair was already pre- stretched..making it appear as if it was a “one stroke” curly to straight process.
To be fair, most people with really thick, tight curls stretch/blow dry their hair before straightening anyway. I doubt anyone with type 4 hair would want to go in with that thing without stretching their hair 😂 I know I wouldn’t.
I bought this a few months ago for my 4c, frizzy, dry hair. It has cut my press and curl time down by half maybe less. It always stays hot and I can get so close to my scalp that I didn't need to go back over it with a flat iron. My hair was so smooth and soft and my house didn't small like burnt hair. I swear by it I have told all my family and friends about it. I love this product.
When straightening hair it's best to use thin 1 inch wide type sections and to section your hair in larger areas first and work from back to front. That way you aren't taking large pieces which are harder to straighten, then it takes more time therefore more heat damage. Always use a straightening product that's right for your hair type & that can protect it from heat. Get as close to the root as you can without burning the scalp and spend minimal time on the ends. Also brush your hair before, during and after. The brush chase method works wonders too. If you blow dry your hair as straight as possible beforehand with heat protectant in your hair before going over with any type of straightener, that will help get the sleek look you want. I've been straightening my curly hair with all kinds of tools for over 20 years. My tips might not work for everyone, or all hair types or damaged hair but I wanted to share in case someone else could use the help.
Your wonderful for sharing thank you . I have beach blond hair and I want nice straight hair for once . Can’t afford a dyson do you think this straighter is a good one thank you honesty.
For someone with poker straight hair who has never used straighteners ever, I watch these vids totally bemused...you ppl with curly hair are soooooo lucky! Your hair is thick and beautiful. I'd swap with any of you any day! 🥰😁
I've dealt with very curly hair my whole life and I say the same as you just opposite! I've never been able to straighten my hair to where it looks good it always has a frizz to it and I always say God I wish I could straighten my hair! I've even thought about buying the Dyson but the price is extreme. We always want what we don't have! Lol So I totally understand how you feel 🥰😁
have been using this straightener for more than 2 years, and i am in love with it everytime i use it! it never fails to keep my hair straight and shiny, it also doesnt make my hair oily unlike with using other straighteners, but the only downside i could think of about this straightener is that, it is hard to clean, as overtime hair products and other products could build up on this straightener and you might find it very difficult to keep it clean! overall, the product as a whole is great at doing its job!
I just bought this based on this video. I have thick, naturally curly hair that frizzes really easily. I just used it for the 1st time & it is amazing!! My hair was previously straightened, but I've been pony tailing all week, so it's not super straight by any means. It straightened in 1 stroke, but I did go over it again just to be how I like it. It took about 15-20 minutes to my normal 45 minutes. The real test will be from freshly shampooed & full-on curly. But I have confidence in this one! Thank you!!
Your hair is so gorgeous, worn naturally or straightened with this iron. Sometimes people with really naturally curly hair, once they straighten it, the hair looks kind of dry/damaged/frizzy. Yours is sleek and smooth and so beautiful!
I have it and I love it. It’s not perfect but it still works. I usually pass it on medium heat first so that it doesn’t heat up too much when it’s still untangling and then use it on high heat to finish it off.
I bought this like 2 years ago and I swear by it. I'm mixed and have 3c hair. It's not a 1 stroker though. I usually do one pass under and one over. It used to take me 2 hours to straighten my long hair but with this and some sectioning, 30 mins flat.
My main things are that it work really well on thick hair AND I am wayyyy less likely to be burnt. As someone basically scared of flat irons being close to my scalp I believe this is a God-given product. 😌
Love the tests but I do think it'd be better to have those who straighten their hair often to try it out so they can actually compare it to regular straightners. People who don't ever straighten their hair are going to have a ta-da reaction no matter what because they've never seen their hair straight! Love the video but just think this approach provides really skewed results
My grandmother straightens her hair often. I mean the only time I don’t see her hair straighten is when we go swimming during the summer and It worked really good on her thick dyed hair, it could have looked even better if done with products.
Most people who straighten their hair regularly already have a good straightener or even a favorite. This is for the people who don't straighten their hair due to over burden of complexity
This tool is a game changer! I’m terrible at straightening my hair, literally even after straightening it, it’s poofy! But y’all this tool…got my hair bone straight!! I LOVE IT!! 😍😍😍 I have curly hair btw
Your friend that wants volume, do it from underneath, as she was doing, but start right next to the roots and go upwards slowly with each strand. I’ve got thin hair and it works really well for me, much better than my straighteners.
