you’re literally the only makeup artist i follow bc it feels as though everybody else does makeup videos assuming their audience knows how to apply makeup ty for making videos like this for ppl who have no idea what they’re doing and are just starting to attempt to do their own makeup
Yup me too. I never followed anyone else because I always feel they miss something when explaining. It’s like how did they end up like that. It’s like skipping the seasoning when cooking tikka masala and expecting it to taste like tikka masala. It’s not going to work.
I was putting the contour after the foundation and yes, it was work to blend into the face. I will most definitely place the contour underneath my foundation. I am so glad I've come across this video. Thank you
I’ve learned so much from you just within these few months of finding you than I have from any other makeup artist. You’ve become my favorite makeup/beauty channel and I can’t wait to learn more! Thank you Nina!
Nina - I've just discovered your channel and I love it! I'm 60 years old and have always adored make-up. I'm shocked at how much I've learned since watching your videos. You have certainly taught this old dog some great new tricks. Thank you of doing what you do!
Hi Nina, I have been faithfully watching your tutorials and following your lessons. May make-up applications have improved so much, and my make up.looks great. Now, I just have to learn how to apply eyeliner, and eyebrows. My eyeshadow application is getting better. Thank you for explaining all your techniques in such a simple and easy way to apply. You're such a great teacher .
Dear Nina. Love to see your tutorials. Love natural healthy makeup and I've learned so much with you. I bought Dior foundation in store looks fab at home looks orange. Now I know how to fix it by mixing other lighter tone.
I wish i could get Nina to help me find the right color foundation . I feel like i never pick the right color. Im Mexican and my complexion has changed so much through out the years. Even now from summer to winter my complexion has lighten up. Anyway Nina i wanted to tell you thank you so much for all the useful and awesome content you have been providing us . I have learned so much !!!
Girl same! I am 24 and till this day I can’t find the right foundation or concealer 🤦🏻♀️.. still learning and stores lights don’t help and most helpers there don’t help much . I’ve bought hundreds of foundation worth and don’t watch when I get home 🥺
Oh my god! You are literally the best and the prettiest make up educator I have come across to date 👌🏽 I have no idea how I cane across your videos but once I started watching them I am hooked!! After spending loads and loads of money on makeup during lockdowns 😂 now I see your vids!! You are literally so honest and genuine and I ended up buying more products (can you believe) that you use in your vids and I am in love with how certain shades and colours I would probably never ever have gone for such as the Marc Jacobs contour stick and the hollywood lipstick… I am now obsessed 🥰 thank you thank you thank you doll - keep the great vids rolling Queen xx
Just wanted to thank you for all the tips, tricks and info given for us to do a better and flawless makeup. Also, I thought I’d tell you, I just ordered an entire line of Whind products. 🤗 can’t wait to receive and try.
Absolutely love your video's but I'm still struggling to get flawless foundation, my foundation looks dotty and shiny through the day and slides of at the end of the day , I'm not actually using skincare products ATM, I've seen your video's on skincare so I will now follow them steps before applying foundation. I'm wanting some advice on how to get my foundation flawless, I have dull oily skin & large pores .would appreciate any advice 5hank you ❤👍
What’s the best way to clean beauty blenders? I feel like there’s always residue left in the sponge when I wash it. Love your channel and have learned so much! Thanks for making makeup fun and exciting again 🤍
Oh my god this is so helpful....I realise now what I was doing wrong. Because I wanted to know when to apply powder and contour as I was not sure its before or after. Thanks a lot. Please if you can help with how to apply blush.
You are easily my Top MUA RUclipsr. You are so generous in sharing your knowledge. Please make more videos discussing olive undertone. It’s so difficult to find a shade out there. Sometimes, I don’t have the time to mix foundations just like what you did 😅
How do you know if you have Olive under stones to your skin? I’m typically warm but I feel like when I try warm foundations/concealers, they tend to look either too yellow or too orange-y. I’ve tried some neutral ones but even those I feel like they look a bit off. I know for sure I’m not a cool/pink undertone. Thanks!
Hi Nina! First of all, Your tutorials are great!! Thank You. Because I have freckles and brown spots, I’d like to know what foundation would you suggest or recommend that I should use for full coverage?
