“Ryan Hunter Shatters Records: Francis Marion’s Javelin Prodigy Dominates Conference Carolina”

Men’s track and field. In hindsight, I shouldn't have been surprised when I met this young man's parents at the 2nd meet of the season. Is he really that good at track and field, they asked. He doesn't really talk about himself much. Since he's a quiet, humble young man, it was my pleasure to serve as his hype man then and now. Going into this writing, he's leading Conference Carolina in the javelin.
He has won 3 of 4 javelin competitions, being undefeated for the past 3 meets. During this run, he broke the 38 year old school record. In addition to his arm, he's also pretty fast. In his last regular season meet, he tied the 29 year old school record with a 100 meters with a time of 10.86. He also competes in the 200 meters, shot put, discus, and anchored by 4 by 100 relay team.
The most valuable player award for men's track and field goes to junior Ryan Hunter.