Hi there finally someone with thin hair . Is this one good just kuz so many out there . And I’m a college student on a rest budget . I have seen the dyson but who can afford that . Saw the revlon reviews are terrible gives so much breakage…. Help please thank you dear .
I bought this off of IG and last week it was used for the 1st time. I probably won't be using my flatiron anymore. It was so easy to use and didn't burn my scalp like I have before with my flatiron, definitely was surprised!
I don’t see how it’s faster than a straighteners especially when it needs multiple passes and it’s still not sleek. My cloudnine gives me pin straight hair in one pass.
I would use it on my already pretty straight hair to just comb through and smooth it out, but I agree with what you are saying! It might be good for people with disabilities such as blindness though ?
@@internetplustv Yes- people with vision complications are typically more “in-tune” with their sense of touch and as a person with 20/20 vision- I like the feeling of silky straight hair so I can only imagine what it feels like to a vision impaired person.

Thank you SOOOOO MUCH for adding different hair types! I hate searching for a product review only to see 1 type of hair. Very well done. Liked and fallowing now!
I bought my Tymo right after The Pandemonium started and love it. I used to sit under my hair dryer for 30-40 minutes and it was awful in the summer. If I used a flat iron, my normally dry hair would look greasy right away. With this, I can let my hair air dry and heat comb through it the next day and it still keeps its volume. Just wish it was a little narrower so I could curl at the ends more.
Just because your hair is full and curly doesn't mean it is thick. If the strands are fine then you need to use the lowest heat setting. Density is different from strand thickness.
Here is what I do when I straighten the back of my hair, I use a rat tail comb and section off my hair and I create little ponytails or little buns all over my hair then I use my cest la vie TAME straightening brush to iron the hair and it's so much easier and another tip I would like to add is that, don't worry abt ur hair getting burnt or whatever the straightening brush won't damage ur hair immediately upon applying heat to it so take ur time with ironing ur hair, hold the straightening brush to ur roots and brush slowly and I normally wait a few seconds before moving on to the length of my hair mainly because it makes my hair flat after 1 stroke but don't hold the iron for too long otherwise ur hair will burn
This is amazing. I love the diverse hair types. I'm a guy that likes wearing my natural curls, but this will definitely work on my 3b, 3c, 4a texture. Yip I got 3 different texture😁😁
I got this straightener comb and I found it too heavy to hold and handle. It straightens your hair but not as well as a flat iron. I love the glove that comes with it, I use it when I flat iron my daughter’s hair.
I have 4C hair and I blow dry my hair before using this. I wouldn’t dare put it on my hair in its natural state. The results are still so amazing though. However It’s hard to get that silky smooth texture at my ends because it doesn’t grip on like a flat iron.
Sometimes our ends don't do well because we need a trim. I have at least 4 inches to trim off b4 I move forward with straightening. Iguess that's not really 'a trim'. I wear twists now.
I highly recommend blow drying ur hair straight first before flat ironing it, it makes ur hair silky smooth and ur hair just looks better and it makes straightening ur hair easier aswell and as a person with Indian hair my hair looks better when I blow dry it first then I iron it then it looks natural
Omg your friends are adorable. His face when you said 410 degrees was priceless. And i actually just straightened my hair today and it took me about an hour and a half. Could you let us know how long it took you guys
as a woman with super straight hair I have to curl my hair to make it less flat on the top of my head😂 and the girl has sooo beautiful natural curly hair omg
This seems like an easier and safer product to use on people with fairly straight to wavy hair. I think there are better products out there for those with curls and thick coils.
Nice my hair is in between your hair and your friends wavy frizzy poofy hair lol I've had my eye on this one when I seen Malibu test it out a couple of weeks back, and the thing I think it is, is because of it being a hair straightening comb/brush, that is what does it so good, now people don't have to use a comb to hold on hair at the same time as the straightener👍 amazing!!
I have one of these and their straightening hair curler. I haven’t thrown away my Babyliss appliances but these were ok to me. The curling iron/flat ion one was my favorite tho!
I love mine. Got it for xmas last year and after a year of weekly use i still love it. Leaves my hair super shinny straight n with nice body and bounce. I have curly puffy frizzy thick hair if it helps anybody.