Thank you! One option is Tarte shape tape concealer for coverage and then a lighter coverage foundation like EX1 or you can just go for a full cover foundation like Huda Beauty Faux Filter, KVD good apple foundation balm or Too Faced Born this way foundation. Hope this helps 😊
You are the best makeup educator on RUclips🙌. What foundation is best for enlarged pores dry skin and very dry climate please ( Calgary , Canada 🇨🇦) Thank you 🙏
You and I would be great friends! Everyone makes fun of me because I use peppermint mocha creamer and a dash of vanilla creamer in my coffee, but I swear it’s delicious!!! I’ve been binge watching your videos today!! Hope you have a great weekend! ❤️
I found a nifty treat that if I use a foundation with a red undertone it makes me seem more Bronzed up if I wanna go for that beach look. But I have a warm yellow olive undertone.
Thank you so much for another amazing video! I’m truly learning so much from you. What foundations would you recommend for mature skin that has some flaws that need covering (acne scars) but that doesn’t make your face look like you’re wearing a mask? I know for your mom, you’ve used the Fenty one but honestly her skin is flawless! Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated! Stay safe and thank you again!!!! 💖😍😉🤩💕
Do you have to put foundation on your neck as well? I always found it not necessary if you have the right shade but I’m not sure! Thankful for your videos finally found a makeup artist I actually like easy to understand and want to follow! 💞
Hi Nina! I recently found your channel and I’m OBSESSED! I’m learning so much for real. But I can’t seem to find your video about finding out which undertone I have, could you please link it here? Thank you so much⭐️ Love from Sweden🇸🇪❤️
You have helped me learn so much! Thank you! Any tips for under my eyes? I follow your tips and still can't seem to find a solution with the wrinkles and foundation in the creases. Wish I could share a picture.
Hello, Nina! I really loved this video! As I'm getting older (now 46yo), I'm starting to notice some dark/age spots, mainly on my forehead. I'm having a terrible time covering them, as their texture seems to come through any concealer or foundation that I put on. Is there anything you might suggest? Help!
Nina, what’s your opinion on setting sprays? There’s a lot of mixed reviews of Mac fix plus and I’ve seen the trend of using rose water as a setting spray. Would love to know your opinion please? ❤️
My go to has been MAC Studio fix fluid but as I get older I feel like I need something a little lighter in coverage.Think I just might try the Dior foundation, would you recommend for dry skin?
Love love your channel ❤️, qq: do you have a tutorial on sweat and waterproofing foundation? I've learnt some great techniques from you but I sweat all the beauty off and end up looking like a hot mess🥲🥲🥲
Is it possible that there is no makeup that matches me at all? I've tried every existing foundation colour ever and I always look orange, this includes trying warm, neutral and cool with different colours too and even mixed other foundations...should I give up?
I have extremely dry skin and some foundations still oxidize on me. Really no part of my face is oily unless it’s summer time and I’m sweating. Frustrating
Even if your skin is dry you will still have oils (not visible) that can interact with the foundation, it may be that or just down to the foundation type - maybe try using a good primer like MILK hydro grip
How do you have zero lines or wrinkles under your eye, or on eyelids or crows feet?? Do you use Botox or fillers? I am totally jealous!! Nothing works for me with makeup around eyes
I feel like I’m registered in a college course with all the educational videos Nina has been dropping! Nina’s on fire with all this amazing content!👏🏽

Another great video Nina. Also it was cute that your husband brought you Starbucks.
🥰
What foundation and concealer is the best for wrinkles and dry skin? Im 57 and I’m looking for a natural look. Thank you!❤️
You can find some videos which mention the right products under my ‘mature’ playlist
Is cream foundation better than liquid for matured skin?
I’d opt for liquid
@@NinaUbhi1 thank you so much for responding, you are the bestest ever!!!!
Can you use powder bronzer or contour under liquid foundation?
No, powder should be on top of liquid
@@NinaUbhi1 I meant can a powder bronzer or contour be used UNDER liquid foundation?
Is it still a good idea to use powder if you have more fine lines, especially under the eyes?
You can still use but just ensure it’s a translucent powder with no coverage
So it’s ok to only use foundation?
I know you use setting powder, how do you feel about setting spray? I am 61 and I’m afraid to use powder. What do you think, I can use your help.
Video coming soon on this!
I really can’t wait! Thank you.
(Dread eye creases)
Peppermint mocha 😍
You know it’s the best 😍

I get Botox around the eyes once a year 👀
I’ve spent so much time and money trying to find my perfect shade 😔
Hopefully this helps in some way ❤️
