Big difference! We have to go to the dealership to have our key fob reprogrammed today. Our cabin air filter needs to be replaced and I was going to have them do it, but after watching this, I'm confident we can spend 1/6 and do it ourselves. Heck, I may even have my 10-year-old daughter watch this and give it a try just so she can experience the satisfaction of fixing something on our car.
Thank you! I changed ours to see if it was causing very weak air pressure coming from the AC vents. Sure enough! After changing the cabin air filter, it went from a soft blow to a hurricane coming from the vents!
Thanks for the video, her van same year had low heat coming out of the heater vents, it was cold in the van during this winter. I watched your video and removed the cabin air filter, now it gets nice and toasty warm. Tomorrow new cabin air filter done deal. Thanks again.
Nice video. I found it a little easier to get to it if you disconnect the plastic cord on the left side of the box so it drops out of the way and gives you a little more clearance. Either way it's pretty easy to do.
Fabulous video! Firestone quoted me $46.99 parts/$22.99 labor to change this filter. I bought one from Amazon for $14.00 and had it installed in less than 5 minutes. Thanks!
I never changed mine myself but I guarentee I agreed to a mechanic shop changing it out on one of the upsales they tried on me 6 years ago when I had tons of money. Did they actually change it? We'll never know. I'll be ordering mine asap. Since it's at least 6 years old 😅 I don't have odors or anything but I did notice the air coming out weak from the vents even at full blast.
With all due respect, that noise in the background that is supposed to be music is very annoying. Why do many people feel there has to be some type of Loud background music on everything they do.
Tinker, I have changed cabin filters on several vehicles but recently bought a T&C so viewed your video. Suggestion; as commenters below touched on, you need to include air flow direction. Secondly, I can’t find the link. What am I missing? Thanks, much.
Thanks for the video. I am a retired, female and didn’t even realize that needed changed. I saw some thing on Facebook that I could do it myself. I tried to find the air filter, but didn’t know I had to put the bottom glove compartment loose. Here’s hoping this works.

how long until sensor light goes out? i changed my cabin filter thanks to your easy-peasy instructions. but i’ve driven a couple of miles and light is still on.
@@TinkerForward Ours was disgusting! I'm going to do it more often for sure. Thanks again as your video made the unknown simple and definitely save me $25 (dealer wanted $35 to do it while it as in for free oil change).

Do you think my wife will be happy with her new air filter compared to the old one that was in our van?

Which direction does the filter actually go, because the arrow means something is it up or down?
Which way does the cabin air filter flow, because the arrow either goes up or down?
