I recommend using a vac (I used the one at the car wash) to suck out debris then do the swap.

I changed the one on my 02 Camry XLE and it was full of acorns 😂 it looked like it had never been changed some had gotten in the Fan and when it ran sounded like the clicker on the bingo ball drove me nuts 😂

Fun fact. The 09 dodge grand caravan 3.3l v6 does not have a cabin air filter.
