Fair play putting your life at risk. The sooner they reinstate the hard shoulder the better. If those idiots in charge spent the money they are taking off motorists on improving the road network every bodies lives would be safer and more stress free.
I know I’m stating the obvious.

The tire and wheel were fine, the problem was that the wheel nuts were 2 miles back, up the road. someone forgot the tighten the nuts properly. You would have thought that the driver would have felt the vibration on the steering.

I've had two garages do this to me - luckily I caught it both time by checking the nuts when I got home. The first one left all five bolts finger tight, the other time they over tightened the nuts so much that the hub studs sheared off. Luckily I noticed this when I had two out of five remaining... had to replace the whole hub.

Thanks Greg. Great to see Highways onto it covering your back on the M6 'live lane flat tire job'. In my youth I had a very similar 'loose/lost wheel' incident on a gravel road and had to pinch a few wheel nuts to get going again. Blame the mechanic who was DIY me 😞Thanks for the content, its all very much appreciated.

Hyundai normally pretty good, very reliable but biggest flaw is rust. just on to my 2nd i20, first one gen 1 just normal wear tear items overall over 5 years it was cracking car, passed every mot with clean pass no advisory, only thing let the car down was paint, and few areas starting to rust but for 100k miles and little work it required cracking little car. what what annoyed me a little the face lift one really should been a rear lift so they could fix the flaw body on boot just below wiper body window rust out the rest car was great so rear lift instead face lift would fix a huge design flaw what should been a recall, go coast wales and look at them wow some shocking examples. reason i mention face lift mine was 2011 so cheap tax one but across the road to me he had 2013 face lift his one far worse than mine. but mine was so good to me ive now upgraded to 2015 shape one same engine but top spec so pan roof, heated seats and wheel and so much more but now i know flaws soon im booking car it for a huge going over and plan to rust protect it as i will keep it a very long time,, mechanically just do the chain at 100k miles but still got 50k to go so that way off as they tend to go 100-120 k reason why estimate life span only 140k if more knew it be up to 200k average miles if not a lot more, old one 100k easy passed all smoke tests passed very easy so was not 2/3 through it life was not burning oil it ran very smooth , the case more you know the better then it can be long lived. next step my newer i20 rust protection, full Hyundai service history it was from retired guy who worked for Hyundai he upgraded but my eyes downgraded to 2024 i20 as now 1.0 liter all you can get i know cause it had private plate on first images i seen so think 5 years searching for right one paid off

Good evening pal, just thought I’d let you know I think your RUclips channel is brilliant. I’ve subscribed and I’m keen to learn more. I’m wondering if I could pay you for a 5/10 minute chat over the phone sometime. I’m hoping to start my own transport company in the Manchester area and would love a few pointers if you have the time. I’m going to have think about who I know that would be suitable for your camera work. Have you found someone yet? I’ve messaged you on Instagram👍🏻
