I am sorry but I personally don't see the man you are describing. He did not inspire people, they were afraid of him and his very short temper. If anything, he was a salesman. Jony Ive was the inspiration behind all the physical appeal of Apple machines, and code and mechanics were code writers and engineers. Jobs to his dying day could not show an ounce of respect for the men who pioneered the code and mechanics of Apple. Hell the man initially denied that his daughter was his daughter.

It’s so common when studying something to be asked “And what are you going to do with that when you graduate?” It gives me peace knowing that Steve didn’t even get credit for sitting in on that class, and still it changed the world.

1. Connect the Dots from the Past not the future. 2. Keep looking, don't settle. Find what you love and excel in it. 3. Time, time, time. Courage to follow your heart and intuition. Everything else is secondary
"Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking that you have some to lose, you are already naked, there is no reason not to follow your heart". These words are so profound as they were when echoed that day. Why should we fear to meet people and talk to them about our businesses? We have nothing to lose.
Hi Grace, it’s nice meeting you here.. I’m Edward by name, it would be nice getting to know you,if that’s ok with you? Love this, he had been rejected but was still in love! That's real genuine. Can relate, what can be deemed as ego can be misconstrued. Love never counts the cost it just abounds and exists in the face of any adversity!
@@gloverelaxis He might be a parasite to you, but, I assure you, he was a Godsend to those poor you're talking about. Having lived in a poor country at one point in my life, I can tell you that progress often starts by working for companies like Apple, at rates 20 times lower than Apple would pay outside of your country. Why? Because if Apple pays you 20 times less than they pay their American employee, the alternative pays you 100 times less. If a fraction of those that judge Jobs and those like him, contributed a fraction of their earnings to bettering the world, the world would be 1000 times better than it is by listening to their judgmental "wisdom". Jobs did his part, he contributed a fraction of his earnings every single day of his life, have you? If you haven't stop judging him because calling him a parasite says worse things about you than him.
it is easy to hear the speech & clap but to make it realistic in life needs dedication hardwork & determination only very very little people have that balls
Check what are the options and if you make it big imagine yourself there, think this is the only path and accept the changes which you need to go through and go ahead with it, Contemplate never procrastinate is the way to success
In the 1970's the biggest's minds in IT though that a Microcomputer was only good for toys, so we had Nintendo, Commodore, Radio Shack and many others that were developing the Microcomputers in that direction. IBM CEO publicly stated that Microcomputers will never be important in business affairs, therefore when things started to show that small and medium size businesses were buying Apple computers, IBM still refused to dedicate his people and resources to build Micros, subcontracting Bill Gates to do it for them, and that was the beginning of Microsoft. Steve Jobs was a game changer, because of him we don't use EBCDIC but ASCII, and because of him he have MS-Office.

Even after being called a failure and humiliation he suffered he did not quit. And he chose to learn from what constructive work he had done few years ago.Life sometimes hits us with brick.Keep looking on dont settle until u find what u wanted.Connecting the dots a few years earlier even decade or late may help u in present. But dots are present for success.U just have to find how to connect them.Keep looking for thing, job or anything u love to do and even if u have to look further go on till u find what u love.
This is the most amazing story I have ever listened to in my entire life of over 5 decades. The connection with it is so deep at both the chemistry and psychological levels. Though I have been rejected by two major Universities first as an under graduate and secondly by the very University which gave me two degrees (Bachelor's and Master's) claiming that I didn't know how to write or speak English, the thing that has kept me going is connecting my dots using Piano Music. And whenever I play piano, people tell me that I speak directly to their souls. And now my challenge is: How can I find a Steve Jobs in me, a Steve Jobs that can polish a smart phone to a level of an Apple iPhone?
The gift of all gifts! The knowledge/experience of a life lived. I shared this just now with my fifteen year old son.. Thank you Steve (RIP) and also to you Evan 🙏👌.

This sounds like a comment from someone who disparagingly talks of 'book learning.' Someone with no 'book learning.'
not really. he's a parasite who stole from the poor.
