I appreciate the effort that went into the new style but to me they just look 'gunked up' as the detail as been obliterated by the contrast, thickness of paint, clumsy highlighting (made worse by the massive shift in colour gradient) all just end up making these a major F in my books. As I said tho I appreciate the idea just the 'muddy tron' look doesn't do it for me personally!

The scheme isn't my forte but they look good nonetheless! A tip though. I would thin your paints more, multiple thin coats is a lot better than one thick one. As thicker coats tend to cover up small details. Absolutely wonderful job though!
